Hyun Bin and Im Soo-jung pair up in new movie

Hyun Bin has stated his intention to enlist for his mandatory military service soon (some reports say November, other say next year), but has announced what will probably be his last movie before the army calls. It’s a low-budget film by director Lee Yoon-ki (My Dear Enemy) and co-stars Im Soo-jung (Jeon Woo Chi).
A separated couple is the focus of the story, which is still untitled. The shoot begins mid-September and is planned to take a mere two weeks to complete.
This may be his last film project, but there’s a good chance he’ll be squeezing in one more drama role, too. In August, a rep from Hyun Bin’s management stated that he plans to take the lead in SBS’s Secret Garden following this movie, although there were subsequent reports hedging and saying he is only “looking favorably” at the drama. Should he take it, he’d be replacing Jang Hyuk, who was cast early on, and joining Ha Ji-won.
Hyun Bin’s last project was Late Autumn, which he filmed in Seattle with Tang Wei. Im Soo-jung, meanwhile, is currently in the late stages of filming the movie Finding Kim Jong-wook, which co-stars Gong Yoo.

it's been a really long time since I've watched Binnie..since I didn't like his last drama,"friends"...was too violent for me!! miss him so much!!!
am praying that he has time enough to make both the movie & the drama, so that we'll have enough stuff to tide us over the 2 years he'll be gone!!

So glad that Hyun Bin has another new movie and drama in the works! Haven't seen him in anything in a long time. I'm really looking forward to "Late Autumn" cuz I'm curious how their chemistry will be. I can't wait for this indie movie and the new drama as well. All of these projects sound interesting! Wish him all the best before he goes off to duty!

He's left a post for his fans on his official website stating he's accepted both of these roles. it'll be a busy autumn for him indeed!
He's already busy going to VIP screenings, 2 days in a roll (surprise!). Not that it's unexpected he'll go to his hyung's JJM's Invincible for sure.
He also said he'll attend PIFF since Late Autumn will have a screening there.

New Lee Yoon-Ki movie, YAY!!! Bummer that And Us (which would've starred Ha Jung-Woo and Soo Ae) ran into financial difficulties.
With Friend, Our Legend, Manchu and now this, I'm pretty impressed with Binnie's recent career choices.

They haven't even worked together yet. How can you tell whether or not they have chemistry... by their pictures? O.o
That must be pretty hard because chemistry is something you see on screen.
-As much as I like Hyun Bin, I am way more excited to see Im Soo-jung. It's kinda hard to get a hold of her movies so I wish she would pick up a drama role soon ^.^

may ease u worrying ur heads off, they r playing exes. couples can be involved in a whole array of relationships and to burst ur bubble, not all r lovey dovey happily ever after fairytales. plus, i never buy physical 'right fit' has anything to do w/ the elusive acting chemistry. they r both good actors in my book, but still they can have zero chemistry....or TONNES on film. and who can tell till they act tog and bounce off each other?!

If you have a good script and good actors (which this project obviously has), then no need to worry about what kind of movie it is :) Plus, it's a low-budget project, so filming has to be the shortest possible in order to save money.

My Dear Enemy!!
I LOVE MY DEAR ENEMY!!! It's so quiet yet beautifully made. It didn't hurt that the two leads, Jeon Do-yeon and Ha Jeong-woo are such talents.
I could almost believe that My Dear Enemy was shot at around the same time slot. The whole movie was just about a day. :D
Oh..I believe Hyun Bin is very good in establishing chemistry with his female leads. :)
And Im Soo Jung is love. I love her in ..Ing. I LOVE ING AS WELL.
Haha..sorry for the caps vomit. Just that ..Ing and My Dear Enemy brought back so many nice memories. I'm still trying to understand My Dear Enemy though. :/

I'm STILL not sold on Secret Garden. I was going to watch it for Jang Hyuk and if Binnie really replaces him, I'll watch SG for *sure*. Still, I'm not thrilled. IDK. Then again, he's going to leave for the military service soon so one more project is ONE MORE project. ^^ I'm so shallow omg!

guess I've been on the North Pole. I was thinking havent seen him in so long his being in service duty wouldnt matter.
Glad to know he will be doing some new projects before he leaves. I will definitely look for his current projects and watch out the upcoming ones.

Im Soo-jung hmmmm.This name is so familiar yet i can;t remember where had i seen it before until i google for her and viola she is the main lead from the popular melodrama Sorry I Love You.
She's a fine actress and i hope its true she will partner with Hyun Bin.
