Just hoping this doesn't have as disappointing an ending as IRIS. Otherwise looking forward to this drama.

She looks REALLY good.

I saw two episodes of IRIS and was not motivated enough to see the rest. I did checkout some of your recaps, and they confirmed that the drama was just not for me.

When I first heard about Athena, I honestly had zero interest in checking it out. And those initial cheesy poster photos certainly didn't help. But now after seeing the trailer and some clips like these, I'm thinking that this drama actually has potential to be quite entertaining...so, I'm definitely gonna give it a try.

She looks so kickass. and I agree. I think she suits these kind of roles the best. I hope she can live up to the kickassness of kim soyeon. :D

I'm anticipating this drama more so now!

The Legend and I like her boyish character . She will do better in Athena, if the script written for her character is more exciting, hopefully well 'twined" with the lead male character like in The Legend.

i liked iris , oh really is tiring read a lot of negative comments about a drama i like ,sorry but this day i was a lot unhappy and then reading bad things about something you like ,is not nice ,the second episode of iris wasn't very entertaining and i even don't watched iris some time ,but some time later i give iris another chance and then the next episodes were better and then i finished it ,i think athena can be better than iris because iris was first ,is like less experience and less money ,but athena can have more of both ,so is understable why athena look in some aspects a lot better than iris

I'm glad they're having her do some hand to hand combat! I loved her tough self in TWSSG/The Legend. I think having her act in a your average girl in a drama makes her overact.

Lee Ji ah seems to be well suited for this kind of role :) And she does look kickass in the clip~ Hopefully she'll deliver a better acting performance this time around.

I liked her a lot as Sujini and was disappointed with her in "Beethoven Virus" and couldn't stand her in "Style," so I'm a bit excited to see her in "Athena" because I do think she's better in a more action-centred role.

I admit: "Iris" was a let-down, but "Athena" so far is looking better! Still can't say I'm exactly looking forward to it, though, but I'll definitely be checking it out.

i really LOVED her in legend! like, LOVEDLOVED-LOVED her in it. she was really cool in the fighting scenes and when she was getting dirty you know..

and just like a lot of people, i totally hated her in style too.

BUT with the clip you just posted, i'm thinking she'll bring back that "sujini" toughness into athena. so now, i'm REALLY looking forward to watching it. i was thrilled before when it became apparent that woo sung was going to be in it, but now that i see the kind of fighting lee jia will doing, i'm sold!

i liked all her roles but loved her best as SUJINI maybe with BYJ they're complimented each other hope to enjoy ATHENA as much as LEGEND ALL THE BEST "EJIA"

...i really liked his character in b virus, it was a fresh and likeable character... i haven't seen her in any other drama, and even when i'm not a fan of action series ...i will watch her only because of her XD

This chick-a-roo is one of my least fave actresses so I'll withhold judgment until this airs. My hope is that with all of the other great cast members that she steps up her game and does well. I'm looking forward to watching this show...especially for Jung Woo Sung~!

As with most of you, I loved her in Legend. I didnt like Beethovens Virus...really had to double check to see if it was really her. I hope without getting typecast she can stay away from the typical roles because I think she is an actress that can handle more, than the cutesy roles.

I love the action scene of Lee Ji Ah. she is superb here in this drama. I hope the bed scene will not affect her fame since it is her first time doing that serious role. I know that serious kissing or bed scenes are always a part of the role for thriller/action like a James Bond movie. I do hope that she has more confidence during press conference or fan meeting of this drama whenever kissing/bed scene will be the topic of the in the interview, coz it seems that she looks shy during the showcase presentation. So Lee ji ah fighting.. .
