Personal Taste preview clip(s)
by javabeans
First off, this just goes to show how important music selection is, because these two previews use different background music. The above is the one on Korean sites, but it looks like the version on Youtube isn’t allowed to use Green Day. (At least I think that explains the change.) In any case, as a result we get a wholly different feel with the instrumental piece.
I definitely prefer the above version, and it gives a nice breezy vibe without being overly sweet or cutesy, which is what you might expect given the drama’s premise.
It’s actually quite different from what I was expecting, but I like. What do you say?

Love the first one. It gives the feeling of life and chances. Is it just me? I think she looks a little old for him. Hope lots of chemistry will be there.

oh goody...something to look forward to. lately, there's not a kdrama that peaked my interest (weird huh lol).
anyway, hope LMH will have some of the chemistry he had with his former co-star GHS. (of course, no one beats LMH/GHS pairing in my eyes hehe)

Well, there is a third music version at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgxoY-sZ2YE
I like that one better (maybe because that's the first one I saw), and it sounds more like the original score of the drama?!? Wish we had a trailer with real scenes, rather than this CF look one.

I think the 2nd piece, by Bach, reflects the bittersweet complexities of the couple's relationship--the fun and lightness of their time together as roommates and the underlying strain that they will eventually have to face.

Hands down i like the first version. I like the vibe which i don't get it in the second vid. I am not in to Music at all. But somehow i am a big fan of Green Day . And the Preview came with a Total surprise at the end of Still, Marry Me. I Love it. I could not stop watching the Preview.
Personally i never care about their political implication. Maybe because i am not American.

Is it only me? or those two songs are not perfectly fitted with the teaser?
Ah well... I don't care much about this trivial thing actually. I'm so intrigued to watch this nonetheless. Just 2 more weeks guys! Yay :)

Surprisingly to me, I didn't like either theme song.
With the first song, I was distracted by listening to the English lyrics.
The second song, I recognized as being classical music and tried
to remember the title, and who the composer was. So I didn't think that
either song matched the smile-fest that was taking place onscreen.
And why is it that in every kdrama, the background music
in EVERY RESTAURANT is always some song in English?
The music must always be: exotic-sounding-to Korean-ears-English?
Such as Barry Manilow singing: "At the Copa, Copacabana." YUCK.
The opening clip of Lee Min-ho driving the sports car around town
should have a close-up of him turning on the car's radio, and then ~
....just for old time's sake......the song that will live forever in our hearts....
....and as someone posted here a while back said.......we will still be
singing long after we are all dead................"Almost Paradise!"
(Just joking.) :) :) :)
Is it March 31st yet? :)

i really enjoyed the whimsy of the second one. the green day song didn't seem to fit..regardless of whether its origin had political intentions.

I don't think any of these songs fits the atmosphere of this video at all. Why didn't they choose a better song. Please let the actual drama be better. Please....

i like the first def comparatively. the 2nd feels outta place. but somehow that whole clip feels like something sad's gonna happen in the middle. i'm not reading the novel recap (for the fear of spoilers) but the airport scene felt a little..sad. regardless of the music used.
though i agree that music is bout mood, but somehow this green day song always make me feel a bit melo. no?
and is that the practice hall of Beethoven Virus I see? :D
Kim Myung Min JJANG! (Okay, so digressed.)
By the way: I checked the trailers on YouTube, found that there are a few versions of it. I'm like yeh?? So which is the correct song now? :S

edit: the official one (from MBC website) shows the Green Day version. But I agree..perhaps the copyright can't be transferred to youtube, having so many different kinds of instrumentals.

Hmm. Just hope the show's gonna be more entertaining and comical than what the clip showed. The plotline just have so much potential to be really funny.

i think it'll be better cinderella's sister than this drama.. i know, i can't decide which is better by just look from its stills and preview.. but i have a right to say from the first impression.. cinderella's sister is better from personal taste.. besides it has more interesting plot, beautiful actress, the leading actors have a high quality acting skills.. but i can't decide until it premieres on 31 March 2010.. we'll see which drama has a higher rating and positive comment.. but after all, this drama has an attractive too.. i'll try to watch it alongside cinderella's sister.. aja2 fighting, lee min ho! aja2 fighting too, cinderella's sister!

That girl's hairdo is annoying with the little bump sticking out. Who chose to do that to her hair? It is cheesy.
