Triple press conference
by javabeans
Look, it’s gonna be tedious calling out “MINE” for every single cast member and photo, so howsabout we just come to the understanding that they are ALL mine? Okay? Phew, I knew we could work that out.
Also, please note that this drama is now premiering on June 11, THURSDAY (not Wednesday). In the past few weeks, the date has been switching between the 10th and the 11th (even different news outlets for this very press conference posted differing information) but the official site now says that Episodes 1 and 2 will both show on Thursday.
Yunno, I no longer really care about the figure skating aspect of this drama, since it’s not likely to overshadow the plot. So, the main point for me is: It just seems like FUN.
After all, how can you not totally dig these three men together?
Also, director Lee Yoon-jung, who did the sports drama Taereung National Village before trendy drama Coffee Prince, emphasized at the June 2 press conference that while it seems that Triple would be a natural trendy sports mix, it is actually not a sports drama. Rather, she defines it as a story of six characters living in Seoul in 2009, the majority of whom are not athletes. She said, “This drama is a story of growing up.”
The characters are split into the figure-skating athletes and coaches (Min Hyo-rin, Lee Hana, Park So-hyun) and the employees of an advertising agency (Lee Jung-jae, Lee Seon-kyun, Yoon Kye-sang, Kim Hee).
But the relationships between the characters are described as complicated: Shin-hwal (Lee Jung-jae) is hurt by Su-in (Lee Hana), who then is attracted to his co-worker Hyun-tae (Yoon Kye-sang). Shin-hwal’s skater stepsister Haru (Min Hyo-rin) starts to like him, and is coached by Su-in. On top of that, another of Shin-hwal’s co-workers, Sang-hee (Kim Hee) has a one-sided crush on him, but contrary to her feelings, she has a one-night fling with another co-worker Hae-yoon (Lee Seon-kyun).
Phew! Comedy ensues, I presume.
The description sounds fairly similar to “makjang” dramas (those exaggerated soap-opera theatrics), but with PD Lee at the helm, we can hope for funny, sweet storytelling. I hope. And barring that, at least we’ll be treated to a nice soundtrack.
Lee Jung-jae is said to be playing against his real personality with a hot-tempered sort of character:
Newly married, Lee Seon-kyun is looking mighty cool:
Do I love Yoon Kye-sang‘s hair? Well, no. (And Lee Jung-jae is proof positive of how much a difference a nice upsweep can do for you.) But I absolutely love his little-boy smile.
I’m not particularly looking forward to Min Hyo-rin, but with all the other goodness in this drama, I don’t think she’ll bother me. From the preview clips, she even seems like she might pull off the character decently enough.
I think Lee Hana looks adorable. I’m getting the sense she’s supposed to be a little staid, but she pulls off casual-chic.
Newcomer Kim Hee looked cute in the previews among the ad men:

I think I can get the point of what ndegeocello want to stress. It was her/his preference and hopes for a drama BASICALLY what her/his initial hope for this drama. I'm basically agree with her/his opinions though. My liking towards K drama has decreased because of lack of moral/value message but if others want to do whatever they want to do i.e watching everything for the sake of entertainment solely, let they do. I just feel that I'm bored with K dramas already after 10 years browsing with it. I preferred Jodorama even its has some flaws in the depth of a love story. White Tower is a rare one. Many people watch dramas merely for entertainment and I don't thinks its wrong, it just I can't enjoy the repetitious not-so-depth dramas kinds of plots.

Actually I'm looking forward to Triple too since it was told is a sports drama but now since I knew its a love story which used a lil sports background as a backdrop, I kind dissapointed. It just me, maybe.

@43 ndegeocello - Jun 2, 2009 at 8:06 pm
"Actually, I wasn’t being sarcastic. Nor was I trying to play victim. I was admitting that I realize what I have to say is annoying for others to read. Honestly, I know my comments are annoying to everyone else here and people look down on me because I’m not joining the bandwagon. That doesn’t make me a victim. I’m merely not joining the rest of you and it’s my decision not to. I’m not blaming anyone else here for the way I feel about the drama. "
You were admitting that you are evil and Satan? No, I think you were being sarcastic, and you were playing the outsider all alone. Let's not get into semantics, but if you were just admitting that you weren't joining the bandwagon, you have an odd way of showing it.
But, here's my point. I am not like everyone else, everybody is not like everybody else. We are all the same, just with different opinions about various things. It doesn't make you special to have different opinions, because we all do. Am I a fan of figure skating? Not particularly. Am I going to watch Triple? Probably not. Honestly, I don't think it will be that good, and my plate is full, and if I do get to Triple, it won't be until it comes out in a DVD set, and, it gets good reviews from people I trust, and, the price isn't $100+.
"And hey, your baseball drama actually sounds good! A lot better than Strike Love!"
Never saw Stike Love. But I have my hopes and wishes for various dramas too, but I guess my expression doesn't come in the form of a rant unless its meant to be taken lightly. Getting serious and angsty over romantic dramas is a little over the top.
"FWIW, I didn’t even touch Temptation of Wife. I can smell garbage like that fifty feet away. And I dropped Queen of Housewives after a couple of weeks. So I’m not just against Triple. "
Temptation of Wife might be garbage to you, but 40% ratings say it isn't garbage to a lot of people. It isn't garbage, it just isn't your cup of tea. In fact, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I got dumber as I watched it, but for entertainment value, it had be absolutely enthralled for maybe 3 weeks with no regrets. Mak-jang dramas have their place in the k-drama world too.
"But why can’t I hold it to another standard? I mean, everyone raves about the PD, right? And her previous sports drama was critically acclaimed. Is it wrong for me to have some kind of higher expectations for people who are supposed to be good at what they do? Yea, Lee Yoon Jung is good and because of that, I expected more from her."
You can hold people to whatever standard you want. You can wish for the moon and the stars, too. But don't be too disappointed if those standards aren't met. Like I said, everybody is the same, we all feel the same things but our tastes vary with respect to various actors/dramas, but if every thread was filled with rants about how disappointing it was that this drama didn't talk about sex education, and that drama didn't live up to the standard of bringing a moral message about alcoholism, and that drama didn't talk about child abuse and pressure, and this drama didn't fully explore sexual harassment, assault and rape.... then we all might find it difficult to get through the day.
"Over here at Javabeans, almost every comment is about how hot Male 1 is or how cute Male 2 is and who Male 3 belongs to."
LOL. As true as that is, it is also not true. Plenty of comments about everything from who Males 4 and 5 belongs too as well. Seriously though, these threads are filled with substantive discussions that don't revolve around the hotness that is KJW (mine).
"That’s because most people here only know the actors and don’t know who Kim Yeon Ah is."
No, I think most people know. I think, rather, it is because Kim Yeon Ah is in the figure skating world, and if this were a website devoted to the exploration of the obsession over Korean figure skating, rather than the obsession with k-dramas, then I think you'd have a different set of posters, no?
"But that doesn’t mean I can’t comment. If people want to drool and fangirl, then go to Soompi. (J/K! But seriously, the last time I checked, that place lacked in any real discussion! Every male actor thread had a thousand pages of meaningless fangirling.) I like coming to Javabeans because most of the time there are real discussions and good debates going on. I’m not saying my opinion is law, but I do have the right to express it, just like everyone else here is expressing their fangirlisms."
It seems like you are asking people to respect your opinions, but then you don't respect their opinions.... this is often the case, but I really think you have found the right group of thoughtful posters here but with a focus that is different than yours.
"Nobody is stopping me from writing a drama, but you’re certainly trying to stop me from expressing my opinions. I get it. I’m the Debbie Downer and you’re trying to shut me up."
Woaaaaaah.... not true, and again, I sense the victim approach creeping back. I am trying to understand your position, and trying to get you to understand that you can have whatever opinion you want, but expressing it entails accepting the consequences. You stated a position, I am asking about it, and you are defending it like you've already lost.
"Goodness, does everyone here have to love Triple? God forbid a naysayer exists! I’ve seen others dissent and complain about other dramas and they’re given the right to. So why can’t I?"
I don't love Triple. Like I said, I probably won't even get to it before next year, and by then, if it doesn't have a good story and if people whom I trust, don't like it, then I won't watch it, and certainly, I'm not spending $80 + s/h to buy the box set.
And again, nobody says you can't complain. And you don't even have to explain yourself either. But then don't be surprised if people disagree or are confused, especially if your complaint takes the form of a rant that ppl aren't really getting.
"it could have been more. With this amount of talent level involved in the drama, it could have been a lot more."
Almost every drama could have been more. But if these threads were just filled with angsty ranters who complained about every drama that could be more, then this would be one pissed-off website.
"You’re never going to get my point until you realize I’m not pushing for only a storyline about Korea/Japan. I’m asking for storylines with meaning that don’t have to do with a love story."
Well, here's a point I agree with! And I think everybody can agree with this sentiment to some degree. One sentence kernel of truth, and we can all agree with this, at least to some degree.
"And my point is, I have the right to expect better from this drama. I like the PD and I like most of these actors so I want a meaningful drama from them. And for me, meaningful is more than just a love story. "
Ok, now I disagree again. You don't have the right to expect better from this drama or any drama. You can wish for more, but you don't have privity to expect better from any drama.
"I get the feeling I pushed your buttons and you seem to have taken personal attack from my comments. It wasn’t my intention to sound like I’m demanding other viewers of this drama to follow my reasoning and feelings. I was merely expressing the way I feel and I totatly realize how alone I am in my opinions."
Actually, I rarely take any comments personally, so no worries. :) I am a lawyer, and my background is in taking arguments for what they are, regardless of who they are from. And you aren't alone in your opinions, just in your reasoning.

@55 Samsooki
“You were admitting that you are evil and Satan? “
Yes, in everyone else’s eyes, I felt like I was evil and Satan to them for having such negative thoughts about their beloved drama.
“No, I think you were being sarcastic, and you were playing the outsider all alone.”
Hello?? I was the outsider all alone, until anastassia showed up.
“Let’s not get into semantics, but if you were just admitting that you weren’t joining the bandwagon, you have an odd way of showing it.”
How is it odd? Everyone else was for the drama, I was against it. And it appeared to me people were angry at my comments, looking at me as if I were evil to be against it.
“But, here’s my point. I am not like everyone else, everybody is not like everybody else. We are all the same, just with different opinions about various things. It doesn’t make you special to have different opinions, because we all do. Am I a fan of figure skating? Not particularly. Am I going to watch Triple? Probably not. Honestly, I don’t think it will be that good, and my plate is full, and if I do get to Triple, it won’t be until it comes out in a DVD set, and, it gets good reviews from people I trust, and, the price isn’t $100+.”
What does this point have to with anything I said? “We are all the same, just with different opinions” ?? Then we’re not the same at all. You mean, we’re all humans? OK, obviously.
“Never saw Stike Love. But I have my hopes and wishes for various dramas too, but I guess my expression doesn’t come in the form of a rant unless its meant to be taken lightly. Getting serious and angsty over romantic dramas is a little over the top.”
So this is what’s bothering everyone? That I made a rant against their beloved drama? Is that it? OK, so Javabeans is now a place where we can only post positive comments and rants are not allowed?
“Temptation of Wife might be garbage to you, but 40% ratings say it isn’t garbage to a lot of people. It isn’t garbage, it just isn’t your cup of tea. In fact, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I got dumber as I watched it, but for entertainment value, it had be absolutely enthralled for maybe 3 weeks with no regrets. Mak-jang dramas have their place in the k-drama world too.”
Exactly. Am I demanding anyone else to not watch whatever they want to watch just because I don’t like it? You like it, go for it. I’m not stopping you. And I’m also not trying to stop you’re positive comments for dramas I don’t like.
“You can hold people to whatever standard you want. You can wish for the moon and the stars, too.”
Really? Because people like gizmo are telling me to lower my standards.
“But don’t be too disappointed if those standards aren’t met.”
Uh, that’s the whole point of standards. When they aren’t met, you’re disappointed. If I weren’t disappointed, then my standards would be lower. So if you don’t want me to get disappointed, then you’re asking me to lower my standards. And didn’t you just say I can hold it to whatever standard I want?
“Like I said, everybody is the same”
But we’re not.
“we all feel the same things but our tastes vary with respect to various actors/dramas, but if every thread was filled with rants about how disappointing it was that this drama didn’t talk about sex education, and that drama didn’t live up to the standard of bringing a moral message about alcoholism, and that drama didn’t talk about child abuse and pressure, and this drama didn’t fully explore sexual harassment, assault and rape…. then we all might find it difficult to get through the day.”
OK, I think I’m starting to get your stance. You and most others here, basically don’t want me to rant. It’s completely OK to rant about other dramas, but Triple is off limits. Got it.
“LOL. As true as that is, it is also not true. Plenty of comments about everything from who Males 4 and 5 belongs too as well. Seriously though, these threads are filled with substantive discussions that don’t revolve around the hotness that is KJW (mine).”
Are we talking about this specific thread? Where are the substantive discussions that don't revolve around hotness in this thread?
“No, I think most people know.”
They probably know now after reading my comments! Har har…
“I think, rather, it is because Kim Yeon Ah is in the figure skating world, and if this were a website devoted to the exploration of the obsession over Korean figure skating, rather than the obsession with k-dramas, then I think you’d have a different set of posters, no?”
Yea, probably. So, since Javabeans is about obsession over Korean dramas, all comments about dramas must be positive. Negative opinions are not allowed!
“It seems like you are asking people to respect your opinions, but then you don’t respect their opinions…. this is often the case, but I really think you have found the right group of thoughtful posters here but with a focus that is different than yours.”
Woah, woah, woah! When have I ever not respected someone else’s opinions? Did I ever attack anyone else for their opinions. I wrote my opinion and you quoted me and dissected my every thought. I replied. I didn’t attack anyone else.
Unless you’re saying that every negative thought is disrespectful. So anyone who says anything negative is being disrespectful to others.
“Woaaaaaah…. not true, and again, I sense the victim approach creeping back. I am trying to understand your position, and trying to get you to understand that you can have whatever opinion you want, but expressing it entails accepting the consequences. You stated a position, I am asking about it, and you are defending it like you’ve already lost. “
Well, you’re certainly trying to show me how negative my comments are and how disrespectful it is and basically telling me negative comments aren’t allowed at Javabeans. So yea, it does seem like you’re trying to shut me up.
“And again, nobody says you can’t complain. And you don’t even have to explain yourself either. But then don’t be surprised if people disagree or are confused, especially if your complaint takes the form of a rant that ppl aren’t really getting.”
Actually, I do have to explain myself because people like yourself, keep asking me questions. And I’m not surprised people disagree with me. I did say I was alone in my opinion. I’m just surprised people aren’t letting me voice my opinions. It may be negative, but since when were negative comments not allowed?
This site is free to bash actors like Kwon Sang Woo, but again, Triple is off limits.
“Almost every drama could have been more. But if these threads were just filled with angsty ranters who complained about every drama that could be more, then this would be one pissed-off website.”
It wasn’t filled with angsty ranters. I was the only one. And people like you are trying to shut me up. So, don’t be too worried. As long as people like you exist, this site will never become one pissed-off website because all the negative comments will be censored.
“Ok, now I disagree again. You don’t have the right to expect better from this drama or any drama. You can wish for more, but you don’t have privity to expect better from any drama.”
OK, then any comments like, “I expected better from this actor” are not allowed?? Because I’m sure I read that countless times all over this website. What is the difference between expecting better and wishing for more?
@55 mm
“are you sure? i dont think so… ”
I’m not going to be a coward and back away from what I have said. People are asking me questions and I’m replying. I’m not adding any new comments on top of that. So in the future threads about Triple, I’ve learned to shut my mouth instead of posting something negative because I've learned right now, negative comments about Triple are not allowed. Not ever.
”all your posts here combined we can reprint it to a lil pamphlet giving at olympic ice-skating event..”
Nice! So some people learned at least something from what I’ve said. But, that wasn’t my intention. I was writing my opinions and didn’t expect others to learn something from it.
”to show to kim yu na(am i spell her name right?well ..i dont really care)”
You’re actually right. It’s the NBC way of saying her name. (if you really care)
”that no matter people expecting you to win gold medal becos they watch triple..(does it even make sense?)”
Sorry, it doesn’t make sense to me.
“i hope she’s just not fall at sleep before finishing all of it like i did…
ZZZ”
Again, not making sense to me. But that’s OK! It’s probably a negative comment to Kim Yeon Ah, right? Those are allowed, but anything negative about Triple is not allowed.

@56 ndegeocello
My last response, and I won't be back to this thread to read any response you might have. Trying to reason with you is like trying to hold sand in one's hands.
Some general comments:
1. No, not everyone is for Triple. I am not for it or against it, for example. How can I be? I've not seen it, and I doubt I'll see it in the next year or so. And I can't speak for everyone, but as for me, I was just curious as to why you felt like you did. You didn't make a whole lot of sense when you started your rant. Then you wrote a whole lot trying to explain yourself, but really, you still don't make a lot of sense.
2. It is almost like you are deliberately trying to not understand what other people are saying. This makes me not want to take the time to go through what you write. You seem just make up things as you go along, shifting as you go along. It makes for boring and confusing reading, and it also is poor etiquette. Now, if I see you post something, my reaction now will just be to skip whatever it is you write. And I try to read everybody's thoughts if I pick up a thread.
3. What bothers me isn't that you ranted against a drama. A lot of people do that, in fact, and a lot of people bust on actors or dramas that I like (Sung Yuri, Jang Nara, Eric Mun, Snow Queen, etc.). This is all fine - they say how they feel, and I disagree, and I respond back, and everybody has a different opinion and it's all good. They talk, I listen, then vice versa. And I disagree a lot with JB, and she says one thing and I think the opposite (not intentionally, but it happens), and life goes on just fine. What DOES bother me though is that I got suckered into replying to you and in so doing, completely wasted my time with your troll-like arguments.
4. Finally, if you want to say that you dislike a drama, you can say so. But the drama hasn't even aired yet, and your comments and replies are way out of proportion to the general tenor of other posters. That's why I initially responded to you. I chose to reply to your responses in hopes of finding some level of rationality, but I got shifting arguments and very poor attitude back. Now I am a little bit miffed because I can't get the aggregate hour or so I spent trying to figure out what you meant.
Finally, here's a smattering of your comments:
"It’s completely OK to rant about other dramas, but Triple is off limits. Got it .... Javabeans is about obsession over Korean dramas, all comments about dramas must be positive. Negative opinions are not allowed!...Unless you’re saying that every negative thought is disrespectful. So anyone who says anything negative is being disrespectful to others.... This site is free to bash actors like Kwon Sang Woo, but again, Triple is off limits....And people like you are trying to shut me up. So, don’t be too worried. As long as people like you exist, this site will never become one pissed-off website because all the negative comments will be censored."
It is these kinds of ridiculous comments that show an attitude that you have no intention of trying to understand what any else has to say. How can anyone take you seriously? People made good faith attempts, me included, to try to engage you in discussion, and you are now talking about censorship?
So, this is a mak-jang (dead-end) now.
You probably won't take this advice, but I'll try anyway. It is the cry of every troll - "ohhhh, freedom of speech, stop trying to censor me, stop trying to shut me up, everybody is against me..." after they have shifted their arguments enough so that they there is nothing left to say.
This is not my website, this is JB's website, and I have no relationship to her other than being very grateful for her to take her talent and her time/energy to maintain such a great website. And people tend to be positive here because it is a reflection on JB's positive energy and wit and spirit. JB can be negative about this or that, and others can be negative too, but being negative necessarily requires more thought and consideration to other people's feelings than being positive. And when JB says something to you directly, you should take her words as carefully as you can.
If you wish to be taken seriously, and if you want people to listen to what you have to say, and/or, if you want to make friends here and chat about various things (mostly related to k-dramas or j-doramas), then I suggest that you drop this, apologize for wasting everyone's time, and then just start over.

@58 Samsooki
“My last response, and I won’t be back to this thread to read any response you might have. Trying to reason with you is like trying to hold sand in one’s hands. “
Blame and run. Whatever works for you.
“1. No, not everyone is for Triple. I am not for it or against it, for example. How can I be? I’ve not seen it, and I doubt I’ll see it in the next year or so. And I can’t speak for everyone, but as for me, I was just curious as to why you felt like you did. You didn’t make a whole lot of sense when you started your rant. Then you wrote a whole lot trying to explain yourself, but really, you still don’t make a lot of sense.”
And I don’t understand why I don’t make sense to you. Javabeans and anastassia seem to understand where I’m coming from.
“2. It is almost like you are deliberately trying to not understand what other people are saying.”
Please, show me an example of where am I deliberately trying to not understand you. Maybe it’s you who’s deliberately trying to not understand me. Childish, right? Well, it’s a childish argument to begin with.
“This makes me not want to take the time to go through what you write. You seem just make up things as you go along, shifting as you go along. It makes for boring and confusing reading, and it also is poor etiquette.”
Again, show me an example of this. Oh, but how convenient for you. You start your comment by saying you’ll no longer respond to what I say and then you go ahead and make all these accusations of me.
“Now, if I see you post something, my reaction now will just be to skip whatever it is you write. And I try to read everybody’s thoughts if I pick up a thread.”
Oh, it stings and it hurts so much that Samsooki will never read my comments. I never asked you to read my comments in the first place.
“3. What DOES bother me though is that I got suckered into replying to you and in so doing, completely wasted my time with your troll-like arguments.”
Just to remind you, this is how it all started: I commented first at #18. Then you listed a bunch of questions for me at #20. I replied to your questions at #27. Then you responded to me and added more questions at #33. Then I responded #43. And so on. You approached me first and I replied. It’s not my fault you wanted to dissect my comments and ask me questions. And my arguments aren’t troll-like. Yes, they’re repetitive, but that’s because your questions are too, so my responses are pretty much the same. But it’s not troll-like. Trolls don’t have a line of thought. I do and in simple terms it goes like this:
I like Lee Yoon Jung. I like Lee Hana. I like Lee Jung Jae. I like Lee Sun Kyoon. I like figure skating. Add all of these elements together and I was expecting a good drama. Something more than just a love story. PD Lee Yoon Jung says the drama will focus on the love story and not figure skating. So I expressed my disappointment. Apparently, that kind of disappointment is not welcome here.
“4. Finally, if you want to say that you dislike a drama, you can say so. But the drama hasn’t even aired yet, and your comments and replies are way out of proportion to the general tenor of other posters.”
But everyone makes judgments about a drama before it airs. I expressed negatively, others expressed positively. How does anyone know for sure this is going to be good and entertaining? They don't, but that’s what people hope for and are expecting, aren’t they? Whether it’s positive or negative feelings, we’re all still expecting something from this drama.
“That’s why I initially responded to you. I chose to reply to your responses in hopes of finding some level of rationality, but I got shifting arguments and very poor attitude back. Now I am a little bit miffed because I can’t get the aggregate hour or so I spent trying to figure out what you meant.”
I still don’t see what is so hard to understand about my comments. If you want, you can show me where exactly you’re confused and I can try to repeat it simpler terms.
“Finally, here’s a smattering of your comments:
'It’s completely OK to rant about other dramas, but Triple is off limits. Got it …. Javabeans is about obsession over Korean dramas, all comments about dramas must be positive. Negative opinions are not allowed!…Unless you’re saying that every negative thought is disrespectful. So anyone who says anything negative is being disrespectful to others…. As long as people like you exist, this site will never become one pissed-off website because all the negative comments will be censored.'"
Oh good. Do you get it know? This paragraph above sums up the message I’m getting from everyone here who is angry towards my comments.
“It is these kinds of ridiculous comments that show an attitude that you have no intention of trying to understand what any else has to say. How can anyone take you seriously? People made good faith attempts, me included, to try to engage you in discussion, and you are now talking about censorship?”
Who do I need to understand? I didn’t attack anyone else for their comments. You and others, are the ones who are taking my comments and questioning me.
“You probably won’t take this advice, but I’ll try anyway. It is the cry of every troll - “ohhhh, freedom of speech, stop trying to censor me, stop trying to shut me up, everybody is against me…” after they have shifted their arguments enough so that they there is nothing left to say. “
WTH? So now I’m a troll? I write some negative comments about a drama, people attack me for them and now I’m the troll?
“This is not my website, this is JB’s website, and I have no relationship to her other than being very grateful for her to take her talent and her time/energy to maintain such a great website. And people tend to be positive here because it is a reflection on JB’s positive energy and wit and spirit. JB can be negative about this or that, and others can be negative too, but being negative necessarily requires more thought and consideration to other people’s feelings than being positive. And when JB says something to you directly, you should take her words as carefully as you can.”
All true and actually, Javabeans is the only one here who, when questioned my comments, I felt really read my responses and tried to understand what I was saying.
“If you wish to be taken seriously, and if you want people to listen to what you have to say,”
That’s the thing, I never asked people to listen to what I have to say. I just said what I said. You don’t have to listen to me and you don’t have to read my comments. It was you, Samsooki, and many others, who questioned my comments, so I’m just replying to them.
“and/or, if you want to make friends here and chat about various things (mostly related to k-dramas or j-doramas), then I suggest that you drop this, apologize for wasting everyone’s time,”
WTH? Whose time did I waste? Did I ask you to read my comments? Did I ask you to reply to whatever I had to say? If you want to ignore what I have to say, go right ahead. But if you choose to read it and respond to it, expecting answers from me, then don’t tell me that I’m the one wasting your time. You took it upon yourself to do all these things. If you feel like your time was wasted, then so be it, but if for sure is not my fault. It’s your own damn fault.
“and then just start over.”
No thank you. I still stand by what I say. I’m not going to be a coward and run away from it.

I come on this thread and I'm like whoa!! What is with all the dissertation writing? What do you guys all do for a living to have this much time? I want to know!
Speaking of which where is my favorite online dissertation writer belleza. I haven't heard a peep out of her since the Epik high concert in LA. Is she suffering from stendhal's syndrome as an aftermath of the concert?
BTW I'm looking forward to this drama. For all I care the backdrop could have been about the dodgeball circuit or about competition level air guitar and I would watch it for YKS and the voice. Actually the image of the three of them doing air guitar is pretty funny and perhaps even better than ice skating.

One of the greatest things I have always loved about Javabeans site is the level of intelligence and the diverse opinions of the posts. NO ONE is required to agree to anything and EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion.
There have been a lot of interesting points that you both put forward. However, things did get a bit hot under the collar and very personal. I think somewhere in the crossfire the fact that the premise in the paragraph above was forgotten.
Ndegeocello, I hope you will continue to post comments here. I may not agree with you but I did enjoy and found your comments quite interesting.

Yeah....what is this about accusing people of being trolls just because they post a negative comment? Not cool. Not cool at all.....even if you may have the vocabulary of a dictionary and the time to write dissertations here. Everyone is entitled to post their comments and opinions, save the name-calling for some place else.
