Levi’s Lady Style’s new model Song Hye-gyo
by javabeans
Song Hye-gyo models a suspiciously elongated body line in her new Levi’s Jeans ads — suspicious because while she’s certainly known for her beauty, she’s also known for being super-short.
A rep for the company explained, “Ms. Song recently wore our product while shooting her drama in Singapore, and paparazzi photos were buzzed-about by netizens. Afterward, inquiries into our brand started pouring in. With her as our model, I believe interest in our clothes will increase even further.”
She’s currently busing her next drama, KBS’s The World They Live In, starring opposite Hyun Bin and directed by the PD of Full House. She also unveils her Hollywood venture, formerly called “Fetish” and now going by the title Make Yourself At Home, at the upcoming Pusan International Film Festival.

It'd be odd if pictures ARENT touched up these days.
The pictures are pretty but nothing special...it seems like all jeans ads are similar...don't they look kind of like park shi yeon's shoot?

She is definitely pretty (not that great of an actress from what I've seen). I admit there is nothing creative about the ad

In the 1st photo, could hardly tell that was Song Hye-Gyo. There're definitely some stretching done here (not surprise. It's every where these day)
Her legs look more proportion to SHG's actual frame.

song hye-gyo is a very petite & curvaceous gal (about the same height & build as me) so don't know how else they made her look that long & lean in the photos...still she looks good in those black jeans...makes me want to go out & get myself a pair...

Song Hye Kyo is overrated. All she is known for is her so called looks. People wouldn't even waste their time on her had she been plain looking, cause nothng else is worth noticing aside from her looks that people are so obsessed about.
On the first picture, her expression sucks...she looks constipated. And in Full House I remember she had short, stubby legs, so yes they photoshopped the heck out of those ugly looking legs of hers.

It's the angle of the camera. Someone had to almost lie on the floor to take that picture so that her legs would look long. Petite girls can look very sexy so I don't know why they do this. Why not embrace your 'petiteness',

she has a certain aura, the "perfect girl to bring home for mom" kinda i guess. i think the "bouffant" hairstyle in 1st pic is worn better by shin min-a, who tried to project an "attitude of fashion" fitting its milieu (was it Gogo 70s?) yeah her legs are definitely digitally enhanced. a recent pic for The World They Live In showed her in shorts (not fashionable ones, on purpose I guess)...she was surprisingly not leggy, at all.
but come to think of it, a lot of classical hollywood stars were revealed to have physical shortcomings here and there, much later after their era and careers have ended. they didn't have to be perfect physical specimen, they just had an indefinable something that could be brought past the stratosphere with lighting, camera angles, costumes.

like sonam said above- the angle does make her legs look longer- and it does seem like the photographer probably have to lie or crouch really low on the floor in order to get that shot. And if you look at the first pic closely- you'd notice she's like wearing 4 inch heels because the jeans sort of tent up a bit. but like jenjen said, it'd be odd if the pics aren't touched up nowadays.

@ #6
I think you're comment was also posted somewhere else.
Fine. She's overrated for you. Get over it.
She may have short legs but they aren't ugly or stubby. Even a non-fan would agree with me. You are such a hater. And you said it yourself, she is not plain looking that's why people are "wasting" their time on her.
And just like they said, what else isn't photoshopped these days?

Hmm...I always thought SHK had more of a butt than that. I guess it must have been all the baby fat she's lost over the past few years.
@ #6 Do you really think John Woo would personally ask her to be the leading lady in his new movie if she's just a pretty face?

Um, yes?
Just like how he cast Lin Chi-ling in Red Cliff.

She has no ass either, haha. Does any Korean celebs that model for jeans have any? I guess these days you just need to be popular and pretty and the rest is up to photoshop.
Also, bad call on the short hair cut. Fans might like it, but I prefer her with long hair. It's the same with Nam Gyuri. Their hair look really flat and plain.

i really don't think john woo is that stupid. i agree her acting is not that superduper great, but it is still good and above average.
and if someone say john woo propose her for his new movie flatly for her looks, then she must be as pretty as a goddess and perhaps the prettiest actress in korea.

I don't know why everyone has this standard of being tall is being beautiful. As a short person, I wish I was taller in daily life, but I've learn to embrace my petiteness. As long as your body is proportional, I don't think having short legs make you look stubby.
SHK is definitely wearing very tall heels in the 1st pic. The shadowing in the picture also makes her legs look lean, so she looks taller in addition to good angling.
She looks like a very elegant, gentle and sweet person, and I think that is what makes her stand out more from other beauties in the K entertainment industry.

I actually prefer petite to tall. That's why I like Asian dramas. All those ingenue gamines with big hearts.. Just imagine a tall girl playing the role of the ingenue in Sorry I love you - it just wouldn't be the same. So Ji Sub wouldn't look so cool. When I was teenager I bought the "tall' story but now I love being petite!

SHK looked quite plain when she came over to Singapore for her shooting. I prefer her with long hair too.
