I just watched the last episode of Do Bong Soon and everything was going SO WELL – but then…
…am I the only one who thinks that ending was overkill? -.-

    Omo. I haven’t watched it yet, but I wonder what happened! I saw a spoiler thumbnail on yt, so I kinda know what to expect, but I hope it’s not as bad as you’re making it sound. I mean, at this point, all there really is is for everyone to have their storylines wrapped up in nice and neat bows (oh, and for Dad to come back, I guess), so I’m expecting a ton of BongMin sweetness and happy endings all around.

    I wish they stop it at the flower viewing scene since we already wrapped up every other storyline. It was a perfect place to end, with a hopeful and sweet tone, and both of them looking forward to what tomorrow brings. But this kind of wacky ending is okay too, I guess.

      Yes, agree! The whole ‘ever after’ part was so…contrived! It was also very cringey. 🙁

    I agree tbh. Between having to skip all the useless gangster and mum-abusing-dad and other cringe-inducing scenes, I kinda lost my connection to the drama. The otp felt so organic originally but by the end I feel like the lazy writing was relying too heavily on the actors to make up for it.

      Yes, agree! The only drama that ever made the ‘ever after’ ending seem organic was Secret Garden. Their kids were so realistic. This was just…I cannot even. ~.~’

      Yeah…not many dramas can get an ending right. :/ I did love the comedic parts of this show very much tho. And Min-Min and Bong-Bong will always be classic, so I will forgive and try to forget. 😀
