ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ *squeees!!! ?😃😄😍😳😍 I LOVE how this show is playing with us. A line that is usually romantic, delivered in the most matter-of-fact and non-romantic way, while still giving us all the feels!

Omona suddenly I’ve time-travelled back to Joseon somehow and became a water maid! ?

Lol @ all these K-show games and their food prizes.

😂😅 I know right. I have mixed feelings about them but can’t stop watching because I like the members’ interactions, and also am too curious to see what crazy thing they’re going to do next. Part of me feels really sorry that they go through all of these though (it can’t be good for their health!), and another part of me wonders just why people/Koreans/whoever thought up this idea to make food a prize find it funny. Another part of me goes like, ah… so Pavlovian… and it’s very sobering to me because how all these games work seem to boil down a lot to human instincts for survival. … 😅 Sorry, rambly me.

Haha, never be sorry! It’s all good. 👍🏼
You’ve definitely put a lot of thought into this. 😅 You’re right. Most of the time, it’s got a lot to do with how much they want to survive/win the game(s). I always chuckle when I find out the prize is A TRAY OF SPECIAL KOREAN BEEF/PORK! It gets me every time when it’s followed by a bunch of genuinely happy and surprised faces, cheering and clapping. Koreans love their meats, man. Another crowd favorite is ramen! Haha.

She. Made. Him. Smile….!!!!!!!!!!!! T.T (These are tears of joy) So ecstatic for Shi-mok! He’s so happy just because she referred to the two of them as a unit! Finally, someone who trusts him (‘:

Aww, he smiled and I was crying. Our Prosecutor Hwang can smile. Absolutely loving Yeo Jin – Shi Mok partnership. That question and answer about aliens though, so funny and apt 😀😁😂

I know right, so great that he found his smile!! 😊 They are so great together!! Especially in that scene where they both did the whole good cop bad cop routine on the lady running the shady bar place. Awesome chemistry 🎆🎇

About the aliens, it was so hilarious that he said yes…!! I’d thought he’d say no because he seemed like the kind to only believe in things he could see and could be quite sure of, so it was unexpected for me. But apt like you said – it gave me a new perspective on why some people may believe in aliens! xD

Wow, I didn’t expect such a dialogue from a thriller, that post made me want to watch that drama (this and its OST)

Fan wall posts have destroyed all my drama watching schedules cuz i keep getting tempted to watch more.. and this recommendation was totally worth it! ^_^

Well unicorns vomiting rainbows is the kinda happy imaginary world of romcom which first drew me into kdrama! 😀

aww… shi-mok finds it hard to believe that there could be deeper, more subconscious things which take up more space in his head compared to his rational thoughts.

? she is so funny. but it’s true! shi-mok really doesn’t eat enough meals…

Thank God for detective Yejin. You saved our prosecutor’s life! Look at that man, he’s starving T.T And the way she looks at him, that’s how I feel too T.T

…That aside, just wanted to say how beautiful Shi-mok is. Those waves in his hair, perfectly coiffed, that jawline to die for, and the way his face expresses all the thoughts he doesn’t say. 조승우❤️💞

… T.T!!! Will Shi-mok ever get to eat a meal in peace?! I feel so hangry on his behalf. Just when I thought he’d finally get to eat (onscreen at least!)! Is this going to be a running gag?

Aww Shi-mok. If you’d watch Oh Hae-young Again, you’d know 😂😆

shi-mok’s questions about love and relationships were just cute and he seemed so clueless.!!!..the expression on his face when she asked him about his first love was priceless

I’m digging this show too! The only downside is it actually requires me to think! Hahaha. I have found myself needing to go back and rewatch dialogue. Or maybe I am just tired. 😝

Same here! ? I keep rewinding and pausing to frown at the screen. For me it’s less for thinking, but mainly to catch the visual cues I missed, since I find the dialogue to be relatively sparse in this show, and also we don’t get to listen in to Shi-Mok’s thoughts as he thinks through everything. On the flip side, I think it’s really cool, since the show isn’t babying us. Lots of showing instead of telling! So exciting, except when I can’t figure things out xD Other than that, hi and nice to “meet” you, @umbrellaman!

It’s definitely not a bad thing!! I enjoy the subtleties this show has to offer, but it does require actual brain power. This is not a light and fluffy show.

The acting is stellar. Cho Seung-woo is able to get across so much with so little, it really amazes me. I love his character even though we know so little about him.

Captain Awesome? I read that already a few times now, is that his nickname? If so…..it fits. ^^

    1

Hehe, it was his nickname from the time he acted in God’s Gift – 14 Days! Because he was being a really awesome friend to Park Bo Yeong’s distraught mother character, searching for her missing daughter. And also because his acting was so, so awesome.

Why, Suspicious Partner, why. 😭 Why did it turn into OCN at the end of Episode 24 why. Why did you do this to him why. I didn’t catch up to Episode 24 to see this. I wanted more pink and fluffy! ?

Oh wow, Woon-gwang Oppa’s indecision sweater shows up again! 😆 Very befitting of another moment of indecision. Now instead of Buddhas vs 5 mil, it is heads vs tails – to be or not to be with Wookie!

Such a lovely visual metaphor, for a time of tête-à-tête. Yes, we may be “constituted to be that profound secret and mystery to every other”. But when we open up, the wisps of warmth are beautiful.

Who knows how many silent angels we may have, walking by our side and watching over us from afar, even if for just a while. The saddest thing is the background sign: 사람이 추억이다. People are memories. )’:

I was going to! But then I heard that it got messed up (angsty or something? draggy?) towards the end and I chickened out T.T

          1
          2

It’s only 13 episodes so I can’t say it’s draggy. It’s just that the episode 12 is something that’s not needed for me, what happened is supposedly that drama is only 12 episodes but election thing happened and one episode wasn’t aired on that said week so they had no choice but to do it 13 episodes but since it was pre-shoot they just did too many “memories” flashbacks and all which made episode 12 not a must-watch episode. But it’s a good one. The chemistry between the leads is on point!

@ahjbundpc Ahh I see! That’s great news! 😊 I can deal with one episode of flashbacks for 12 awesome ones for sure. Thanks so much for explaining! 😃 Great to be able to put another drama with potential on my to-watch list!
