Chris Wu as Hua Tuo Ye was adorable touching and such a good friend ! His love for Mu Cheng and loves ones was extraordinary. If a man could love me as much as him I would marry me. He gained a fan 🙂

        Don’t watch Perfect Match unless you want to be really really angry at him for a while. The first 15 or so episodes are really good but the last few are rage-inducing.

        But I liked him in Rock ‘n Road a lot. I’ve also heard that his mini-drama Love of Sandstorm is really good.

          Perfect Match was really strong for a long time. And then….the last 5 eps or so happened. And they were awful. Many a rant was had over the awfulness. Chris Wu knocked it out of the freaking park—but the writing and the plot all went way, way, way, way down hill.

          Like, I tried to watch a new Taiwanese drama over the weekend and my heart was like…remember Perfect Match,/i>? Lets just chill on the Taiwanese dramas for awhile…

          I’ve had enough of rage+inducing dramas so I’ll pass Perfect Match.
          I’m adding Rock ‘n Road and Love of Sandstorm to my to-watch list 🙂

            If you want to experience the rage second-hand check out my wall and @isa’s wall for some epic rants. We may have hate watched the end of the drama. I don’t know if that’s healthy but it certainly a thing one may do.

        There’s a Taiwanese war drama called A Touch of Green! And one of my favourites of his dramas is a really obscure drama by a hakka TV station called Long Day’s Journey into Light, totally worth the effort of finding it haha.
        Those two are tear-inducing though, so if you want something lighter I’ll recommend Rock Records in Love (滾石愛情故事)! Its a collection of short one-episode dramas based on classic songs from Rock Records, and he stars in the first episode with Rainie Yang I believe:)
        As you can see, a big Chris Wu fan HAHA

    I’ve only seen a couple of Taiwanese dramas so I’m not familiar with many Taiwanese actors and actresses. However, I do know Chris Wu! ….. He’s been quite good in the few things I’ve seen him in.

Autumn’s Concerto is a beautiful drama with realistic characters. I’m sad to say goodbye to Ren Guang Xi, Mu Cheng and cutie pie Xiao Le T__T Definitely one of my favorite drama <3

    Watched this a few years ago because I saw this being broadcasted in our local tv station and of course Vanness Wu 😍 (The meteor garden fever is still alive!! haha) I loved this drama!

    SLS actually didn’t happen for me with this one even when Tuo Ye was as sweet as a button to her :/ Maybe because my love for Van Ness is too big and too much lol 😂 Aw man, now I want to go back and rewatch this lol 😂

Finished Medical Examiner Dr. Qin a forensic chinese drama and loved it !
The female lead’s boyish style played by Jiao Jun Yan is perfect <3

I heard a remake of Rubi (the telenovela) is planned for this year. I don’t know if anyone can top Bárbara Mori’s portrayal of Rubi and she’s so beautiful !

        It was called Kites if I remember correctly.. I actually went to the cinemas to watch it for Hrithik Roshan but don’t remember liking it as much as I expected to! Are you from Latin America? I am learning Spanish so was actually looking at a few telenovelas available in the library and thinking of watching them..

          I only heard of it because my cousins are into Bollywood.
          I’m French actually but I’ve watched a good amount of telenovelas. Más sabe El diablo is mu favorite but it might be better to begin with classics like Amarte asi (Frijolito), Rubi, Da Cor do Pecado (quirky and memorable characters), Marina, Yo soy Betty la Fea.
          Marimar, Maria la del Barrio, Rosalinda have the same actress and are must-watch.

    Yes, she was pretty good as Rubi. I did not know they were making another remake. They did one a few years ago called Teresa.
