          “Juhan Shuttai!” is my favorite of his and a really good drama.

          It’s too bad that for many of his dramas and movies, he’s stuck as second lead, or the one who never gets the girl

            Oh, HE plays second lead?? I am a frequent victim of second lead syndrome so this makes me want to watch his shows even more. This apart from the fact that he is quite a looker😆

          He has gotten some main lead roles recently though. I haven’t checked out Juhan Shuttai!, so I can’t tell you whether he’s the main lead or not, but in The 100th Love with You, he’s the main lead and it’s a movie, so it’s a quick watch.
          The great thing about J-doramas is that they’re usually 10 episodes only, so you can check one out, and see if you like his acting.

            Ooooh I had watched Heroine Disqualified a long time back and liked the second lead but just didn’t remember him/ associate him with this GIF! Also didn’t remember the movie much because it was a late night- I have no kdramas so lets just find anything on kiss asian watch… The heroine was a little irritating but it was a good movie!

            On a side note, why are so many of Japanese heroines cast as those annoying Gum Jan Di (Boys over flowers) type candy characters? I would love to see a Japanese show with a strong, non- irritating heroine.. Not that I have seen a lot of Japanese movies/shows but the 6-7 I watched all had similar characters.. I would also like to know why Kento Yamazaki is in almost every Japanese thing I decide on watching after reading the summary!! 😛

          I think it’s slightly to do with the fact that these are mainly shoujo manga adaptations, so most of them have that overbearing, arrogant, tsundere male and weird, Candy female.

I also wish that Choi Jin Hyuk gets a good lead role after Tunnel, he’s a really good actor. I saw many of his dramas but after Tunnel i’ve became a fan, i can’t wait to his next project.

I’ve just finished Tunnel! what an emotional ending, i couldn’t be happier. Of course there are some unanswered questions but i think i can live without knowing them (well i’ll have to lol).
