      It’s a KBS drama special called The Legendary Shuttle – only 1 episode!. I love watching this whenever I need a pick-me-up. I highly recommend it!

Not much progress in terms of plot: was hoping that the pace would start picking up this episode and that some questions would be answered but I guess we\’re left hanging until next week.
On another note: IM JOOHWAN!! <3 Love him and his corny jokes. Super ecstatic that his character is starting to play a bigger role <3 <3 #BOTWGep4

    I do a dance whenever he’s on screen. “Im Joo-hwan you’re so fine. You’re so fine you blow my mind. Im Joo-hwan yeah!” Lol. But I really don’t want him to be a creep again. I want him to be a weirdo that likes corny jokes and has zero EQ.

Ok so, BOTWG ep3. Firstly, HOORAY! The plot is moving! (well, it\’s starting to move…hopefully they don\’t stall it in ep 4) Overall I\’m enjoying it (mostly admiring the pretty) but sometimes there are jerky scene changes and music choices that distracts me. Super happy to see Krystal and Gong Myung <3. I think my main complaint is that I can\'t take Yoon So Ah\'s father issue seriously. Maybe it\'s just me but the scene where she runs out of the house? I couldn\'t feel or see the angst at all…

    I agree about the jerky scenes. The scenes and story doesn’t flow naturally sometimes and it can be a bit jarring. The show also does a weird job of emphasizing certain scenes that I think are suppose to be important but I can’t be sure. Like when So-ah cuts her hand and they emphasize on the blood pouring out. I feel like it might be relevant to the story or they just want to emphasize how high/fast she’s falling?

      I’m thinking that it might have something to do with her blood being the key to activate his powers – because ‘fate’. If that’s the case though, I would be super irked because that was done SO NOT SUBTLY. There are much better ways to show that plot point than doing all those close ups and slow-mo’s.

        I was thinking that too but it’s really lame if all that Habaek needed was So-ah to basically have a paper cut to get his powers back 😒 I mean I was hoping there was more to it. The story is still pretty interesting though

        He was able to go through glass in water form without touching So-ah’s blood. It could be something else.

          That’s what I was thinking but what if she literally just had to bleed, no touching involved (which is what I’m calling lame). Rewatching the scene she’s definitely cut herself before he was able to turn in to water and go through the window

      Also I forgot to add that I agree with you about them emphasizing weird scenes that I felt were not so important. I often find myself distracted and pondering over why they’re putting so much emphasis on a particular scene when it doesn’t do much to move the plot…

    Interesting because that’s the most feels I’ve had for So-ah. I can imagine her having to deal with her Dad being too nice her whole life. Maybe she was enduring it because at least, Dad is still with them. But when he left, it could have been the final straw for her. I thought the directing was well done too with the taxi-bridge scenes.

      That was my favourite scene in the episode. The way she looks out the window at her past self crouched on the bridge while she was in colour and her past self was in black and white really touched my heart. It was almost like she wanted to reach out and comfort the girl she used to be.

      For me, logically, I could get where she’s coming from. She finally broke down after enduring all those years of her father putting others before his family. However, I just couldn’t see or feel her angst in the scene where she ran out of the house and ‘chased’ after the taxi. It’s just that, to me, the way she was running didn’t depict her desperateness.
      On the other other hand, I agree with the taxi-bridge scene. I really liked the directing in that scene. I was mainly referring to the ‘running out of house’ scene. 🙂

Today\’s episode was just filled with fluff. I don\’t HATE it but I want the story to MOVEEE
I\’m just happy that I\’m seeing more of MC Drill. Hopefully he appears more in future episodes. >< #thebesthit21&22

Also, anyone else cringing at some of the lines delivered by Habaek? Cheesy lines are common in kdramas but cheesy lines + awkward delivery make me cringe. #BOTWG #andcheesylinesaremyguiltypleasurestoo
