The whole fate + death of the bride thing reminds me a little of Goblin but I am NOT going to compare the two shows as they are actually quite different and this plot is rather common. I just hope they don’t pull the ‘someone must die for the other to live’ storyline. #BOTWG
After watching ep 2, I’m having a better impression of BOTWG. Humor has improved and is less jarring. A little disappointed that other second leads didn’t make an appearance as I’m enjoying Im Joo Hwan’s parts the most. NJH’s acting is indeed green but I’m just going to take it as part of Habaeks awkward and stoic character. Looking forward to second lead appearances in future episodes!
Same. They appeared briefly in the teaser for ep2 so I was looking forward to their appearance… Hopefully they will appear in ep3. I want to at least watch their performances before deciding if I will continue watching this show. So far, from the ep3 teaser, Krystal’s character seems a little generic. But she was only shown for a couple of seconds so I shouldn’t jump to conclusions too quickly.

The moment I found out about the Song-Song news the first thing that came to mind was that fellow beanies would be shocked like me. Checked fanwall and was not disappointed. #congrats! #unexpected

I will reserve my comments about the show until I’ve watched ep 2 but for now I just have to say that the humor is SUUPER forced….it felt really awkward because I didn’t find it funny when they were obviously aiming for it to be funny. Maybe it was just not my kind of humor? :/
Feel exactly the same. It felt so awkward and cringey for me. The comedic scenes were forced in my opinion and fish out of water funny scenes felt too boring as I felt I had seen this all before. I do not know really, I am giving it a second chance with the next episode but I am preparing to drop it.
I’ve seen a lot of people that have them for emergencies. Maybe she had gotten in a situation like that before and had to walk to a gas station and buy a gas can to fill up her car and simply left the empty can in the trunk afterwards. Yeah, the clothes, hair, even the plot with the magic stones makes you emperor or something! Fantasy C-drama are a guilty pleasure of mine, so that’s probably why I liked BOTWG right away.
I really hope the future episodes focus more on family and friendship because that’s what I’ve loving at the moment in #thebesthit. I’m tired of the completely unnecessary damsel in distress trope…
Tbh I’m actually more emotionally invested in Gwang-Jae’s love line rather than the love triangle. I’m rooting for you mister!! FIGHTING!

*CRIES* Is it so bad to want a happy ending for the twins? What have they done to deserve this? But yeah, I really do must prepare myself for further heartbreaks. And I knew Park Donggun is shady but I definitely didn’t expect him to be that shady when I started this show. And Professor Han getting a taste of his own medicine and being the one subjected to the experiments. Gosh.
Halfway through the show, I was actually expecting him to kill Professor Han and take over his project. But the moment I found that that he was kept alive and subjected to experimental testing….GOOSEBUMPS
SO ETHICALLY EVIL – It’s great!
IKR, it’s amazing! I totally didn’t expect him to go to that level of evil. And he merely gave villain’s side-kick vibes earlier on so I wasn’t too wary of him, and to actually see him reach this low, was wow. The writers are really great for always giving me surprises everytime.
I did hear it and I’m just on delulu-mode choosing to ignore it 😂. But seriously though, he can’t be really dead though, right? Or at least his presence is still somehow there, like even if not 100%? Right? Right?? 😢
I’m hoping that he’s not DEAD dead and instead in a coma or something. Or maybe his memories got modified and he took on an entirely different identity or something.
Theories going around this time is that he is the system behind Human B, its supercomputer or something. D: If Park Donggun didn’t hesitate to experiment on Professor Han, I’m sure he won’t think twice to do something worse to Woojin.
