    I love when subbers start their own commentary. I don’t remember her name, but there’s one that translates lyrics over k-pop live performances and her commentary is hilarious, mostly cause it represents all us fangirls. lol

It has been amusing to read some Beanies commenting on how “ungood looking” Lee Jong-seok is. More than “ungood looking”, in Dramaland I believe “untall” is even more of a handicap.

    I didn’t feel ‘untall’ as a handicap until The King Loves. I had thought that Im Si Wan has more perfect features than Hong Jong Hyun but in the drama, Si Wan sometimes look like a petulant kid among Yoona and HJH.

      Idols shorter than 180cm is probably less of an issue since they also need to be good at dancing, singing, and have great stage presence. Talented idol actors like Si Wan and D.O. probably all have to compete harder due to their shorter stature especially now younger generation of actors are all extremely tall. It is interesting though that Si Wan keep getting paired with taller actresses like Kang So-ra and Yoona.

    But then again you have the Let’s Eat/Drinking Solo characters. lol I don’t think the tsundere male will ever die, but it is cool to see more nice guys as leads and not just the pining second lead.

      I forgot about Drinking Solo. Yes, Ha Seok-Jin’s character was pretty much a jerk all the way to the end.

      I suppose Sung-min is a little bit of a tsundere but he is never mean, rude or acting douchy toward Ji-won. Despite his terseness, we can all see he is attentive and caring toward her, and gosh, his exasperation toward her antics are so fun to watch!

      This idea mainly is motivated by wanting to see two of my favorites back on the screen again with a project by an capable PD. I adore the Kim Soo-hyun’s noona crush in the The Producers and I would love to see Gong Hyo-jin being the pretty noona in the main loveline. Also I think both Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Hyun-woo will totally get us aboard the ship since they are both such wonderful actors oozing charisma and chemistry!
