Watching the latest episode of Suspicious Partner followed by Seven Day Queen….aishhhh….my heart got torn out, thrown in fire, pulled to shreds, and then trampled on. Lord have mercy!
The Best Hit’s animal costume scene reminds me of the brilliant skit of Bruno Mar’s Sad Mouse on Saturday Night Live with the same mix of hilarity and melancholy: “What if they don’t wave back?”
Wow, I cannot believe the soundtrack of \”The Liar and His Lover\” continues to rock my world after listening to it incessantly and obsessively for the last couple months.
Very addictive and invoke so much feels. I am not exaggerating that it was when I listened to Joy sing “I Am Okay” in ep 2 that the show got me hooked line and sinker. I am not even a kpop fan or music lover!
Love that so far that the # of comments of 7DQ is almost on par with SP! I think the enthusiastic commenting of both (along with other excellent posts) is testing the limit of Dramabeans\’ server.
Seven Day Queen fills my heart and quenches my soul. It is just such a beautiful story imaginatively told. Yeon Woo-jin, you are already breaking my heart and I fully embrace it.
Loving 7 Day Queen and feeling inspired to watch more saeguks, should I watch 6 Flying Dragons or Tree w/ Deep Roots 1st? Should I follow the chronological order of history or production date?
I’m usually not a fan of english in a sageuk ost, but something about this song and this drama…they just fit seamlessly! It gets me excited for what’s to come, instead of dreading the tragedy! I’m loving it all so far too. I was already replaying the first ost this whole week and I’ll probably do the same with this one!
I agree with everything you said! Both OST1 and 2 have made it to my daily playlist. I am not usually into melodrama (cannot handle too much sobbing and excessive angst) but so far I love how the writer is developing the plot and building a world full of delightful moments and wonderful characterizations.
Stopped watching Tunnel after E10 when the writer decided to ruin the character of a cool-headed and intelligent heroine who acted on a completely thoughtless plan to draw out a serial murderer. WAE?
I will give it another try! It is just so frustrating to see her character becoming the damsel in distress while endangering others’ lives. It feels like this is purely for the service to propel the plot since it is completely opposite of how her character has been portrayed before this incident.
I cannot seem to find the right time to watch “Let’s Eat 2” -watching it spikes my hunger and makes me want to eat, and watching it while eating makes me want to eat what they are eating.
I am loving Lookout’s OST by Damiano. Kim Seul-gi and Key have great bickering dynamics in the show. Would they please have dance practice MV to this song?

Commenting on Ji-wook and Bong-hee both being noble idiots promoted me to be one in Dramabeans. Well done, Kdrama style cosmic retribution!
