I honestly don’t want to be cured from my k-drama addict but it’s getting harder to find subs lately 😭. I appreciate the recaps very much but I also like to watch the show first. Aigoo, what to do?
Fingers and toes crossed. Yes it would be the first if it wins.
It’s still showing 4 times a day at the University theatre here. Impressive for a foreign film.
Both are very prestigious. But, the Academy Awards are US based, so as you say the international Cannes Film Festival offers a much larger range of awards to win than just Best Foreign Language. I am hoping to get a chance to see it before it leaves theatres. If it does get nominated I will look forward to the Oscars even more than I do now!! 😬
I have worked hard all life to be unknown yet yet random people who shouldnt know me somehow have the impression I do every job in this town, also know my mobile and home number and the name of my granny?
“The Good Doctor” American remake. Premiere date: September 25.
Freddie Highmore 💗 Definitely tuning in. I have a feeling it’s going to be really good.
This does have more promise than the little bit I’ve seen of the God’s gift remake. I liked Freddy Highmore in Bates Motel. I hope that the American remake will find a way to keep the “heart” of the original. I’m not a fan of medical dramas, but I might check this out. I’m thinking about the strong sibling bond in the original and of that special cameo by Ryeo Deok-hwan.
Freddy is talented, I’ve seen a few of his films. I don’t know about Seth Gordon (director) but David Shore (exe producer/writer) from “House” is my biggest draw.
There seems to be sibling bonding but from flashback :(.
How I wish the parking rate at Los Angeles International were only £55 ($71 US) a week! ….. Parking at LAX is $30 (£23) for a whole day. This is at any of the main lots inside the airport. In a week this would be a grand total of $497 (£384)!
Yeah, can you believe it? And if going to and being in that airport was such a relaxing treat, I could maybe try to justify the price. But no, it’s not. It’s stressful from beginning to end. ….. They’re going through a major remodel right now, they may or may not be done I don’t know, the thing is that airport needs to be bigger but they can’t make it bigger because there’s no more room to grow! When they’re done with all the new construction, I wouldn’t be surprised if the parking fee is increased to $50.
Good decision on your part regarding arriving at one of the smaller airports!
Yeah, not sure how accurate this graph is (SFO is $25/day (£19) for long-term) But interesting thought. That’s why I always have someone drop me off. I ain’t paying that!!!!!

Green tea, mango, strawberry and vanilla. The individual portion is small enough for a snack :).
