Turkish historical romance drama series: “Resurrection Ertugrul” (Dirilis Ertugrul).
Had to pause a few times and read up on the history. Fascinating 👍👍.

I love historical epic series from any country. I didn’t know Turkish historical series were this good! I was hooked from the very first episode.
I just found it on Netflix and I’m still at the beginning of Season 1.
I’m reading a little bit about the history while watching the show at the same time. Both are intriguing!
When I’m done with this I’ll look for more. I’m excited to learn more about Turkey, it’s culture and people through their history.
Turkish dramas overall are really good and they are great in making historicals. I guess I have seen Dirilis a bit but my favorite till date remains “Muhtesem Yuzyil”though I am not sure if its on Netflix. I guess the first episode is subbed don’t know about the rest since it was dubbed in my language. However, I hope you get to see that one too, it is great. And I hope you are liking the music too, Turkish dramas have some great instrumentals. If you would like to branch away from historicals then I can recommend some other shows too.
Thank you! if “Muhtesem Yuzyil” = “Magnificent Century” then subs is available. So excited to watch it after this.
I’ll probably bug you for more in the future 🙂.
My baby Kim Hyang-gi and her A list co-stars of the fantasy film “Along With The Gods.” So happy that she is in a film with Ha Jung-woo.
Release date for Part 1: December 20.
Love watching Maangchi cook but these chapssal doughnut balls will take hours to make.
It’ll take me 15mins and $5.00 to run to the Korean store and buy some.
Yay for “A Taxi Driver” with 10,352,747 tickets sold and still going strong. It’s definitely going to surpass “Train to Busan.”
This is Song Kang-ho’s 3rd movie to surpass the 10 million admissions 👍🏻🙆
Making Mini Kimbap today since nothing in dramaland interest me.
Love this girl and her “Asian at hoooome” cooking. I’m going to add avocado and ditch the sauce. It’s tasty enough without it. mmmmmm

Did you see my kdrama premise with Park bo young, him, PBG, and Gong Yoo all in a movie or kdrama together? Impossible, but fun to conjecture!
