It’s a long weekend for me (finally!), I’ve got nothing to watch and I’m thinking on whether to start on The Best Hit… Any views?

    Ohh you should!! It is sooooo good and soo very funny! I envy your new binge-watching Best Hit! I dont have any more new episodes of it left to watch.. till next Friday . Sigh

        My sassy girl was trying too hard.. even i dropped after 2 episodes.. the princess was way too obnoxious for me to digest although her character is meant to be.

        FMW.. well friends to lovers is my catnip so I cant help but watch it 😀
        Best Hit is definitely more funny than these too.. it’s more like a series of gaffe set ups with a storyline.. it’s a comedy rather than a drama u know?

          Agree. The princess is too obnoxious for my taste. Actually I do not like such lead gal’s personality but tried it out for the sake of Joo Won. Haha. As for FMW, friends to lovers is not my catnip, so …..

        As for The Best Hit, go ahead and start! One of the funnier shows airing now! Yoon Shi Yoon is a gem haha

Only following on Circle and Lookout which excited me. The rest of the ongoing kdrama are mostly just meh to me. I think I’m halfway in a kdrama slump.

    Me too. Dropped Fight My Way and The Best Hit. I’m loving Circle and Lookout so much and I’m only watching Suspicious Partner because the leads are super cute and I want to see how they catch the killer.

        The plot is kinda dragging right now, but I’m watching because Nam Ji-hyun and Ji Chang-wook are super adorable. I just tune out the parts where they’re not being lovey-dovey or the law firm family isn’t on screen. Even the killer bores me now and I just want to see how they catch him and why he’s killing those people.

Tried My Beautiful Bride but it’s so bored that I’ve dropped it after epi 4 and even the finale is boring to me. Oh why ?? What else can I watch ??

      Yeah I love mystery and crime but some dramas e.g. My Beautiful Bride is kinda boring. Even the lead actress Lee Si Young is kinda underutilized in this drama. The mystery doesn’t grips me like some other drama.

        Lee Si Young was completrly wasted, and the mistery felt forced. I didn’t even see any brilliant acting that I had heard so much about.

Because of Kim Young Kwang, I’ve been watching his past works recently. Done with D-day, n a few of his web dramas and also Stranger Living In The House (last two epi – I’ve dropped it the other time)

      It is awesome. Recommended in my opinion. I was addicted to it right from epi 1 to 2 and binge watched on it !!

      He’s good in Stranger In The House but the plot seemed to go a big merry-go-round that I’ve dropped it halfway so I just skipped and went to watching the last two epi. Oh yes, Gogh’s Starry Night is great ! I love it 💘💕💖

        so when i start watching stranger in the house, i drop it halfway and skip to the last two episodes (and read recaps for the skipped episodes) got it 😉 i prefer binging so i am just waiting for lookout to end 🙂

          Yup that’s what I did for Stranger In The House cos it start to get draggy. The plot is like going nowhere in the middle of it so I skipped it and decide to watch the last 2 epi. I’m following on Lookout every week now. It’s good so far.

I think I prefer medical dramas rather than legal ones, the latter bores me out more often *Zzz*….my first choice is still crime/detective though…..

The villains in Kdramaland, 90% is always Chief Prosecutor, Police Chief, some CEOs, Director of some hospitals, Prof, and 99% of the politicians there….from my a couple of years of Kdrama-ing…

    Perhaps this is a reflection of how the current Korean public views those in power. After all art imitating life is as at least as old as Aristotle’s Poetics where he talks about how to write fiction.

Every first ‘table death’ of our hero or heroine surgeon in every korean medical drama always bring on a period of depression for them 😞 I wish that they don’t have to go through this adversity …

    I can tell you the first death for a newbie doctor, be it in the Operating Room or in Hospitalization is hard to accept and then on top of that having to inform the family of the deceased is like the 9th circle of hell

      Yeah it seemed to happen in almost every medical kdrama. Sad for them really. They are doctors/surgeons and not God afterall.

D-day episode 14 : I think the Director of Mirae Hospital has gone from being villainous to insanely villainous. I’m glad to see Professor Han still having some conscience in him.

      As compared to Descendants of the Sun, I think the disaster (earthquake) is not as horrible as the one in D-Day…at least the victims and rescue team and medical staff in DOTS have better meals than the ones in D-Day….and they don’t run out of electricity, medical supplies (blood, medicine), water to put out various fires etc….they have more sleep than them too…they can bathe and don’t smell after a few days of being unable to bathe and brush their teeth etc….the situation in D-Day is much more horrible really !!!

      Oh ya you may be right ! E.g. when ppl in kdrama are scared/shocked by another person they would say something like “you nearly caused me to have a miscarriage!” 😉

Loving Lookout and Circle now! Duel is average for me right now. Binged watch \”D-day\” for nearly 10 over episodes for the last 2 days sacrificing my sleep. It is awesome and highly recommended ! 👍👍

        I watched Secret of Forest and fell asleep for the 2 episodes !! and it’s more than 1 hour per epi, I felt the time going by so slowly and I impatiently kept checking the time but it moved like a turtle when I’m watching it and I ended up dozing off…..(I don’t do that for my fav shows !)

    All the lead actors and actresses are so awesome in Circle ! An emotionless alien in 2007, a happy uni student in 2017 and a cool mysterious hacker in 2037 (all by our female lead who is the ageless alien !!)
