Beanie level: Errand boy

Surprise! Another Wednesday post! 😅 Bear with me, guys, I still have like a few more photo sets to share of the cuteness that is Jin Ki-joo and Hongbin.

Here’s one of the two watching an adult movie together. 😆

Before I even knew who Lee Seung-gi and Nam Sang-mi was. 😭 This MV gets me EVERY TIME. If you want something short, sweet, with a dash of heartbreak, then this is it. The feels! His hair! Lol.

11

The wig reminds me of LJS in Pinocchio. Choi! Dal! Po!

    3
    1

What!? It’s not a wig! Haha. Is it? *goes back to check* I actually think it’s real! Just figured since it’s old, he naturally had that classic bowl cut. Haha. As for Dal-po, omg. THAT wig was surely horrendous.

Omg this was Lee Seung-gi?! I’ve seen this MV long time ago but I didn’t recognize him…

    1
    2

Yes! It’s him! Haha. You’ve seen it long ago, too? I remember most likely watching it before I was deeply into K-dramas, so had no clue who these people were, but thought it was so darn sad.

      1
      0

Me too!! I didn’t know much about k-dramas but this mv was so sad I watched it many times & felt sorry for the guy(now LSG) & contemplated deeply about school bullying & stuff lol.

      1
      2

& contemplated deeply about school bullying & stuff
Lol! Aw! Haha. This was definitely so heartbreaking and I thought that one of ’em were gonna die, but luckily, none of them did and hopefully even ends up happy together.

        1

Haha I tend to take movies & shows very seriously 😅😅😅

Seung-Gi Oppa! So cute 😍😍😍 But seriously, that HAIR! At one point I thought he was wearing a beanie, but no, it was just his hair 😮

    1
    1

Ikr!? That cute bowl cut and gah, just, I miss you, oppa! When’s he coming back again? In September?
Ahaha! It’s his hair! The classic bowl cut. Everyone went through that bowl cut phase.

      1
      0

Totally expecting heartbreak, was so happy about the ending. Thanks for a good watch!

    1
    1

Aw, haha. Ikr? Was expecting one of ’em to die, but luckily, they got off easy. I’m okay w/ that! Wouldn’t be able to handle it if Seung-gi oppa died. Huhuhu~ I’m glad you enjoyed it! You’re very welcome!

Jammin’ to this. Brownie points to whoever can guess what drama this song is from! It’s such a cheesy, but beautiful song, but it’s so hard to listen to it w/o laughing, thinking about this classic K-drama scene. Hit “REPLY” w/ an answer before you check the comments!

    LOL. 😂 Iconic. 👌🏼

      Didja get it right?

The scene with the pig, oh my God I laughed so hard. I knew this song before I even started watching K-dramas and I chortled when the song was played.

      1
      1

Oh, did you? Haha! That makes it EXTRA funny, then! But yes, the crazy pig chase. Omg. The old man waving to warn Tae-kyung of the wild boar was my favorite part. Tae-kyung was all like, “People here are so nice, waving to strangers,” and how he kept waving back! ??? It’s legendary.

I wish there was a longer gif of this.

      1
      1

Me too! You want me to make you another one w/ another part of this scene? I actually had to make that one, myself, because I couldn’t find one. I just wanted to use the beginning part of him swaying to the music because it matches w/ the video. Haha.

        1
        3

          Really? Yay!!! Pretty, please! 🙏🏻

          1
          1

Aw, haha. Sure thing! What part would you like me to gif? The waving? The pig chase?

            1
            0

How long can a gif be? Can you do the first 30 seconds?

          0
          1

However long you want… if you’re using photoshop or maybe another gif-making program. 😬 Heh. Sorry, I use Giphy (love it), and the max is only 10 seconds.

            1
            0

Oh, i have giphy too! Let me see if i can do it. ?🏻

    You’re beautiful!!!

    1

      YES!!!

      1
      1

And I didn’t cheat! I really knew within the first few seconds of the song!

        1
        2

Aw, yay! I’m proud of you! It’s such a memorable scene, so I’m sure if you’ve seen the drama, then hear this song, your mind will go back to that scene. Haha. Brownie points for you! 👍🏼

It was freaking hilarious!!! JGS is just soooo into it that it makes me LOL. I kinda wanna see BTS footage but can’t find any.

            1
            0

Yes, so so funny! Aw, if I ever find it, I’ll try to remember to share it w/ you!

LOL! His face at the end. Omg, I wanted to check out Moorim School for Hongbin because he was cute in Wednesday 3:30pm, but I actually quite like it so far. It’s a solid cast (Lee Hyun-woo!) and I’m interested to find out how Moorim Institute will help these characters grow. As for Hongbin, idk if it’s because I still have his Wednesday image in my mind, but I find him cute and dorky here, too.

    What episode are you on?
    Was/is Wednesday 3:30PM any good?

    1
    1

Just finished ep 2, going on to ep 3! Have you watched it?

I pulled an all-nighter watching Wednesday! Omg. It was good! Really cute, sweet, and a lot of fluff. Don’t expect too much and there are a lot of cliches and plot holes, but it’s really just a good drama to sit back and relax to, nothing to think too much about. The two main leads are ADORABLE and their dimply smiles will make you melt. I’ve posted a bunch of Wednesday stuff on my wall, so you can check it out, but be careful, you might get spoiled. Lemme know if you check it out. 🙂

      2
      1

Thanks for spoiler free info 😀. I’ll add the show to my ridiculously long “to watch” list. I kinda need a cute drama atm, so it might get bumped up a lot. Intending to watch Chief Kim next.

        1
        2

          My pleasure! I gotchu. 😉👍🏼

Aha, I know what you mean about That List. I’ve got one, too. 😆
Ooh, if a cute drama is what you need, then Wednesday is kinda perfect! 👍🏼 The best part about the drama is it’s only 10 eps, w/ each ep being only 20-25 mins. It’s an easy watch.

Yeah, I should check out Chief Kim, too, to show Namgoong Min some love.

          2
          1

Wow! Since it’s so short, I’m pretty sure I’ll watch it sometime next week then.

Any other super cute dramas you’re watching?

            1
            0

          Sounds like a plan! 😀👍🏼

Not at the moment, no. I’m only watching Moorim rn, but I’ve seen a ton of cute dramas in the past, though. But you’ve probably seen them, too, if they’re older. Have you watched Ma Boy? It’s a nice twist on the classic gender bender theme. It’s also a short ‘n’ cute drama. There’s also the more recent Three Color Fantastic short dramas (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Color_Fantasy). I’ve only watched 1 1/2 (I never finished the second one w/ Kim Seul-gi. Just watched the one w/ Yoon Shi-yoon). They’re supposed to be short ‘n’ sweet, too, but I can’t really vouch for ’em because I haven’t seen ’em all! I’ll watch more shorts and I’ll be sure to post about ’em here, so look forward to that? I’ll try to reach out to you if I remember. 🙂

Oh btw, he’s calling her Ariel because she saved him from drowning in the ocean. He’s been calling her Mermaid, but she keeps correcting his pronunciation, so he just decided to call her Ariel, instead. Lawl. The boy. Smh. *plays the The Ting Tings’ That’s Not My Name*

This drama is such a cute and easy drama to watch. I enjoyed it immensely.

    4
    1

Oh? That was nice and surprising, since I’ve seen a lot of comments saying otherwise. But that’s great! I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed it so much! I’m finishing up ep 3, and I, too, find it an easy watch, so let’s hope it stays that way!

Absolutely loving Wednesday 3:30pm! 😄 Thank you for recommending it!

I couldn’t help myself. I said I would stop, but I just finished it. 😅

        1
        1

I know what you mean! I pulled an all-nighter w/ that one, myself, so I feel you. 👌🏼😄 it’s just SUCH an easy watch!

          0

Oh Moorim School hahaha. What a ride. My friend and I watched this very sporadically over like, and entire year…
I loved both the female leads, they were fantastic, they seemed to get all the good dialogue… could never warm to Hongbin’s character very much, and his char development was ugh, kinda all over the place. It drags a LOT towards the end, and the writing is kinda horrible and slow in places… and I found the last episode really boring. My friend made exponentially smaller paper cranes and I spouted sarcastic commentary to get us through it haha.
But Lee Hyun Woo is a great kisser.
AND I STILL HAVE THIS ONE BACKING TRACK SONG STUCK IN MY HEAD AND I CAN’T FIND IT ANYWHERE ARGH

    3
    1

Lol! It took you and your friend an entire year to finish it? Well, at least you finished it. I can imagine you guys doing all sorts of things every time you watch it. Ahaha, you and me should watch a K-drama together, then, because I’m almost always spouting commentary when I watch a show. I crack myself up.

Anyways, I really like both female leads, too. I love Seo Ye-ji’s speaking voice, so I love hearing her talk. Haha. She reminds me of a younger Jung Ryeo-won, who’s also one of my faves. But I think they look and sound similar.

What? I love Hongbin’s character because he’s so darn dorky and cute. Or maybe it’s the Wednesday 3:30 PM role of his that’s still stuck in my mind…

Oh dear, thanks for the heads up about what’s to come. I’ll have to watch and see for myself because I’m only on ep 5 now and so far, so good, so I’ve been hoping it stays that way, but we’ll see.

Hehehe, is he a great kisser??? Kyyyyyaaaaa~! I think Seo Ye-ji’s a good kisser because I saw her in Potato Star and she kissed the heck outta Julien Kang. Haha. She lost interest and dumped him because he was too tall and fit, or something. Lawl.

I’M SORRY BUT I DON’T KNOW WHAT SONG YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT SO I CAN’T LOOK OUT FOR IT FOR YOU BUT MAYBE IF YOU SING IT HAHA

      1
      1

Despite living across the road from each other, yes! Idk sometimes we didn’t feel like watching it so we’d watch Korean movies or anime instead, and sometimes we’d miss each other for weeks… or we’d just binge watch dance practices, it was an interesting watch! haha
I spout commentary, but I seem to do it more when I watch Kdramas with other people, it’s weird.
I loved Ye Ji in it, she was my favourite, I thought she did really well despite everything else I didn’t like about it. I want to see what else shes in because I think she’s actually a pretty good actress. And she’s so stunning too. Both of them are <3 Girl power, all the way.
I knowww imsorrrreee… maybe it was just later on idk… the start is a long time ago, and, confession, I actually skipped about 4 episodes at the start cos I got bored… which is weird because that seems to be the fluffiest episodes haha.
Yeah, do bear in mind that I have quite strong opinions about dramas and I'm super hard to please so just because I found faults with it, you might like the whole thing and that's fine! haha

Oh boy, he's a fantastic kisser. A+ hands and hand placement too yis yis.

THAT'S OK I KNOW IT'S A WEIRD THING TO MENTION
IDK IT'S IN THE BACKGROUND AND IT GOES LIKE
'aiiyyyii aiyi aii ai^ ai ai ai ai aii ai ai ai ai'… that's probably not helpful haha. I'll try find a clip with it in it. That is not spoilers.

        1
        8

Aha, I was actually wondering if y’all lived near or far from each other.

And I totally know what you mean because I have a (bad?) habit of making comments about what I’m watching if I’m watching it with someone, too. But I also talk to myself a lot if I’m watching solo, so I’m all over the place.

Yeah, I think she’s pretty and a pretty good actress, too. I said this already, but I really like her speaking voice. That’s my favorite part about her. 😅 Oh! You know she’s gonna be in the upcoming OCN drama, Rescue Me with Taecyeon, right? It looks super creepy already, but I’m watching it for her! And for the creepy, ngl.

Gotcha! I’ll keep all of that in mind. For now, I’ll just watch and we’ll see how it goes.

OH BOY, CAN’T WAIT FOR LEE HYUN-WOO’S KISSES, HEHEHE! I love a good, passionate kiss in a K-drama. Mhm!

Is it the main theme song? By VIXX? Probably not. You would’ve known if it was that. Well, will be listening for anything “aiiyyyii aiyi ai ai ai ai ai.” Haha.

          1
          1

I guess because I usually watch dramas on my own, I just behave differently when I’m with someone. Like I was watching SP with my friend who had never seen Kdrama before so I found I felt I had to explain things, and then sometimes watching with a fellow Kdrama friend it can be awkward??

She’s got a very unique voice, it’s kinda low and husky and gorgeous.
Ooooh no I did not! I will look it up! She was in Hwarang, she was ok in that, but I think the whole thing suffered from weak writing tbh, so her character wasn’t as great as it could’ve been.

Hehehe. Not gonna lie, might’ve rewatched them a few *ahem* times…

No it wasn’t the main theme song and it’s not on the OST either. Which means it’s just a backing track the sound editor chose.
Like the Chinese version of Dream by the Cranberries that was in Shopping King Louis and the German Opera stuff that was in all the fight scenes in the K2…

CHECK OUT THE NEW DB ARTICLE ABOUT SEO YE-JI’S NEW DRAMA! I gave you a shout-out. Haha.

My sisters and I sometimes watch K-dramas together. It used to be our thing, but they don’t really stick around for the entire ep/show anymore. Traitors. Haha. But I love watching K-dramas w/ others. I also love recommending my fave shows and if they end up loving it, then I’m like, “now let me watch it with you.” Haha.

“Unique, low, husky, and gorgeous” is the perfect description! Yes!

Ah, I see… will still try to find it for you! Ooh, I love that song! Both versions. <3 I still need to watch Chungking Express.

          1
          1

I SAW AND FOUND THANK YOU

Hee I’ve given my sister Healer to watch… dunno if she has yet though. And I got my mum to watch Page Turner. That’s about it family wise.
My friend, let’s call her M for now, we’re gonna watch Liar and His Lover together hopefully and I am looking forward to that (She’s LHW bias haha)

            Ahh thank you!
Same! Ah that’s right, that’s the movie the original Chinese version was from wasn’t it yes. I haven’t seen it either haha.

            1
            0

Oh yeah, I need to add Healer to my list of dramas to watch. I watched a little bit of it, but dropped it for some reason. Probably laziness.
Y’know, A LOT of Beanies LOVE and rave about Page Turner, but I thought it was just alright. I also remember not really being satisfied w/ the ending.
My mom JUST finished Ruler, which is coincidentally also a Kim So-hyun drama. Haha.

Omg, the Liar craze here on DB was crazy. Beanies love that show! And Weightlifting Fairy! Watching w/ a buddy is gonna be extra fun! Lemme know how you like the drama.

          1
          1

Healer is my favourite all time drama so I wanna hype it for you but I also know people who don’t like it that much so I will just let you watch it yourself haha.
Page Turner I personally really liked, and I got my mother to watch it cos I knew it was the style that she would like. But we were both a little unsatisfied with the ending at first too, don’t worry haha.
Yeah I haven’t given my mum a full length drama yet. I’ve got to find the right one. 😛

I knooooooooow. And I missed it. Because I was travelling so I couldn’t live watch haha.
WLFKBJ is beautiful and I love it.

            1
            0

Oh wow, Healer is your all time fave? Haha, well, when I finally pick it back up again, you’ll know. 😉

Yeah, my sisters and I were all dissatisfied with Page Turner‘s ending, but everyone raved about the entire show on here, so I was like, “just me, then?” Ha.
          Ooh~ I wonder what your mama’s first full-length drama’s gonna be!

Aw, well, at least you were able to travel to so many places! I think I wouldn’t mind missing out on a couple shows if I could travel the world.

          1
          2

At the moment, yes hahaha. Woooot! I’ll probably rewatch it for the fourth time when that happens 😛

I thought it was a clever little thing. And the ending was a bit cut short, but the more I think about it the more I’m like ‘no it told everything it needed to and was trying to tell’ and it was only 3 eps long. Just my thoughts though.
Oh I’ll let you know when it happens! That’s for sure! haha I’m thinking maybe a 12 episode one hmmm

Heheheh yes! Exactly! And I whined on hear but I didn’t really mind. More minded misses potential beanie conversations but I’m having those anyway 😛

            1
            0

I also didn’t really follow the hype of PT on here. I just saw it rated highly in the ratings posts and so put it on my to-watch list haha

            1
            0

Hahaha, omg! You’ve watched it THREE times already!? Smh… 😏

You have a good point, it really was only three eps. I should cut it some slack, but I think it was really the intense love and reception for it that got me kinda confused because I thought it was just okay. Nothing spectacular. ANYWAYS…

Hmm… 12 eps… hmm… yeah, please just let me know what you find for her.

          1
          1

… well it IS my favourite. And technically it’s twice and16/20 episodes but close enough to three hahaha

Yeah well it’s similar with Healer and anything that gets hype, it can get blown out of proportion and for people who don’t get sucked into it cos it’s not there thing that makes total sense dw. I think if I’d been around to live watch Healer it might be different, who knows. I’m getting sidetracked woops.

            I will! Not to worry.

            1
            0

          U rite.
I think the amount of times I’ve re-watched Goblin scenes adds up to me watching it a couple times. Haha. Gotta actually re-watch it from beginning to end one of these days.
And you’ve never even watched Goblin, did you? I kinda remember we talked about this before.

You’re totally right about that! That’s why I always try to find out for myself to see what the hype is all about.

          1
          1

Hahaha see, we all have that one show.
And nope, I missed the Goblin train. Kinda on purpose. And yes we’ve talked about it before haha. Everyone gets shocked when I say I didn’t watch Goblin hahaha

            1
            0

One day? C’mon, you gotta watch it!

          1
          1

            We already discussed this also.
Idk. Maybe. I really like Yoo In Ah as an actress, so I might watch it for her and bickering bromance scenes. But the episodes are sooo looooong and I know what happens at the eeeeend… so
            hence, I dunno. Maybe.

            1
            0

Oops. Sawwwry~ 😅 I forgot… Okay, you watch it when you wanna. Maybe it can be one of our future projects! I wouldn’t mind re-watching it. Haha.

Oh, and this also happened in eps 1&2. I’m expecting to see these guys shirtless in all the eps now. Bring it on!

It’s only ep 2, but I’m lovin’ all the times the girls are saving the boys.

18
3

Oh! I had such high expectations from this one.. but it sorta just fizzled out after a few episodes… though I couldn’t stop hoping it would get better and watched till the end 🙁

    1
    1

Oh noes! Eh, I remember coming across a lot of not-so-great reviews about this one, so I kinda knew it wasn’t the best drama, but idk, I’m liking it so far (on ep 3 now), so I’m hoping it won’t lose me because I’m kinda going in w/ NO expectations. Haha. Kudos to you for sticking w/ it! Don’t give me details, but was it worth it? Sticking through till the end?

      8
      1

I think if I had watched it 5 years ago I may have liked it.. but these days I prefer proper plot resolutions and this one had a very random hurried explanation.. the whole levelling up by training bit for which we watch these shows was nice but left room for soo much! For instance the main guy suddenly gets his power and control .. while the strong girl who has been saving them all the while is relagated to the side lines..
Plus I think they ended hoping for season 2.. and i hate that! Sorry.. I just love a good fantasy fiction in school ( harry potter.. eragorn..) and so the disappointment

Lol, Koreans and their Very Important Persons. This should be a Beanie level.

16
2

Yes please! But we have to decide how many V’s we need to put before the IP 😂

    2
    1

THAT ^^ many! *counts* five is enough, because the funny thing about it is that I’ve seen tons of “VVIPs” and even “VVVIPs” in K-dramas, but this was the first time I saw a “VVVVVIP.” Ahaha! We get it. You’re VERY important.

ALAS! I’ve caught up w/ all my shows and their finales this week. Now I can fully explore the BEANIES section again w/o freaking out over spoilers every second. Sigh. Life of a Beanie. #beanielife

My puppies! Together at last. Woo~ It was a crazy ride, but I’m glad I stuck around all through its craziness because it was well worth it to be able to see that satisfying conclusion. One of the better endings this week. Not gonna mention names. You know the one. Anyways, this show even made me choke up a little for Dae-mok’s ultimate demise. Dae Freakin’ Mok! Welp, thanks for a genuinely good time, Show. Also, big thanks to Yoo Seung-ho for charming my socks off in every episode. Come back soon, ya hear?

The made me realize YSH can pull any character and still come off charming 💕

He’s TOO charming! That smile makes me melt into a puddle of goo. Gah! So cute and handsome, that boy. He needs to be in a modern rom-com or something! Something fun and smart like Marriage Not Dating. Or he could be in whatever he wants. I’d probably watch anyway.

Lee Sun to Ga-eun: Thanks to you, I had a name. I had a dream. I was happy.

Lee Sun to Sun: You were also my first and last friend, as well.

I was thinking: ‘Isn’t Gaeun their first friend?’ Bec they both met her first right? Or does she doesn’t count bec she’s love interest?

    1
    1

Aha, ikr!? Traitors! Jk, but yeah, Ga-eun’s more like family, I guess.

Lol, so Sun has been through a lot and all he wants to do is hug his lady, but everyone’s like *cough* Must. Not. Look. It’s adorable, but I just love Gon’s robo self not getting it and has to be told to turn around. Also love Woo-bo peeking because he just loves love.

WHY would you even do this? Cruel, cruel show. BUT HE CALLED HIM HIS CHINGU!

    😭😭😭

    1

It’s truly such a shame we lost him. He didn’t have to go out like that. SHOW HAS FAILED ME.

      2
      1

So you have finished it… Well done. 😉
It is a shame, but he was blaming himself so much, I think it was a relief for him – to be able to save Soo Ji’s life and to take Shi Wan with him.
It doesn’t mean I will ever stop missing him, though…

        1
        1

          Haha, yes! Thank you. ✌🏼

Y’know what, you make a good point. From beginning, up to his last moments, he always had Suji and Yoo-na in the back of his mind and was always filled with regret and guilt about what he did to them, so in a way, yes, his death did really FINALLY give him some peace. Gah, so sad.

          1
          0

The thing with this scene was that I knew he died, so I was so surprised to see him alive and well. A bit too well actually, because I atleast expected him to be in a wheelchair or you know, lost his memories! And then I kicked myself for thinking this because atleast he was alive!!
And then he wasn’t. It was a fake out. And I kicked myself even more! 😭😭

    3
    1

Aha! Don’t kick yourself too hard! I fell for it, too, despite knowing it was just too good to be true. At least you were rational about it, asking important questions like “Why is he in such good condition after what just happened!?” Haha.

This scene gave me two minutes of happiness. At least something good.

I KNEW it was too good to be true! I still fell for it, though. 😒

When I saw him, I started thanking the writer for saving him. I was so happy I cried. And then I cried again, because it wasn’t real.

        1

LOL! Poor you. Show made you go through so many emotions within a few minutes. Huhuhu!

          1

Well, no one forced me to watch… And I enjoy emotional rides. The more, the better! 😛

I never cried reading recaps before, but Do-han’s fate is just too much. Why did you have to do this, show?

    1
    1

I probably would’ve cried if the events leading up to his death wasn’t so ridiculous. I was literally just so done w/ the show that even his death didn’t affect me because I was unfortunately no longer there with the show. I mean, I was hoping he’d make it, but when he didn’t, I was sad, but wasn’t too affected.

Uh, how about NO, let’s NOT forget what y’all just went through. You’re never gonna forget it, so why are you getting rid of the only good thing about the entire last ep? WHO CARES if it’s gonna get her in trouble? That was more than enough proof to lock that kid up for good. She caught a murderer and a psycho! She won’t be punished too severely. My goodness.

    1
    1

I thought: If Do Han dies, you better not forget!
But too bad they didn’t show Shi Wan in prison. That would be very satisfying.

      1

They what!? I haven’t finished the ep yet, so, but GAH. I give up. There’s just too many things I wanted to happen to Shi-wan and now I feel like they’re letting him go easy. I’ll have to finish and find out what happens.

        1

          Oops! Sorry for spoiling!
But yeah, I took my time to finish it as well. I usually watched the episodes right away, but I finished the last one just today, because I knew I needed to be strong to watch it.
          So, fighting!

          1
          1

            No worries! 😊
Welp, here goes. I’m gonna finish it up now. Thanks for the encouragement!

WTFFFFFFFFUUUHHHHHH ep31!?! GAAARRRRHHH these last two eps have been SO FRUSTRATING to watch and I’m so internally pissed and it aggravates me to no end because everything could’ve been prevented and why was everyone suddenly so dumb??? gggGGGAAAHHHHNNN!!!

Please be alive! Please be alive! Show has been super ridiculous these past couple of eps, so I wouldn’t mind if they went all out and somehow saved him. PLEASE!

I’m not in it for the logic anymore. Those days are long gone.

      1
      1

I’l be there to console u when u reach the end… i was in denial for a long time too.. and even ended up making lots of posts on him which i usually dont do! haha… things dramas make us do..

        till then.. “There there…”

        1
        1

Aw, thanks, bud. I appreciate your support. 😌👍🏼
I’ll be finishing up the last part a little later today and all the ridiculousness got me so tired of this show already, so however it’s gonna end, I’ll just say “A’ight. It was good knowin’ ya, Show. Payce!” IF Do-han dies, !$&@%#*^

          1
          0

I agree. The last eps were truly ridiculous. The characters were forced to serve the plot, which is why everyone suddenly became so stupid. I stopped caring for the logic or plot as well…

      1
      1

Right? Okay, I’m glad it’s not just me that thinks that. Idk what happened in the last two eps, but I was so frustrated w/ everyone. At this point, I’m just gonna finish it because I made it this far, but I don’t care anymore. What a bummer.

        1
        0

Well…here’s to sending you comfort during your drama need. But, mostly this gif is from my favorite movie of all time. I’m always compelled to say something “more grown up” but nope. Little Rascals. I saw the shasta can crumple and automatically recited the scene this came from.

    1
    1

Thanks, I’ll take all the comfort I can get.
      Are you watching?

Aha, I’m proud of you for owning it! 👍🏼 It’s been forever since I’ve seen it, so all I remember are a few faces and basically a bunch of really sassy and smart kids. I should re-watch it one of these days.

Glad it brought back good memories! 😌

Nope! I have absolutely no idea as to what drama is driving all of you bonkers. I saw Darla and wanted to be a part of the conversation.

This movie is my the world is ending, there is no hope, lets all just die together movie. This is my last resort movie. I watch it when I’ve been upset for too long and music and kdramas and talking it out and whatever else isn’t working. I put this movie on, open a can of spaghetti-o’s that I eat right from the can, hide from the world under my bed and approximately 5 minutes in after Buckwheat and Porky pull themselves out of the lake (which is obviously and unapologetically a friggin’ fish tank (LMAO just thinking of it)) and try to read the letter from Spanky “Man. We’ve gotta learn how to read.” identical shoulder shrugs and a run to the club house just in case that’s what the letter said–and I am laughing until I have a stitch in my side and suddenly the world isn’t completely awful. But, if ever a time comes when a person sees me reaching for Little Rascals its in the best interest of the world to just wait until that scene before approaching the isa-beast. HA!

        1
        1

Well, that’s a good enough reason for me! Haha. I was referring to Lookout, btw. The last two eps frustrated me to no end. Big disappointment.

Aw! I love how much this movie means to you. That’s great. I need to prepare a the-world-is-ending-there-is-no-hope-let’s-all-just-die-together movie, too!
Not even gonna ask how many times you’ve seen it to remember the scenes and lines so well! Haha.

Aww! *tears up all over again*

    1

The fact that this is the SECOND time he’s having to hold her from bleeding to death. I can’t. The romance in this show is too much to handle.

I kid, I kid. But still, these two. I can’t even get a hug from y’all, can I?

      2
      1

Haha. They did have awesome chemistry though! I didn’t really mind that there was no romance! But yea, his expression everytime he sees her in danger! You could believe that he loved her! Or I’m just reading too much into it…

        2
        2

If you are, then I am too, because I’m sure if he was still alive (w/ the help of K-drama magic, of course), maybe after some time and a lot of redemption, just maybe, he’ll confess to her about how he thinks she’s a badass mama jama that he respects, is sorry to, thankful for, and loves. Hehehe!
I didn’t mind the no-romance, either, because I agree, they had great chemistry and while it wasn’t romantically sizzling, it was silently sizzling. Haha. But I really do mind so much those awful last two eps so much.

          1
          1

Haha love it! It was silently sizzling! I guess it was great while it lasted. If only the finale had been a bit more believable and…well, less stupid I guess.

            1
            0

Less stupid, yes. For such a smart drama, how did it end up being so darn stupid? The world may never know!

    Oh so sadly right ㅠ.ㅠ
I just made the gif of this scene actually but it can’t upload

    1

    Hahaha! u so mean! Lol
but yeaah… really wish they had some nice moments after the whole thing was done with.. oh well.. we will have to be satisfied with bomi & key’s cuteness !

    1
    1

Omg, I’m starting to think Do-han’s gonna die (pls don’t confirm that)… crap. No no no! But honestly, I posted this right when I got to it, so I didn’t see any other part, so wasn’t even trying to be mean. I just knew that at this point, considering the circumstances and the fact that it’s the finale, we won’t get to see them huggin’ and kissin’ anytime soon so I’ll take the hand-touching. 😭

Lol, that title.

Lol, this scene. They’re both so bad, but Jo Jung-seok is just so good at being bad. He’s one of those actors that can play good and evil and make it totally believable. Even though he’s not evil here, per se, but y’know what I mean.

Omg I remember this! It was such a ridiculous way to bond. I was snorting on the plane watching it.

    1

Yes! So surprising and hilarious that lil’ bro actually played along with Hyung! Haha. I also love that entire club scene, too. Did they have this on the airplane or did you watch it on your own device?

They had it in the in-flight entertainment! I was flying Singapore Airlines, they have a pretty good selection.

Thanks to Fight My Way, I was able to wholeheartedly appreciate Kim Ji-won. She was all sorts of awesome as Choi Ae-ra and she won me over with all her spunk, sass, tears, raw emotions, and yes, even her cringey aegyo. I’m now a fan of yours, unnie! You had me at hair flip. <3

Watch her in What’s Up. I saw her potential then and was so happy she finally got another lead role in FMW.

      Brief summary, juseyo?

      0
      1

Follows college students in the musical theater department under an unorthodox professor. Each has their own baggage that they have to work through. Kind of Glee-like in its incorporation of musical numbers. It also has Im Joo-wan as the male lead with Jo Jung-suk and Lee So-hyuk in supporting roles. All the actors are really good and the story is good with some depth.

        3
        1

Ooh, that actually sounds good! I loved Glee and love their take on songs, so I could totally be on board with something similar. It’s also giving me Dream High and Heartstrings vibes, so that’s cool, too. Thanks so much for sharing!

Ahn Jae-hong’s smile. <3

Thank YOU, Fantastic Four and Show, for making me smile, laugh, cry, cheer, and be inspired. I was always rooting for you. I had a lot of fun following you on your journey to fight your way to be able to live out your dreams. Thanks for being real and relatable.
