Name That Drama: Scary fox faces and robotic housekeepers
by HeadsNo2
As always, feel free to email us your questions and requests for future Name That Drama installments.
- This one’s not an uncommon ending, that’s for sure
It’s driving me insane… I don’t think it was a drama I particularly liked or want to watch again, but it annoys me that I can’t remember what it is. All I have is how it ended. The camera panned out in a living room with wedding photos (I think) and the sound of a baby in the background? It was to do with the main couple in the drama, kinda a flash forward, but just that, really.
I realize it’s very vague, but I would love love love to get this out of my head so I can focus on more important things! Ha.
- Three scenes are better than none
There’s been this one drama that my mom watched, and I caught some parts of it when I was young.
It’s a historical drama and contains this fox woman (literally, her face was furry), and she somehow enters the palace by drinking something (I think?) that suppressed these fox features. There are plots to uncover her identity and villains that suspect her and attempt to out her.
There are three scenes that I remember vividly. One is of her with her scary fox face in the dark, misty woods. Her eyes may have been yellow. The second is blood being dripped into a bowl of some liquid, and I think the instigators expected the blood to change once it touched the substance inside (thereby outing the fox lady). The last scene is out in the open air, where a female antagonist has a bowl of dust, and is about to test many maidens by throwing the dust on them (though she eyes the fox woman with glee).
That’s all I can remember. Thank you for your support in helping me find this drama!
- Not gonna lie, I kind of want to see whatever this is
I remember watching a drama several years ago. When the girl meets the guy, she hands him a chicken, and I think the chicken got loose, so he was chasing the chicken all over the place.
That’s all I remember, but I really want to see it again!
- Global beanies, assemble!
I am sending this in hopes that it will find it’s way into your next “Name That Drama” segment, as I am incomparably irritated right now that I can’t remember the name of it.
So there was a scene in the drama where the male lead goes to a restaurant (I think he goes there with the female lead), and it’s a kind of restaurant where the owners take a picture of all the couples who visit and keep a scrapbook of the photos by the month. So the male lead remembers that he once went there with the second female lead (his ex), and he remembers that they also had their photograph taken and (maybe he missed her or something). He asked the owners to let him have a look at the scrapbook of the month they visited.
When he opened the page to their photograph, he sees that she had visited that restaurant recently, and that she had torn the photograph and taken her picture with her. So it was just a photo of him and the empty place where she was supposed to be, where she had written him a message thanking him for loving her, or something.
I don’t even remember whether it was Korean, Taiwanese, or Japanese, but I desperately need to know the name! Please help me.
- I wish I had a robot housekeeper
So I’ve been searching for a drama, it’s been a long time since I saw the drama, and I couldn’t finish it back then. So the story is about a mysterious robotic housekeeper (I think it’s something like that).
I don’t really remember how the story went, all I remember was this scene when the housekeeper walked to the river with a little girl from the family. I’m sorry if it’s too confusing, I couldn’t remember a lot of things since it’s been a long time, please help me find this drama.
Thanks for playing, everyone — till next time!

I'm glad you like it :).
This version has some of the scenes from the drama in it. Her/His description of what she remembered is spot on.

Kiara,
Daebak! Thanks so much for posting that version with scenes from the drama. I recall seeing a clip or two of foxling Kim Yoo-jung and LMH the Younger a while ago, but I hadn't checked out the drama itself. Yet another to add to my ever-lengthening list. ;-)
Thanks again -- and Happy New Year to you and yours!

I'm still shipping those two and Yoo-jung with Yeo Jin-goo too. I thought it was cute when LMH told her that he would be waiting till she turns 20 (legal) lol.
They are all fantastic in sageuks for their age. I can't wait till she is legal. Maybe KBS will produce a real sageuk and make good use of their talents.

After the series ended, I was startled to see the same cafe in the woods in episode 7 of SIGNAL, which I didn't watch until August.

I was so surprised to see it again that I noted it in my Kdrama & film log... It's a distinctive building that I liked a lot. As if I don't have enough Kdrama trivia cluttering my mind. ;-)

#3 Is or could be invincible Lee Pyung Kang. Actually, I saw that ages ago and super liked it. I guess it's nothing special, but I've always had a soft spot for Ji Hyun Woo and he's hilarious in this. 2nd lead played by Seo Do Young :)

There was chicken chasing in the long ago Spring Waltz too. Not just 1 chicken but several that got loose from their truck. The couple happened to drive by and went to help catch the chickens for the farmer.

5. Suspicious Housekeeper
An odd, intriguing show about how a mother's suicide effects the surviving three children and newly widowed father. The father hires a housekeeper who helps the family put their lives back together. The housekeeper learns through her relationship with the family how to put her own life back together after a tragic past.
Worth watching-can be frustrating, touching, sad and funny all in one episode. Keep tissues at the ready.

#3) In Scent of a Woman there's a chicken chase scene, with Kim Sun-A, a Muslim chicken keeper, and a halal chicken. It does not end well for the chicken.
Episode 1, about one minute long, beginning at 33:32 in my version.
As I write this, you can stream or download episode 1 at up to 1080p here: http://kissasian.com/Drama/Scent-of-a-Woman/Episode-1?id=2629
