Oh Snap! Yoo Ah-in wins more things, takes more photos

Having reached almost peak levels of stardom and critical acclaim, Yoo Ah-in now only needs to go somewhere for it to be an event worth commemorating in picture form. The fact that he’s drop dead handsome and oh-so-dapper probably doesn’t hurt much, either.
Featured in this month’s edition of High Cut, the star took part in an allegedly impromptu photo shoot while in Macau for the 10th Annual Asian Film Awards, where he picked up two “Next Generation Awards” for his performances in Veteran and The Throne. Pfft, well, now he’s just showboating.

They need to knock it off with the undereye makeup, that cover pic looks practically demonic.
But they should keep giving him all the awards! I can't believe we're about to lose him to military service so soon :(

The first two photos look like he has a lazy eye or... am i the only one who thinks so
I only liked the black and white photo, maybe they needed a better photographer, they just seem off and one was too bright, but please give him more awards and take more pictures before he leaves us.

No, his eyes have two different shapes. This puzzled me throughout SFD. How can be so imperfectly perfect? It's in the eyes, but it's the look, not the aspect.

Me Tooo! "Secret Love Affair" made me take notice of him as a lead actor, though is his role as Crazy Horse in Sungkyunkwan Scandal is also pleasing to the eye.
Now can anyone tell me how to watch The Throne/Sado? I can't find a subbed version anywhere.

This guy can deliver dialogues using just his eyes. There were so many scenes in 6FD where you can really "hear" his internal struggle and thoughts without him opening his lips. He truly deserves the accolades and recognition he's getting.

He has more strong bones, macho, more east asian,korean look to his face. I like that he has grown to look harder in the face, less flower boy.
He is handsome like a devil in unconventional ways too, even as a man i can see he looks as handsome as you want to look in a young man of his age. You dont want to look like a feminine flower boy type look like some other korean stars of his age group.
He reminds me of Joo Won now, that weird face that is handsome in other ways.

My guy friend legitimately got mad when I said he was attractive. I said of course he's charming, and that makes so much of it, but he's clearly good looking as well. He was like, Daniel Henney is good looking! Won Bin is good looking! This man is not good looking!

Before I watched SFD and fell in love with his acting I was totally like, oh this new Blue Dragon Best Actor guy is apparently awesome, but not that handsome. Not in the conventional way at least.
THEN, I watched SFD and got so attracted to him that I couldn't understand why I didn't find him handsome initially. It's like, is there a problem with my eye? He is soooo attractive now, what's with my eyes originally?

I'm a convert after SFD too! He is not conventionally handsome but possesses a certain charisma that draws you in. And he's probably the best actor of his generation, hope he returns with a bang after military service.

Same here! SFD is my first close encounter to this different kind of korean actor. At first i thought..why, little lee bang won is so cute and all. I was expecting a more flower boy actor when he grew up and it wasn't love at first sight at all. I guess i am in love with the acting before the actor. Now i am all about YAI.. heeellp..meeeee.....

I love this guy. Believe it or not, he actually first caught my eye in Antique Bakery, lol. I'm so glad he's become big because there've been too many times where I've been a fan of someone who doesn't work/get work often. Case in point-everyone else in that movie!! LOL
But, I can watch Yoo Ah In all the time, it's great. He's so cool and puts 110% into everything. I will really miss him and think that I will actually feel his absence pretty strongly.

This is so strange. I've watched Yoo Ah In in SSKS and Secret Love Affair. He looked quite cool when his hair was down, and average wearing a hat. He looked hot as a pianist and emoted so well and I totally couldn't match his name to these shows(one of the first Korean dramas I've watched in a long time recently).
I thought he looked a bit weird in his DotS cameo, and this photoshoot does not seem to do it for me even though I really loved SLA. Did he go under the knife or something?

Nah just a bad photoshoot, photographer with the lightning. They try to be different, edgy and ruin the natural good looks of stars like him.
He looked much better in saeguk role in SFD, despite it wasnt meant to look like a flattering photoshoot.

Wow i thought he got the awards for his two great performance, but instead he got TWO!! He IS awasome!! Give him more awards pleaseee,,, i`m dreading for his time away in the army, what we would do?? I heard these photoshoots were the last minute decision because he also came to AFA in the last minute due to SFD hectic schedule. So the result was not maximum. Anyway, congratulations, YAI! Really hope he'll come back soon to the screen after the military service.

He's not pretty. He's beautiful! This was just like when I first saw Heath Ledger. I thought he wasn't a conventional handsome, but once I saw his acting, he turned to a very attractive guy, and next he turned to a very hot guy.

I've loved him since Sungkyunkwan Scandal. So glad he is finally getting roles worthy of his talent. Can't wait to watch Sado and the Throne. I'll probably watch SFD again during his military service. I'm on my third viewing of SLA.
