Andrea you are going full steam ahead with this show.

Each and every episode they tackle something workplace related.
Episode 8 was sexual harassment to sexual assault
Episode 9 was Victim Blaming.
Episode 10 dealt with corrupt practices and Corporate Spying + Trust in your subordinates which was tackled earlier.

1ST Husband called her Bit** which is much stronger than the word Sl**
2nd Husband is Dependent on his Surname or family status to live by. He isn't exactly a mama boy.
3rd Husband looked cool and then started to give me the idea of Physical Fights
But then the way he acts not makes it appear like he is an Idiot to go Physical Violence route.
The way he is playing now clearly shows He attacks your heart and mind more than body.

You can scare someone without going Physical Violence Route.
I also have to say sometimes 3rd Husband do look cool.

This show is 75% workplace and social issues and subtle love and relationship buildup keeps everything well.

I also think Ok Da Jung and Nam Jung Ki as friends would have played better but from start they tried to buildup some romance and Woo Joo's and Bong Gi's bonding with Ok Da Jung is leading us in the known direction.

I think Ok Da Jung has become a bit Consious of Nam Jung Ki and Woo Joo is making Nam Jung Ki to look things that way too.

Enjoyed eps 9 and 10. This drama has these unexpected small moments between characters that are awesome. Like ODJ and her mom at the train station. DJ sending Bong Gi to help Deputy Han. NJG working up the courage to stand up for Deputy Park, and then Deputy Park bringing NJG food at night.

The only thing that annoys me is President Jo. How stupid, fickle and ridiculous can one person get? I hate him even more than Director Kim at this point.

Episode is up and now waiting for Translations.

Also The spoiler provided by Paroles kind of tells us that how Mr. Lee puts CEOs in corner and they up completely devastated and some even lose their own life.

Mr. Lee also don't venture into unprofitable deals. Angel Investors take more risk and hardly intervene in the business and management. But the way Mr. Lee works all ends up in his hand and then He negotiate with big players.

Profit all around. 1st scene Mr. lee Appears and talks about share-price of a Stock up.
Stock Market works on perception and there you can see Stock is overpriced.

A novice or new investor or small investor thinks wow Stock is in BULLISH RALLY and buys at Peak
but an insider always takes advantage of this mentality+ prior better knowledge of stock and company and bang SELL at peak buy at bottom.

When people like Mr. Lee and that manager sell shares of the stock then it is always in large 1000's of shares in a few minutes go down. bang. small investors crushed in 1 swoop.

Stock Market is a place where 1 earns and other lose money. 1 = 1. nothing more or less.

3RD Husband has ingrained the strategies and views of Investment into his own life. Bingo
President has put Lovely Cosmetics into the pockets of Mr. Lee.

Just finished watching episode 11. Some points:

1. A summary.

This episode is mainly about the employees not being able to resist temptation and accepting bribes now that they are in a better position. And as usual, Ms. Temper saves the day. This is a set up by Lee Ji-sang (her 3rd ex) though, and now the employees are in a even bigger crisis (unemployment).

2. The relationship between Da-jung and Lee Ji-sang.

He says he returned because he missed her (I think this was in the preview but I forgot to mention it). So I'm thinking, does he still have any lingering feelings for her? Also, there was something interesting that he mentioned. He wasn't the one who led to the death of the CEO/boss/whatever of the previous company. It was Da-jung. I think she herself also feels guilt from the same incident, so it's possible that she had (very) indirectly caused his death.

Also, I think the two of them will make a very good chaebol-career woman couple in a different drama. Yeon Jung-hoon is really charismatic as a baddie, and he and Lee Yo-won match pretty well.

Ep 12 Preview

If anyone's interested in the preview, this is a very very short explanation. They are now trying to get employees to quit on their own by being overbearing. Da-jung asks the president if LJS has begun to interfere with the company's operations and warns him again. Lee Ji-sang asks Da-jung if she still thinks there are things more important than money. And he asks her to experiment and see if her employees will choose her over money.

Episode 11 is another Beautiful Episode.

Chief Ok Da Jung again saves Marketing Team.
I am getting annoyed. How many times Our Ok Da Jung has to save these people.

What they learnt in past several months? What growth they have achieved?
They do 1 thing and then rather than learning from it KIND of re-lapse again.
They not even put much of efforts into their main work MARKETING.
They easily get tempted and Intimidated.

It was funny to see these people who always gave bribes and scoffed at it now themselves took Bribe and used it. What exactly were they thinking?

Years of " Yes, Sir" habit has really affected their views?

Ok Da Jung must really show these people some Light. Our Chief the SAVIOUR of this team.

3RD Husband is cool. quite cool . What an Ace 3rd Husband has thrown in Episode 12.

Money Vs. Relationships. These bonds are strong enough to fight off greed and temptation?

The way Ok Da Jung was disappointed with whole team and especially with Nam Jung Ki.

Another Good Episode Except logical mistakes of the plot or premise.

Few Convenient plot mistakes are allowed to make story more interesting which i personally find cheap and lazy way to show a story and its characters.

3rd Husband has build quite a strong place here. Mr. Lee's actions and motivations make much more sense and he looks is quite confident as a character and as a Actor.

I have to say Mr. Lee is Bringing real issues into light Seriously. Humour is there for next episode.

Nam Jung Ki situation in this episode is pretty similar to Episode 1. Naah, It was much more serious here and most important and crucial point to notice is Nam Jung Ki Gave Resignation.

Yeah yeah That Survival-at-all-Cost guy gave resignation Latter.

I enjoyed this episode and in next episode will be awesome because Manager Shin will received his due punishment and new Spectacle-manager will cause relationship Rumors.

Woo Joo will demand Mother and Deputy Han's return as a confident Lady.

That's the issue here. I think the actress can't properly portray tearful expressions. In sexual assault episode I felt for her but in next episode when she acted as corporate spy and cried

In front of Chief Ok Da Jung i just couldn't feel any of her pain. I just couldn't relate to her.
The Ms. Mi Ri says she regretted it. wow. If you regretted it then why did it again by sending Lip Lacquer data?

I think it is more related to direction. They try to solve each and every issue in maximum of 2 episodes and so they just did it fast as much they could. That's why Ms. Mi Ri crying in front of Deputy Park felt odd. Scene makes sense but also feels quite Odd. These tears look like crocodile tears whereas a VIEWER should feel moved that time.

Also You can see it as an Story error or mistake done by director.
Same goes for Bribe Issue they just wrapped it up in 5 minutes because they have to move to next Direction or Plot.

Now what we have is Directors trying to play usual cliches and putting all characters in one place. It is getting Illogical as Episodes are aired.

There aren't many episodes left for Romance and Love and so we will see high-pitch drama.
They needed to make 20 episodes show out of this. Show is fast and entertaining but they are just wrapping up many things without any proper solution or conclusion.

We have yet to see Gender discrimination in Salary of employees having same abilities or Skills.

EPISODES 13/14 TODAY/TOMORROW

Note: Because this single post covers the entire length of the drama, I thought it might be helpful to mark when each set of episodes was released.

I just finished watching episode 13. You might not want to read further if you have not seen the episode. It gave me the overwhelming impression that Ms Temper was going to manage to seize control of Gold Chemicals as opposed to the other way round. I have no idea how, but her character possesses the skill and daring to just pull it off. Especially if she has the support of her both of her "families" (i.e. work and the 4 Nam minions). The only thing left would be to make it "official" with the head Nam minion or should I say Mr Temper IV.

I wanted one thing from episodes 13 and 14, and that was some payback dished out to some of our antagonists, and so far, episode 13 has given me enough to make sure I don't go into episode 14 feeling too angry/sad about our heroes being so close, but not close enough.

It was delightful seeing Manager Yang get taken down a notch or two throughout the whole thing (I was already so happy to have Young-mi back again, but her shutting Manager Yang down like that made her return ten times sweeter), and it was made even better by him still retaining his cockiness through it all.

And I was so happy about Manager Shin finally being tossed out -- until I realized that we pretty much just traded in bag of trash for another. At that moment, I almost wanted Manager Shin to come back. Almost. I'd be happier if they all just vanished.

She is now my favorite actor/actress!

I honestly don't want the two mains together. Not much is there and there are only two episodes for the show to end.

I'm loving this show more and more every episode.

All the characters are great, specially ODJ and NJK.
But, can we discuss for a moment how charming is the "evil" 3rd husband Mr. Lee? Yeon Jung Hoon is doing a great job, as always.
And also, I didn't expect to like Bong-Gi so much. His comedy moments are pure gold.
All in all, the story is good and touches very realistic matters that happen in the workplace, but the actors are the ones that make it shine. It's becoming my favorite drama this year. :D

Romantic developments with ODJ an NJG: I personally really like how slow and subtle the whole thing is? (Plus, I'm a sucker for slow-burn romances.)

If the drama ends with the two of them planning their marriage, I probably wouldn't like that at all because there definitely isn't enough development here for /that/, but if the end-game for these two is for them to simply start a relationship, or just hint at a relationship outside of the workplace, I'd be all for it.

I loved ep 14 too!

The last few episodes felt sort of rushed and inconsistent to me for the same reasons that others have pointed out here. But this ep was absolutely amazing. It seemed like we saw all the characters and everything moving forward FINALLY.

-Chief Ok leaving and the employees, led by NJG, taking the initiative to stand up against the biggest temptation (and threat) they've ever faced in their careers. Truly full circle from the beginning, when they willingly sacrificed all their pride for a paycheck. Now they understand the value of taking pride in their work, their products, and their company, and are willing to fight for those things. So great :)

-President Jo finally coming to his senses, thoroughly chastened and beaten down. He had been a shallow and foolish character for most of the show, and it was good that he finally recognizes that now.

-Closure between the 1st ex and ODJ. Now we know that he kept feeding ODJ info and betraying Director Kim over and over because of his ongoing guilt over believing Director Kim's lies about ODJ and thus ruining their marriage. He lost his job and ODJ hugged him...quite a moving scene.

-Bong Gi finally maturing and accepting the realities of work life, and NJG having faith that he will be successful.

-Last but not least, Woo Joo's "reconciliation" with ODJ and ODJ's  slam of the rude mom. ODJ in a Sailor Moon costume...legendary.

Any other show similar to this one? any recommendations?

After reading reviews i have chosen 2 better quality shows:
1. My Lawyer, Mr. Jo
2. Misaeng aka Incomplete Life
and both are based on a manga. Seems like both are Seinen.

EPISODES 15/16 TODAY/TOMORROW

Episode 15 Rocks...

The breakfast scene was AWESOME!

Ugh...I hate to say it, but I did not enjoy ep 15 at all. Evil mastermind Mr. Lee puts something so critical in a briefcase carried around for no reason all day by his assistant? And the briefcase has no lock on it? And then the lawsuit against President Jo gets suddenly resolved because they found a good lawyer? Everything got resolved way too simplistically, and it didn't do justice to all the story build-up or to Ms. Temper's skill.

And then the romance and love triangle being shoehorned in at the last minute was irritating as well. It takes away from the entire story IMO, because the entire show focused very little on romance, so I was hoping for an ending that fit with that. (And ODJ had told her 1st ex that men and women could just be friends and colleagues). But they had to insert a cookie cutter love triangle with the cliched "three person stare down" at the last minute. Like, that is not what the show is about!

Le sigh. I think I'm just hard on this episode because I was expecting so much more.
