Youths Over Flowers in Africa: Episode 4
by javabeans
girlfriday: As the boys pack up to move onto their next town, Jae-hong starts a funeral for his pants, the ones that ripped down the middle and now look like two separate pant legs. And then we catch up to the moment when Bo-gum gets behind the wheel nervously…. and backs up into the wall behind him. *crash*
javabeans: The reaction shots are pretty comical, aren’t they? Like what you’d get if you told actors to act surprised.
girlfriday: Yeah they’re textbook shock faces. I like the range too — Kyung-pyo looks distraught, Jae-hong is trying hard to act like it’s fine but looks worried, and Joon-yeol goes from shock to giggles, thinking it hilarious.
javabeans: How can he have hit that wall so thoroughly? It wasn’t even a near miss!
girlfriday: I know, and I don’t even think he needed to reverse that far to begin with.
javabeans: Bo-gum looks pretty morose as he says ruefully, “I don’t think I’m meant to drive.”
girlfriday: I think you’re right about that.
javabeans: All the while, the cheery song he turned on to start their drive is still going, and Jae-hong notes that it’s still playing as though its very presence is annoying now.
girlfriday: All they can do is just carry on, since it’s not massive damage or anything (and hope that the insurance they got will cover it). Bo-gum refuses to get behind the wheel, and the hyungs pat him on the back and assure him that it’s fine as long as no one got hurt.
javabeans: I really think Bo-gum might cry.
girlfriday: He sorta always looks like he’s on the verge of tears. So Joon-yeol gets behind the wheel and they head back out, and they get stopped at another checkpoint on the road where they ask for his license and passport. When the cop sees that they’re from Korea, he names the one Korean he knows — soccer player Park Ji-sung — and they all shout his name happily.
javabeans: Joon-yeol marvels at how soccer brings the world together and they drive off in great spirits. Everyone except Bo-gum, who sighs heavily enough that Jae-hong asks if he has anything against Park Ji-sung. But Bo-gum was just thinking of how he got pulled over for running that stop sign, still traumatized by it.
girlfriday: Poor buddy. He’s obsessing over the accident even when they stop at a gas station, and he hovers around the cracked taillight trying to somehow fix it. Jae-hong notices and does everything he can to lift Bo-gum’s spirits, and it seems to work to get everyone singing and dancing.
javabeans: It gets him a little lighter-spirited, at least on the surface. Then they pull over at a rest stop for quick lunch of sandwiches before heading back out.
girlfriday: As they get back in the car, Bo-gum says that he feels a little gassy because they keep eating bread, and Kyung-pyo practically shouts, “Fart! Just fart! If you hold it in, it’ll come out poop! Just fart, I’ve been farting this whole time!”
javabeans: He seems very gleeful about that. Finally they arrive at Etosha National Park, which is basically a place to go on safari and see wild animals.
girlfriday: This is crazy, they just drive around amongst the animals in their own car? I guess that’s what a safari is.
javabeans: They look around intently for their first sighting, and perk up in excitement to see a giraffe in the distance… before recalling that giraffes don’t lie down, and realizing this is a corpse.
girlfriday: Aiee, that’s not a very fun first thing to see. It freaks them out a bit, especially Bo-gum, but things quickly take a better turn when they spot some zebras in the distance and get up close. They pull up to the campsite and pay a fee to set up their tents there for the night, and Kyung-pyo the tent master sets up their tents.
javabeans: At least this place has a kitchen, because I’m not sure they would have figured out fire on their own again. The problem today is that they have a bunch of raw meat and no refrigerator, and Jae-hong goes out in search of a solution. Um, I’m pretty sure the solution was to buy an icebox and load it with ice beforehand.
girlfriday: I know right? Why do these guys just keep showing up to campsites with no equipment? It’s a testament to the kindness of strangers that they’ve survived this long.
javabeans: I know! What would they have done if they hadn’t happened to run into a stranger who happened to have a camping truck who happened to take pity on them and offer to store their meat?
girlfriday: Eat their meat now, I guess. In the bathrooms, Bo-gum is busy washing his socks, and doing a terrible job, might I add.
javabeans: One sock at a time! Haha. It’s just so funny as a visual, Bo-gum just kind of moving a sock around under the tap.
girlfriday: He seems rather proud of himself when the sock looks exactly the same as it did before the washing.
javabeans: Kyung-pyo can’t just watch, so he takes over and vigorously washes the sock, and Bo-gum regards that clean sock with this… amazement, like wow, you can clean things!
girlfriday: LOL, he is so tiny and useless.
javabeans: I feel like this trip will be a really big growing point in his life, dividing it between the time when he knew no things and the time when he knew a few things.
girlfriday: The sun becomes oppressively hot and they go looking for somewhere to hang out indoors, until they discover that the campsite has swimming pools. Score!
javabeans: They literally strip down to their underwear and go diving in. At one point Kyung-pyo gets out to dive, and Bo-gum comments that the view is too racy and he covers up his bits laughing.
girlfriday: And then he does another dive, and this time he comes up out of the water holding his underwear in his hands. Aaaaaack! Did they fall off? You know it’s bad when even Na PD goes running away.
javabeans: But of course, Kyung-pyo just suggests that they all take off their underpants underwater and hold up them up in the air.
girlfriday: And I have no idea why, but they listen to him and all do a big group jump and then hold up their underwear. The water below is pixelated, for decency and all that.
javabeans: And then Joon-yeol throws his underwear at Bo-gum playfully… and Bo-gum runs away with it HAHAHA.
girlfriday: Pwahahaha. Bo-gum quickly climbs out of the pool with Joon-yeol’s underwear, and they start to play keep-away with it. Kekeke.
javabeans: Joon-yeol starts pleading, “I’m sorry, I’ll do good, I’m sorry.” Muahaha. They keep Joon-yeol dangling (hehe) for a while tossing it around, and finally he gets it back and hopefully learns a valuable life lesson about not putting that much power into the hands of others.
girlfriday: Or listening to Kyung-pyo’s nutty ideas in the first place. They head back to camp and change into dry clothes, and then walk to the watering hole to watch the sunset. It’s a nice quiet moment, watching the animals come by for a drink, and then once the sun goes down, a giraffe comes by to drink, and then an elephant appears. Joon-yeol is the only one who sticks around long enough to see the elephant, and he’s sad about the others missing it.
javabeans: “They left? They left?!” Turns out they’d headed out to start dinner while there was still light out, and gotten their meat from their helpful neighbor. Jae-hong seems especially grateful for all the help they’ve been receiving, wondering if he could be that friendly to complete strangers.
girlfriday: Joon-yeol joins them all excited about the elephant sighting, and Jae-hong is interested enough to back and see it with him. Thankfully the elephant is in no hurry. And then a rhino comes too!
javabeans: It really does look like something out of a cartoon. Joon-yeol seems like this bright-eyed child about all the animals, unbelievably excited to see them all up close, and all hushed and reverential.
girlfriday: His excitement is infectious. It makes everything seem special and new. I think he’d stay at that watering hole all night if it were up to him.
javabeans: They return to the campsite where Kyung-pyo struggles to split a log to add to the fire. Jae-hong jokes that he should kick it in half and he actually tries it, which ends with him limping. Lol. They manage to split the log with rocks like Neanderthals, all hunched over and grunting.
girlfriday: It really does take all four of them (and some rocks) to split one log. Once they have the fire, Jae-hong begins cooking a new recipe he just invented, an African soup that he’ll turn into a pasta dish.
javabeans: I’m so glad Jae-hong knows how to cook. Otherwise I feel like they’d be eating out of tin cans or something.
girlfriday: Yeah no kidding. Jae-hong seems to flying by the seat of his pants though, because he tastes the soup and makes a funny face. My guess is that he bought the package with no idea what it was supposed to taste like.
javabeans: It seems like he’s going by the ramyun soup packet school of thought, where seasoning just automatically makes things better, instead of sometimes worse.
girlfriday: It’s that little bottle of mysterious MSG-like seasoning that he bought (that he’s been putting on everything) that saves the soup. Suddenly everyone tastes it and wonders what happened.
javabeans: The magic of MSG is what happened. Bo-gum is in charge of slicing sausages and preparing potatoes, and at one point is so pleased with himself that the show inserts the sound effect of a gurgling baby, which is exactly what he seems like.
girlfriday: It’s so perfect. They start eating the food as it cooks, and they eat so deliciously that it’s making me hungry. Also, are they still growing? Because they eat enough food to feed an army.
javabeans: Then they start drinking wine, and it’s funny because it’s the time-lapse version where you see them getting gigglier and looser the more they drink, especially Bo-gum.
girlfriday: Kyung-pyo and Joon-yeol start talking about acting, and Bo-gum is surprised to hear that the two hyungs were in the same group of acting hopefuls who sort of formed their own informal study group and encouraged each other when they were struggling to get parts.
javabeans: We even get to see bits from Kyung-pyo’s series of auditions, when the Answer Me producers commented that he looked like an ajusshi with extra weight and he then proceeded to slim way down over the course of a couple months. We also see Joon-yeol’s, when he’d been a no-name without even an agency.
girlfriday: Aw, you can see it on their faces, how much they wanted it. When Joon-yeol gets cast, he cries.
javabeans: Jae-hong says he was such a big fan of 1994 that he’d thought at the time that if there was ever another series, he had to at least try out.
girlfriday: I don’t think it went well until his second audition, when he read lines and elicited laughter from everyone. It’s one of those strange moments where the lines themselves aren’t at all funny, but it’s the way he says them that makes the character funny and come to life.
javabeans: This was the night Bo-gum had recorded the interview we’d seen in an earlier episode, about not having a formal family photo and how sad he felt about it. Then we get his auditions, where he explains how he tries to live life gratefully, and also that his mother died when he was in grade school. Well, that certainly makes his audition even more poignant, because it’s the Answer Me 1994 monologue when Chilbongie called his mother to wish her a happy remarriage and new life.
girlfriday: Oh man, even his audition reading is making me cry. They try to lighten the mood and ask if he swears or drinks or smokes, but of course Bo-gum does none of those things. He says he doesn’t really handle his liquor well… Cut to: drinking games and much, much wine with the hyungs.
javabeans: I’d argue that this doesn’t prove that he handles liquor well… It’s funny how at random points they’ll burst into laughter over one strange comment or silly remark, just out of nowhere.
girlfriday: They proceed to get drunker and gigglier, and then it’s finally time for lights out.
javabeans: In the morning, Jae-hong returns to the watering hole to see all the animals before joining the others in packing up and preparing breakfast.
girlfriday: They notice that one of the staffers bought a new shirt from the campsite, and they eye it enviously, asking her if it isn’t too big for her, hint hint. She offers to give it to the first person who spots a lion today, so it becomes a game. They get ready to head out and Bo-gum gets behind the wheel, and Na PD heads over and says this feels a lot like “that Challenge show.” He means Infinity Challenge, where cast members do improbable challenges, heh.
javabeans: Don’t you feel like it’s Joon-yeol’s personal mission to get Bo-gum past his driving trauma? He was the one who suggested last night that Bo-gum get behind the wheel again, which Bo-gum seemed decidedly unexcited about.
girlfriday: Yeah Joon-yeol has just made it a personal goal to get him over that fear.
javabeans: The view from the car-mounted camera is hilarious, because right away he’s going down the wrong road, backing up, turning, backing up again…
girlfriday: Along with the commentary: “You have to go forward, Bo-gum-ah. Back! Where are you going? I know, I know. Wait, wait!”
javabeans: I don’t know if it’s a smart idea to give Bo-gum the job of driving while they’ve also got a secondary mission going on to find a lion. He can barely handle the one thing alone! They see lots of animals as they drive, until finally Joon-yeol catches a glimpse of a lion in the tall grass, and everyone holds their breaths as it seems to stalk a herd of zebra. It gets super-tense and it feels like we’re about to get a close-up view of a hunt… but the lion ends up going away, to everyone’s disappointment. It might not count in their game since they didn’t get a clear look and can’t be sure it was a lion, though.
girlfriday: They pass by a lot of antlered animals, and then they decide to follow another safari truck, which leads them to a pack of giraffes. All that’s left now is a lion… but it’ll have to wait until next week.

Me too
But I was shock when Bo gum said his mom passed away when he was 4th grade.
Because in ep 1 I thought it was his mom called him, but it's not.
I thought it was his mom called him because when I read the recap of ep 1 the recap said that it's his mom call, so I believe with it.
His story really same with Choi Taek.
I'm fluttered for him

Bogum really is Taek... Bad driving, easily corrupted kid... except he eats alot.
Though I fervently hoped that the loss of his mother won't be the same in real life, I have a bad feeling since the episode discussing the family picture.
I am so proud of Bogum growing up as an upright young man with cheerful and humble disposition.
Off to rewatch Reply 1988 Episode 2 with a different perspective.

aww Bogummie. I really didn't know his mom has passed away, no wonder he cried so much when he said he doesn't have a family picture.
and Junyeol. I'm so glad he got the role and came this far, he seems like a very hard working person. I'm amazed that he had to go back and forth from his home to work for 4 hours everyday when he didn't even have a car back then. I really wish him a successful career ahead.

Bogum's story was really unexpected! I was thinking that as the youngest he is pampered a lot by his mom especially because of how kind and positive he is! But dang! losing your mom at such a young age and growing up without one is very difficult! I really admire him even more now because of what he became despite all the hardship that he'd bee through! I do really fell like a proud noona to him! Stay pure as you are Bogum-ah! Fighting!

Was so impressed with Jung Bong cooking skills and surprisingly everyone enjoys his cooking too.
It was really fun to see them fooling round. but but the preview showed Victoria falls ady. Oh nooo they are reaching their final destination that means we are reaching the end of the series... Nooooooo...
Also when they were having their late night talk, did Jun Yeol said something about auditioning the role of Sun Woo but got rejected because Sun Woo was supposed to be handsome?
Not sure if i understood that part correctly or not with my limited knowledge of korean language.
I don't want this series to end...

I'm not ready to part with these guys either! What a great gift of a show to Reply 1988 fans after the series. I thought the casting videos was a great callback to the unknown journey that they are taking, and now they are having the time of their lives drinking and making memories with each other.

One more lesson. Bogum fans never get the joked. One screaming angrily to junyeol when he joked about wives to the point saying that junyeol didn't appreciate bogums acting. The other ask him to just shut up lmao.
Now this one crying because the useless joke. And I start to hear that dramabeans bias towards junyeol just like they keep complain that @reply-_1988 are bias towards junyeol.

"useless" is a pretty common term for fondly telling someone they're terrible at something. Similar to "you're rubbish" - you're not actually telling someone they're garbage, you're saying that they're almost comically bad at something, so bad that it negates their worth completely. It's exaggeration.
Like when your friend keeps getting distracted while cooking and forgetting what ingredients she's put in the soup - you chuckle and say "you're useless, I'll do it" and take over. You don't actually mean she's devoid of uses.
"as his fan I felt offended" remains one of the stranger concepts I've come across in K-dramas. It implies part-ownership somehow, and doesn't really fit the dynamic of insults/apologies, but apparently works in Korea since fans demand (and get!) insane apologies that otherwise have absolutely nothing to do with them.

I believe Reddie didn't demand any apologies for herself, Miranda. She simply thought it was too harsh when given his upbringing, Bogum actually manages pretty well even though his survival skills aren't top notch.
As his fan, I am affected by what I recently learned about Bogum and it hurts my heart when Bogum cries or struggles with things no one taught him. I feel protective, yes. But this doesn't imply that I own him and therefore should get an apology on his behalf. You got this twisted, friend.

Oh for pete's sake.
@Chiisan, I have no idea what Bo Gum's upbringing has to do with someone referring to him as "useless" in what is clearly a wry, fond tone. You're reaching. As I mentioned, I find this a weird kdrama/netzien fan trend of overidentifying with actors or singers, and then kind of losing perspective.
He backed the car into a wall and can't wash socks. That's endearing, but deserves a little bit of teasing. It's hardly "offensive".

Perhaps you didn't read my comment carefully, Miranda. You're making rude assumptions about Reddie per your observation on crazy fans just because she's a little protective. Also, I simply explained what I meant (and what Bogum's fans mean) by stating "As his fan." Don't fit your assumption (that I'm attacking DB - lolwat) in my words.
I'm not offended by DB's word in anyway, so don't pull me into the anti-DB category or try to tell me how it's meant to be a joke.
BUT I find it bullying when people suddenly throw their judgments on one person because she's protective of Bogum.
Miranda
March 12, 2016 at 11:03 PM
@Chiisan, you inserted yourself into an exchange and then started making assumptions. You're the one who is randomly bringing up demanded apologies, attacks, anti-camps and "bullying". I have no interest in any of that, and pretty much think you're looking for a fight at this point, which I am ALSO not interested in.
The third paragraph of my original post is talking about a netzien trend that I find strange. If you identify with and want to defend that trend, I'm not particularly interested in engaging. You get to have your opinion, I get to have mine.
Lastly: "bullying" is starting to be a word with no meaning if you apply it so generally that it now includes terming a widely-spread netzien habit "strange".
pogo
March 13, 2016 at 7:45 AM
@Chiisan - as a Bogum fan (see what I did there?), let's not devalue the meaning of the word 'bullying' by attaching it to literally any instance of people getting disagreed with on the Internet. Actual victims of cyberbullies deserve more respect than that.

You know, I rarely comment these days but some of the comments on YOF/Bogum-related threads...I want to make it clear that I'm not directing this towards anyone or the OP, necessarily, but just putting this here since the thread itself relates to my comment.
As a "Bogum fan" (I mean, I went back to the craziness that is TUMBLR for this kid - if that's not fan dedication, I don't know what is), I really do think the reactions of some - just some - of his fans have, to humor and jokes, goes a little overboard. I think it's pretty obvious that GF has a soft spot for Bogum, whatever "team" she may have been on, and adores his puppy-like nature. Her comment was obviously a joke, and it's also a joke that's pretty common. I'm pretty sure that when I told my friends "y'all are useless" yesterday over a similar event, none of them were insulted.
I do think fans on both sides are sensitive, which definitely helps neither of the actors as well. And it makes me want to jump up and say "Wait, I'm not like that!!!" so fans don't get generalized as so (which kind of sucks because wouldn't it be better if I wanted to comment to continue discussion about awesome dramas or stuff, rather than because I want to emphasize how most fans aren't overly sensitive?).
But yeah, "as a Bogum fan" I pretty much LOL'd at all of Junyeol's various wife comments (because it's great he can make a joke about it and also because he's kind of precious and I just want to have an English conversation for him and explain YOLO in further detail). Ad "as a Bogum fan", GJ and JB...I continue to enjoy your snark the mostest. And I mean, when the boy can't even wash his socks there are some reactions that are just appropriate.

Agree with everything you say!
As a Bogum fan, I don't find "useless" offensive in the context. For the record, I love love love Joonyeol so very much as well.
It's kind of ironic how the boys luff each other in real life and yet some fans are arguing how this team is better than that team.

O EM GEE. The boys playing with Jun-yeol's underwear... Muahahahaha I can't stop laughing.
Etosha National Park is such a beautiful place! And the editing team is very awesome in piecing the background songs too. "When You Wish Upon The Star" played softly when Jun-yeol and Jae-hong returned to the waterhole for a glimpse of the elephant and giraffe (and rhino) - what a great combination of nature + music.

If you remembered there was a scene in the earlier few episodes of 1988, where deok seon's dad asked taek if he missed his mom and he replied "everyday" .. Now we know why that moment was so heartwrenching and raw :'( Bogummy is totally taek in real life sobs

I love this show so much. Thanks a lot for the recap as always.
Bong chef cook really well. He really likes Jung Bong haha.
Bo Gum is so precious. He is really like Taek, like 90% haha.
He is so so cute. Always very humble and mature in thinking. I think he will go really far and reach a top star status in few years time . I have been suspecting when he cried about the family pictures and it turned out right :(. So sad. I am glad that he is a positive kid and always work hard, honest and stay bright in any situations. He is loved by lots of people around him .
Joon-yeol actually has an agency.
He belongs to C-jes entertainment which house lots of top stars and rising stars. I think it has been less than 2 years.
It's C-jes who helped Yoon-yeol and Ryu Hye Young a lot to choose projects and promote them in shows and cfs.
Of course they are both very talented to begin with.
The industry is very competitive and I am happy that the agency support them a lot and of course luck also play a important role to shoot them to stardom ( Repply 1988).

Ryu Jun Yeol signed with C-jes last year after he cleared audition for Reply1988. He was a free agent at the time of Reply 1988 auditions. He mentioned it in this episode of Youth over Flowers. This is one actor who did not shy away from hard work.
Ofcourse,C-jes is promoting him really well now with shows and cf's.

He only join CJeS after he secured the Junghwan Role.
Thank God He is with CJeS now, The agency that also have Jaejoong and JYJ that I Love <3 <3 The King along side Joo In Sung and Jung Wo Sung
> Taxy Driver along side Song Kang Ho ( a great senior actor) and Yoo Hae Jin.
I hope he learn from all these seasoned actors and gain valuable lesson and experiences to sharpen his acting ability. Can't imagine when he is already this good as JH ( His acting was so natural in Reply 1988).
Can't wait to see him on the wide screen ^____^

luck can only bring you so far....
just as much as media play of your agency bring you...
It's his natural acting abilities that drawn Shin PD and the production team to choose him and he got that role on his own with an audition without any agency backup.

Taek is a picky eater. Bogum can eat a lot.
Taek suffers from insomnia. Bogum is a sleepy baby.
What else? Hm hm hm

I'm confusing about PBG's mom. If i not wrong, at episode 1 when the staff kidnapping him, he call his mom. So why now they say, his mom has pass away? It is not just a dialog in the audition's script ?

i'm sure the one he talked to on the phone is either his sister or brother or sis in law. why? because he used banmal.
In one interview he said that he used jondaemal (formal language form) with his parents and banmal (informal form) with his siblings.

LOL @ Bogum.
So..he can't wash socks to save his life but can conduct and play cello convincingly?? Now I understand why GKP had said he was clumsy but very dedicated to his craft.
Well, useless or not, he has done very well for someone who has grown up without a mother and shouldered financial burdens beyond his years. Seems to hold himself well in interviews--not stepping on any toes, giving credit where it's due, and encouraging of other actors. YOF will teach him some real-life skills, and the rest can come in time :)

I wondered why Bogum was so teary over the lack of a family picture earlier (because the normal assumption is that you can just get one taken now), but it takes on a whole other level of poignancy knowing that he lost his mother at such a young age.
He's so young but he's really been through a lot, poor kid. I hope life is good to him - to all of them, really - after this.

Started watching this because I read the recent articles of Bo-gum losing his mom at an early age. As someone who lost a parent at a young age too, I immediately sympathize with those who have gone through such a terrible experience. Well, I've liked him before too, but now, I find myself more interested in him.

Wow! Park Bo Gum is almost 90% Taek!
Awwww, about him losing his mom in the young age got me teary eyed!
Maybe that explains about not knowing much household work, but then again to shoulder financial responsibilities at the young age is something to admire.
And im just glad that he grows to be happy, kind, polite, thankful, positive young adult. I just hope he continues to be that way.
Ryu Jun Yeol is such a talented guy, and I think his perseverance is really starting to pay off.
Go Kyung Pyo is a well rounded actor, I loved his previous works and loved him even more in Reply 1988.
Ahn Jae-hong is a discovery for me in Reply 1988 and gotta say his cooking in YoF makes me hungry everytime I watch it.
These guys are such a joy to watch. Their bromance and care for each other is so evident esp. Bo Gum Jun Yeol so I hope the fans will stop snipping at each other. THEY LOVE EACH OTHER! THEY TREAT EACH OTHER AS BROTHERS! CAN WE JUST BE HAPPY ABOUT THAT?
As fans can we just be supportive of them without bashing the another guy. Both of them are rising stars they need all the support they can get. Im sure Bo Gum and Jun Yeol will reach great highs if fans will just support each others bias.
Each of them offer different kind of wonderful acting chops and their personal persona is something to admire. I hope they continue to make a mark in the dramaland. As a drama addict I would love to see these guys on my small and big screen bcoz I know these guys will surely give all that they got if given the chance.
Dramabeans and Girlfriday your witty, dry humor and your on the spot comments will always be a delight to read. Keep rocking girls!

This episode was touching, I felt extremely sorry for bogum. Never knew his mother passed,I'm sure his mother is very proud of him and his hard work. I can see abit why he acts the way he does, well loss of a parent can affect people differently.
Ryu, what can I say...he's inspiring. He took risks and auditioned for roles without a agency backing him up. I cannot fault the man, he is a rare gem in the K-industry and I absolutely adore him. I want a Ryu! Haha ♡♡
Gkp and Hong, my comedy duo lol. I love those boys, gkp is so helpful and has such a easy going personality. Hong, the master chef haha has great cooking skills and a great aura to boot. Gkp and Hong are such great actors too, nobody else could played their characters! These boys are perfect...Please all do well in the future ☺
Referring to girlfriday comment, it was a joke...but come on the boy is sometimes...actually let me leave it at that haha. Also please do not generalise all pbg fans, some actually have a sense of humour and don't hate on others.

I want to be objective. This is what I see of reading recaps of YOF in Africa since ep 1 in this site. I guess those who write this recap has more love towards RJY and slightly (or more) dislike PBG so.. they write things carelessly about PBG why? they don't even try to put themselves as if they like PBG and read their own recap. You can tell how much they talk about RJY than the others. GKP and AJH is there too.. I love RJY too.. but "RJY will... and they all will follow whatever he did..." "they'll be .... if RJY wasn't there" Everyone would know that you guys sides on RJY...
I wish you all who write the recaps could be more objective.. it's a recap.. be more objectives.
that's all I wanted to say. peace out.

Its funny how YoF showed that they really are not far off from their characters on Reply 1988. I'm going to miss them being together so much when this ends (miss them enough when Reply ended), and it makes me sad to know that they will be off on their own separate projects. I wish that they randomly show up on each other's projects for support, like how the cast of It's Ok That's Love (them showing up on Running Man, Kyung-soo's projects, even giving support to Sung Dong-il when Reply 88 wrapped up etc.)
But can you imagine if they casted Hyeri on this one too? 0_o I don't think I can take any more fan wars! LOL
