Come Back Ajusshi takes Rain’s body out for a spin

Okay, you had to have done something really good in your life if you get to spend your afterlife in Rain’s body, right? A pack of abs for every truly unselfish thing you’ve ever done? Two more teasers and character stills are out for SBS’s new afterlife comedy Come Back Ajusshi, highlighting more of the naked (and otherwise) body-swapping hijinks to come in the drama about getting a second chance to say goodbye.
The series stars Kim In-kwon as a department store middle-manager who dies of overwork and leaves behind a wife (Lee Min-jung) and a daughter. He’s granted a chance to return to the land of the living by possessing the body of Rain, an executive manager at his department store and son of the company’s chairman. In this new body, Kim In-kwon’s character will woo his wife all over again and fall for her a second time. Aw, I like that.
Then there’s also Kim Su-ro, a former mob boss who also comes back to tie up loose ends after his sudden death. He’ll posses Oh Yeon-seo, which should make for a hilarious transformation, judging from the teasers. His/her loveline will be with Honey Lee, who plays Kim Su-ro’s first love and former chaebol daughter-in-law, once married to Choi Won-young.
In the first teaser below, reaper Ra Mi-ran has a little fun surprising both the ajusshi ghosts with their new bodies. But it isn’t all fun and games, because they’ll both discover that being around the people they love is more difficult than they thought. Rain looks into Lee Min-jung’s eyes and thinks, “I love you. Thank you.” Oh Yeon-seo sees Honey Lee suffering and says, “I shouldn’t have come back.”
The second teaser outlines the rules for the ajusshis’ stay in the land of the living. One: You must keep your identity a secret. Two: Revenge is forbidden. Three: You are never to get involved in matters of human life or death. Reaper Ra Mi-ran warns them that if they break any of these rules, a very scary consequence awaits. When a reaper says it’s scary, take her word for it!
Come Back Ajusshi premieres next Wednesday, February 24.

Looks interesting though Rain and OYS have way more chemistry than LMJ and Rain. but all three ladies look gorgeous. I find it funny how OYS and Honey in their last drama were fighting tooth and nails over a man and now are each other's "love lines".

Kim Su-Ro I loved him in 'A Gentleman's dignity' and Rain it's been a while since I watched a drama with him. Body swapping principle hooked me in Secret Garden, even though it will not be the same context here, I like these type of misunderstanding, bizarre situation so much hahaha. I will give it a try, but as it starts and airs the same day as Descendants of the sun, Song Joong Ki will be first for me, muahahaha .

All the nonstop talk about who the female lead is is really pissing me off. Whatever, seriously! Just hope that everyone does their job well and that the drama is good, like omg, UGH.
Rant aside, this looks amazing and finally worth Rain's time. I'm so looking forward to Lee Honey and OYS's love line lmao. That should be a hoot. And honestly, I dunno how the rating will pan out but this looks a thousand times better than that Sun drama. We'll see how everything turns out.

also curious about this. i remember watching an american tv show where two women died and one of them managed to come back to earth, but she was in the other woman's body.. and it just made me really sad for that other lady, because i don't think she had tons of friends but i'm sure she had a family and mattered to SOMEONE and no one got to grieve for her and i couldn't get behind the premise so i stopped watching, haha. but yeah, this makes me think of that.. if they're possessing the bodies of these other (presumably living) people, what happens to the souls that were originally in those bodies? do they just not matter? :/

1. Regarding who is the female lead?
It's Oh Yeon Seo. She replaced Kang So Ra role. The main poster is out and she was on it along with Rain, kimsuro, and Kim in kwon not LMJ.
Her character description is put above LMJ.
Her stills are releazed even before LMJ.
News states that she is the heroine of the drama despite not having love line.
The drama main story is about the two ahjussis, even the novel has very little part of the wife but i bet they will increase
It because LMJ is in it( she already made a fuss about name order)
2. This drama looks a lot of fun and i'm intrigued by the teasers and the writer wrote 200 pounds of pounds of
Beauty.
Rain will be challenging a funny role while Oh Yeon Seo acting as KimSuRo is a must watch. She seems to love challenging different roles.
3. It's against DOTS which is written by Kim Eun Sook. High budget and has Song Couple.
I just hope this drama will still be able
to attract decent amount of fans.

Hilarious how the news of the cast fighting over the cast order didn't mention any names and didn't mention gender, but people immediately assumed 1) it must've been the actresses, 2) it must've been Lee Min Jung, and then spread that information around as if it was fact. You people keep doing the most.

After ruling out the possibilities, the biggest candidate ended up on LMJ.
Knetz and Inetz can be judgemental but honestly she has such a negative image after getting tangled with LBH.
Moreover she can't act but keep getting leading roles with A list actors which ended up in failures but she still media play as the queen of rom com and some kind of top star.
Her name was behind Oh Yeon Seo and i think she is not happy about being the 2nd female lead. Her fans are complaining and still insisting that she is the lead while her company has to assure them by saying that she will have lots of screen time not lesser than OYS.

where are the articles for this? I haven't seen any titles accusing her of causing this drama so please direct me to the published news articles you're reading this from.
Also why does she have the negative image? she married the guy before any of it happened, and had his child while he was going through that scandal. How is that her fault? lmfao
And you're saying her dramas flopped bc of her and not bc of bad writing? production? other actors? overall not so great drama? really? that's a pretty big claim.
Please don't assume negative things about actors and post them in the comments of dramabeans. We're all here to enjoy DB articles and share our love for dramas. It's really putting off to see useless hate in these comments. If you have a problem, don't watch the drama lol.

i watch a little bit teaser of Dots but this one is soo much interesting!! Too bad Kang Sora declined this one. I know she fit so well but it's ok...I'm impressed by Oh Yeon Seo as early as now so Im dying to watch how everythng unfolds.
I also like the rest of the cast so that's a plus.
I'll give Dots a try though because it's Kim Eun sook:)

No, Rain's body is 100% natural and he works really hard to keep in shape. It looks like he's dropped some weight for this role and I know he's been dancing a lot lately. If you don't believe that's really Rain's bod, you've been missing out. Check out several Youtube videos for his training for his movie, "Ninja Assassin". WOW. Just wow. I know, Rain is famous for his more than gorgeous body, which takes much hard work to keep up, both of which I admire. Just that the divisions between individual abs look "painted in" with eye shadow powder in the first pic. LOL.

Rain's ghost will be searching for his wife (lee min jung) and oh yeon seo looking for his first love (honey lee) but what about their real character?
I know this drama isn't all about who ends up with who but it seems a waste if that sexy chemistry btw Rain and Oh Yeon Seo will be wasted.
Although i'm kind anticipating Oh Yeon Seo X lee tae hwan too. I was hoping they had find a better female actress for Rain because Lee Min jung is such a bad and boring actress. His last love interest (Krystal) was such a mismatched already..

This looks interesting and OYS looks splendid. Rain also looks 100x better in this than his last drama. I really want this to do well for him but its up against DOTS which has everything going for it for huge ratings. Both shows are very different though so I'm going to have watching both!

personally never rated Rain all that much as an actor as in one that seems to get better over time. He pretty much the same same in all his drama bar a few effects that makes you keep hoping for some sort of break through for him. Of course his time over in the USA did a lot for his bank balance and zero for his acting all pretty much B-grade action films, where his main selling point was his abs, and of course that brings me back to this drama and photo One, once again his main selling point on display lol
I sure that is only the hook though for the drama, after all he hardly the only male actor who seem to have to take off his shirt or have a shower scene at lest once per episode of a drama. Here hoping for a funny watchable drama!

I'd like to agree with you because DotS looks boring. But it is hard to guess k viewers' taste. KBS must think they have a winning combination of KES, Song Hye Gyo and their blue eyed boy Song Joong Ki. Just think of the hype, budget and the stakes. If only Goodbye, Mr Black will premiere at the same time because it would be interesting to see these 3 go head to head.

wow I love Lee Min Jung LOL. I'm happy her love line is with Rain! And I find her acting adorable. Unpopular opinion? I really wasn't aware :/ anyways, I'm super happy she's back!
This drama seems refreshing, and I'm excited for that. I'm also looking forward to seeing Oh Yeon Seo and Honey Lee together! now that's a sizzling hot pairing XD

Your not alone! I really like LMJ, too. I didn't realize people might be so against her... is it to do with her scandal a while back, or is she just not a hugely popular actress? Meh, I think she and Rain could be a wonderful (not to mention insanely gorgeous) pairing.
I wonder if there will be a romance between OYS and HL, too. I mean, Kdramas aren't exactly known for their same-sex relationships, so it would be pretty awesome. Or if not, an epic bromance? (I have a feeling we'll be getting a few of those in this... ;))

I suppose that's where our opinions differ. I've always thought that her acting is fine, not brilliant, but not awful; and her voice has never bothered me. I haven't seen her in a while, though, so perhaps I am just remembering her differently. Either way, I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, for the sake of the rest of this drama, because it looks like it's going to be hilarious. :D

If they consider LMJ to be "bland" which I highly disagree with, then they should be really blinded by their huge fandom for Park Shin-hye. Note: I loved PSH in, take note, Stairway to Heaven, Tree of Heaven and Goong S. But ever since You're Beautiful, the girl was overrated than she deserves. Her acting is flack flat and while she gets good screenplays, the credit should go to the director, the video editor and her co-stars.
Since she has many solid fans, let's give a credit to her charisma. But even her solid fans, deep down, know that her acting lacks a lot.

Stop whining and appreciate Lee Min-jung, who can do comedy really well (eg. Cunning Single Lady) and does not care about how UGLY she looks when she does comic scenes -- not that it affects her beauty in any way. She can also do dramatic scenes really well -- she cries really ugly. As in she destroys the dignity on her face just to cry all in.
I swear you haters will stop if somebody gives Lee Min-jung a well-written, well-paced melodrama screenplay.
(Yes because way back BOYS OVER FLOWERS days, I was Lee Min-jung's greatest hater, loud over Soompi Forums and Twitter. But the girl just proved me wrong.)
