Ex-idols and ex-marrieds look for One More Happy Ending

It’s about time that we saw a teaser for MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday romantic comedy One More Happy Ending, since there’s only two weeks left before it premieres. The new comedy is about thirtysomethings starting over in a second chapter of their lives, and stars Jang Nara (I Remember You) as a former idol girl group member who became a marriage consultant for divorcés, and Jung Kyung-ho (Falling for Innocence) as a reporter and single father. This does not explain why in the teaser he’s crossdressing as a pregnant lady, or why Jang Nara doesn’t seem to find it odd, for that matter.
The former girl group Angels has four members, now all in their thirties. Jang Nara is their leader, and she’s 34, divorced, and falls in love at the drop of a hat. She and Yoo Da-in (Plus Nine Boys) are partners who run a remarriage consulting agency called Brave Wedding. Yoo Da-in is also 34, and she married into a rich family when she was very young (she’ll be married to Kim Tae-hoon); as a Cheongdam-dong daughter-in-law she lives an uptight life for her son, but she’ll be facing an impending divorce.
Yoo Inna (My Secret Hotel) undergoes an image transformation as a lonely single 34-year-old elementary school teacher. In the teaser she complains about her friends marrying too easily, but clearly wants to find love herself. And the group’s maknae is Seo In-young, a quirky, fashionable 33-year-old who runs an internet shopping mall, who’s about to be married.
As for Jang Nara’s love interests, we have Jung Kyung-ho, an entertainment news reporter and single father. His showbiz reporter job must be why Jang Nara approaches him in the teaser to ask if he doesn’t remember her from her idol days (complete with embarrassing song and dance). Then there’s Kwon Yul (Let’s Eat 2) as Jung Kyung-ho’s best friend, the good-looking doctor who makes Jang Nara swoon. It looks like a pretty standard rom-com, but I like the idea of watching the ex-idol girl group grow up and figure out life after idoldom, with friends to back them up and cheer them on.
One More Happy Ending follows Sweet Savage Family on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning January 20.

"Angels" reminds me of ANJELL, the other fictional idol group! Anyway this looks pretty funny, I will watch it just to find out why Jung Kyung Ho is dressed as a pregnant lady.

I love Jang Nara and Yoo Inna! I have never seen Jung Kyung Ho in a RomCom so it will be a fun departure to see him in this kind of role.

It's for role playing! *Obviously.*
The mix of girls automatically makes me think of like the INR series or The Women Who Still Want To Marry (<3). If it can be as poignant on the right beats, I'll be all on it.
Gotta admit though I'm not big on Jang Nara. Don't know why since she's not a bad actress and she does some cool stuff with her roles--but somehow I rarely build affection for her while I'm watching?

Also, I adore Yoo Inna, but LOL at their attempts of making her less attractive. Guys are you even trying? There's gotta be better tricks to de-beautify actress than just wild hair and a very flushed complexion.
Like ya it CAN make em look like a mess, but it's hard to believe that it's not by choice...if they want to be pretty or something it would take, at most, a trip to the salon, some light foundation, and boom, movie star status.
OR it'd be more fun and believable if the wild insane look is on someone who actually doesn't give a fuck and thus can't be bothered to go through a makeover at any point in the drama.

I'm sure she's awesome and I have nothing against her as a person. Just don't like her persona onscreen. So far her 2 dramas I've seen (recently Remember You and then Fated to Love You) I never warmed up to her acting. Just saying :)

I watched all her k-dramat as well as her c-dramas and she always is the girl who can't observe the villain or to respond to them. She's always the fragile one and soooo innocent! Can't she change her roles now (she's no more in her 20-ies). Hope to don't be criticized by her fans. BTW wouldyou like her to be so unrealistic even if she is a grandmother?

So, Seo In-young is basically playing herself? I love, love Yoo Inna, she's one of my very favourite actresses. I don't have an opinion on the guys since I only saw a bit of Heartless City before I gave up (noirs aren't really my thing) and I haven't seen anything the other guys have been in. I'll be watching this with the most open mind. I hope for Yoo Inna's sake it is awesome. I need to wash away the bitter aftertaste of the disaster that was My Secret Hotel from my mouth.
Oh, and there is a lady where I work who looks exactly like Jang Nara. Same face, same build, even same voice. Every time I see her, I always want to ask if I can take a picture of her and tell people she's Jang Nara. Lol.

I AM REALLY EXCITED FOR THIS DRAMA BECAUSE OF JANG NARA. I REALLY LOVE HER FROM ALL OF HER DRAMAS AND THIS IS SO MUCH WORTH MY WAIT. I WATCHED THE TEASER AND OMO THE 40 SECONDS OF MY LIFE WAS RUINED,LOL. IT WAS FUN TO WATCHED AND REALLY GAVE ME THE TASTE OF THIS BEAUTIFUL DRAMA. (AGAIN, IT IS A DIFFERENT NARA SO I AM VERY LOOKING FORWARD ON IT)
I really love how jang nara explores new roles and characters and all of that becomes a huge success. I can't wait for 20th of January!!

I think you mean "Angels" is a 5-member group. Though Dara is not really part of the series and she's just making a cameo, she's also an ex-idol and part of their group in their heydays.

How can a woman can follow a man who doesn't like her as a woman/gf for ever? See the actual K-drama The Merchant Gaekju. For me this is something I can't understand. The women in k-dramas (that I always supposed to be not related to real situations) are splitted in 2 the one that can take everything as their karma/position or the brat ones who doesn't f...c.. about. I begin to believe that if a SK girl/woman put her eyes on you (making her bf/husband) you've got no ways to get out unless you're rude (ALWAYS) and NEVER meet her WITHOUT your friends and never touch her or be nice to her. If possible never be wiith her in the same around bce she can always charge you with abuse/(incl. verbal abuse), emotional abuse, aso. They are so mean. There are also the other ones (the good, gently, honest ones). it's up to you (your karma?) to find them
