Jumping in! Have a great day everyone.

Currently Watching:

I Order for You - I am liking this one. It's easy to watch and love the epilogues. I think it's fun, but I am looking forward to what the lead does when the second male lead makes his move.

Mask - Super love it. Hope there are more than 16 episodes. The last episode cliffhanger makes me curious as to what the male lead decides.

Orange Marmalade - as it is, I like it but I get frustrated thinking that in all his lifetimes ShiHoo isn't getting what he want then can you at least offer me another alternate reality where he gets the girl? Cause I am losing track of what the Joseon era means to the present day. (But maybe it's just me)

Oh my Ghostess - looking forward to watching episode 3. Did 1 and 2, I like it. Where it goes, I don't know.

High Society - 2nd leads are great actors but I want the male lead to shine, I really like him. Story wise I'm scared to know what happens next.

I Remember You - done with first 2 episodes and need to catch up on it, but I like the first 2. Solid episodes and makes you want to watch more.

Wanna Watch!
I can't start watching The Time I've Loved You - I'm holding on until it finishes airing. Though super tempted to peek at L on the 3rd episode. (LOL!)

Hey everybody...happy OT!!

Missed y'all last week, thanks to the holiday. Just spent a nice, quiet day at home with the obligatory bbq & catching up on dramas ;) It's been a hot, muggy summer so far & I'm not particularly looking for it to get even hotter, as per the usual summer around here -.-

Midnight Diner: I never would have checked this out had I not seen Kim Seung-woo on One Night Entertainment (SBS). It's been a while since I'd seen him on TV...I was a big fan of Win Win & loved his cameo on wife Kim Nam-joo's My Husband's Got a Family--wish I could rewatch that again, it's one of my faves. He was promoting his new drama, and how he learned how to cook because his character is the mysterious 'Master' chef of a small restaurant open from 12am-7am. Found it on Viki so I watched the 2eps available...and I like it! It's different from the dramas on TV nowadays...a bit 'slice of life' and definitely not be usual drama formula of rich people, love triangles & annoying family/in-laws (so basically everything on TV, haha). While Master whips up whatever you want to eat (no set menu), he's silently being a part of the lives of his various diners. There's a focus on one diner for each ep, and it's very interesting to see how he brings together people of various walks of life and helping them without being obtrusive or all up in their business. It's got a throwback kind of feel to it, missing all the annoying formulaic aspects of typical kdramas and telling an interesting story. It drew me in because I'm a foodie but I'm going to keep watching because of the storytelling. Apparently it's a remake of a jdrama (Viki explains it in the details) but something I wouldn't have known to watch, had I not seen the promo interview.

Hidden Identity: still watching this but DAYUM. They didn't have to have a psycho get all Tyson on us (I was not expecting that at all)...good gosh. The focus on the Ghost is becoming a question of whether monsters are born or made (which immediately reminded me of White Christmas and Gap-dong)...but it'll be intriguing to see how the writer is gonna separate themselves from these preceding dramastandards. I'm a bit miffed that Gun-woo is a bit flat as a character (nothing on Kim Bum, he's acting well) but I still think Team Leader Jang is SO kickass, literally (taking down all the dudes at once) and figuratively (against Prosecutor Parl). I was glad the team was able to get that ass of a rapist in jail with damning evidence stolen from under his nose (I relished that mission & takedown) and loved how the team got the money to pay for the victim's surgery. I'll still stick with it, but less gore like the prison attack, please -.-

Let Her Cry: elder sis-in-law is absolutely annoying, grating over-botoxed face who is doing everything she can to prevent Duk-in from marrying in & replacing her as fave daughter-in-law. I understand why she's called Viper.

Have a great weekend, y'all! ;)

Tara ~

Midnight Diner is based on Shinya Shokudo, which has three seasons , (watched those) and a movie, (haven't seen it.)

I recently watched all three seasons. Well worth watching.

I'll probably wait until MD after it finishes its run and marathon it.

I just finished Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and I can't understand how it took me so long to watch it. I loved it.

Don't know if I want to start Remember Me before it gets closer to the end. I prefer being able to binge watch a series over the course of a week if I feel like it.

Thinking about starting Pinnochio. I've hated Park Shin Hye in the last few dramas she starred in, couldn't even finish Heirs, but I heard she actually had chemistry with a male lead, so I'm sort of intrigued.

Although I like Park Shin Hye and have watched all of her shows, I have to admit that Pinnochio was the first one where she had great chemistry with her co-star. And I am not surprised to hear that they may be "dating" in real ... because their chemistry was quite obvious on set.
