Kim Sun-ah, Joo Sang-wook’s first stills for Masked Prosecutor

Kim Sun-ah is back! (Okay, I’m also happy that Joo Sang-wook is back, but the guy’s done a lot of shows recently and I’ve enjoyed most of them, so my anticipation right now is more about her. Sorry dude, but that’s just how the law of scarcity works!)
KBS’s Masked Prosecutor has begun shooting, and has released the initial stills featuring its two leads. Sadly there are no masks involved, which is a shame — because c’mon, nobody’s going to be watching Masked Prosecutor for the plain ol’ prosecutor bits when there’s the whole other storyline where he’s a secret hero at night, right? More mask, less prosecutor!
The stills here feature Kim Sun-ah dressed in uniform as she walks down a street in Hongdae, and come from a flashback to her character’s past. She plays an elite detective and the violent crimes squad chief, who’s never tempted to stray from the right path or crumble under pressure, and who presses on fiercely till the end. So she’s skilled and dogged, which ought to set her up to clash with the hero — we know Joo Sang-woo’s basically playing Bruce Wayne as his cover persona, all glib and polished (and materialistic to boot) in his day suit.
His fistfighting nighttime avenger identity (would one tiny mask shot have killed you, producers?) is driven to mete out justice against baddies, so while he and Kim Sun-ah share similar goals in reality, I’m betting it’s not exactly smooth sailing for them. He’s got a cover identity to maintain, and she’s got no fools to suffer. Can’t wait to see the action-comedy-romance kick into high gear; Masked Prosecutor takes over from Unkind Women and premieres later this month.

I really missed Kim Sun ah on my screen,when she disappears, she hides, no news of her or nothing, I was starting to wonder if she'd retired. she's my favorite actress so this drama is a huge sigh of relief.

I don't think her last TV appearance was all that long ago. It was a drama called "I Do I Do" or something like that.
The fact that she did not exactly shine in it (and also the fact that the drama bombed) might explain why she went radio silent since then.

One of my current favorite actors right now is Joo Sang-wook. Just finished watching Birth of a Beauty and Cunning Single Lady and absolutely loved him in both. We also have Kim Sun-ah in this AND the premise sounds awesome. Needless to say this is the drama I'm most excited about.

Gimme, gimme! *grabby hands* Serious Joo Sang-wook will take some getting used to again since I just finished Birth of a Beauty and his character in that drama was ridiculous, I can't even. I <3 both leads a lot so I really hope this drama is good.

As KSA fans....you wouldn't know how our feeling waiting for years to seeing her in small screen again, She just love her private time after having hectic times doing project, I wish she have more in this years, and then we can enjoy her appearance more. It's just I wish for the successful of this drama and good health for the cast and crew. Fighting!! She's so dam cool and beautiful in that uniform, can't wait to see her bad-asses in this.. yay

I'm looking forward to seing Joo Sang Wook wearing not only mask but preferabbly tight fitting outfit that will outshine Batman while showing off fancy foot works and some martial art moves if not real super power.
However, looking him in that suit is enough to make my day.

I like them both so I'm definitely watching this. I'm not fond of the superpower thing. But I won't complain if they put it in. If they do, I hope they pull it off nicely.

This guy always look the same! I won't complain though. I don't like it when guys sport long hair. I'm glad Kim Sun Ah is back though!!! I miss watching her in dramas, and last time I watched her in a drama, it was just bleh. Hopefully this drama will be good because I like them both.

after watching Cunning Single Lady and Birth of a Beauty, i got over my "drama grudge" against Joo Sang Wook in The Thorn Bird... i hated his character in that drama... it was torture...

OMG...get out of my head, Spazmo! Are you a psychic or what? I absolutely hated him in TTB! So undecided and conflicted when there was no confliction at all. I liked the idea of him being super steady about his feelings for the woman he loved, at first...he got on my nerves later. I had to watch almost all his next dramas just to remove that annoying character from my memory. So I get my hopes ridiculously up for this one! Even though it's in KBS...they're bringing back KSA,for crying out loud!

Kim Sun Ah is awesome. She's one of three korean actresses who I'll watch regardless of the plot, director, co-star, etc. She is just that talented and brings out the best in every one of her co-stars (can we say: My Lovely Samsoon, City Hall, Scent of a Woman?? just to name a few?)
On top of her amazing acting abilities, she's got unbelievable comic timing. Just can't say how much I ADORE her!! Squeals! So glad she's back on tv - her last movie was so heavy. Glad she's back to a romcom.

It has been only 5mos. since Kim Suna ssi was onscreen and I already felt that this was ages ago. T ^ T
I have a bad feeling if she's going to go hiatus again since there was a bad issue with her regarding the filming of this drama. I'm really going to die in drought if she will be gone for years again =(((
