Chun Woo-hee in web film Remarkable Woman

Chungmuro chameleon Chun Woo-hee (Vampire Idol) has been cast in Remarkable Woman, in a role quite different from her previous screen personas. The omnibus movie unites four rising independent film directors, who will each helm their own episode. Yoon Sung-ho (Dr. Jump, Milky Way Liberation Front) will direct the actress as she steps into the shoes of a glamorous bachelorette character.

Chun first caught viewers’ eyes as a rebellious teen in Sunny, and her role as the title character in the indie film Han Gong-ju earned her both domestic and foreign accolades. She’s a unique kind of beauty and a talented, credible actress who seems to take on each character with ease. In this first still from the upcoming web movie, she looks every bit the part of an elegant, attractive single woman, and I was really captivated by the transformation, especially since she played high school students in the two films mentioned.

Remarkable Woman is being labeled a film for confident single people, and it was created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Korean fashion magazine Singles. It will air on Naver TV Cast on August 25th.
