You’re All Surrounded teases parodies and fisticuffs

Ha, well an Abbey Road parody is one way to seal these guys as a foursome. You’re All Surrounded’s second teaser features the group of rookie cops — Lee Seung-gi, Go Ara, Ahn Jae-hyun, and Park Jung-min — on their harrowing first days as detectives in training at their new precinct, and screwing it up in every way imaginable. At least they’ll have each other?
Their new boss Cha Seung-won narrates: “I only have one thing to teach you. You will never be detectives.” After one expletive-filled rant he leaves them stranded on the side of the road, and warns them never to get caught up in fights. Cue bar fight (where I’m pretty sure Seung-gi gets beat up by a girl).
While Cha Seung-won plays the cold hardass team leader of the violent crimes unit, Sung Ji-ru (Goddess of Fire Jung-yi) plays the chief who coddles them like a mom and keeps winning them second (and third) chances. Cha Seung-won closes out the teaser with the line: “I don’t raise just anyone as my child!” Begrudging veteran cops-as-parents are going to be so cute.
With the preemptions to the drama schedule, Three Days has another week on the air, and that puts You’re All Surrounded’s first episode on May 7.

I don't completely understand why English-speaking fans call him ahjussi, unless they're super young. I've seen young Korean women (including middle school girls) call him oppa (like during the street arm-wrestling event on Win Win, at filming sites for Greatest Love, etc.). In any case, he'd be just Cha Seung Won, or Cha Seung Won-ssi. Ahjussi seems to be what a child would call him.

Korean movies and shows are not good with guns, or cars either for that matter. Which is kind of surprising since military service is mandatory for most males, you would think they would be a bit more realistic.
But then I think of all the stupid US shows that have some trigger happen gangsta holding the pistol sideways...

I know from the stills released there is a childhood portion where we get Eun Dae Gu's sad past. Though Ara's character is 2 years older than his so maybe it's not first love for her lol. But there is definitely a love line between them. I can see why they aren't using it to promote though. Yes, no husband game is a relief.

seung gi getting beaten up by a girl is like some fixed law in the first episode ,the gotta happen. i'm pretty sure the writer and the pd are seung gi fans ( who havent been so far)

the whole cast is super and this is what a real heirs should be like and hope it delivers to the hype and the huge expectations

Actually I had the same vibe, think about it, SEUNG GI mirrors Dr Dorian, Go ara is Eliott, & I'm pretty sure someone will play teddy Turk,
But the most important, is that CSW is sure DR COX himself, I really hope CSW can rant as fluently as Cox does!

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but often when expectations are great, the disappointment will also be inversely proportionate. If we expect less, then even when the drama does just relatively well, we will be surprised and pleased. If it doesn't, we won't be so bothered cause we didn't expect much in the first place.
I'm excited about the drama because my bias, LSG is in it. But I'm trying to moderate my expectations. It has a good cast, but good actors with a bad script and/or bad directing can't turn a drama around. Even good writers can sometimes fail, same with good PDs cos no one's perfect.

Everything works for this drama - the amazing cast, the bromance of Cha Seung-won and Lee Seung-gi (coz that's way more interesting than the romance), the trailers, the plot!! As in the words of Chandler Bing - "Could this drama BE any more interesting?"

It sounds good and looks good I just hope it delivers on all fronts or at least on 2/3 of it.
Ya know I hope there isn't gonna be any romantic entanglements between the rookies. I like it if they keep them buddies then possible romantic interests with love triangles or a love square. I want nothing to get in the way of awesome bromances and gromances? girmances? ladances? The female equivalent.

can't wait for the chilhood part where he might be calling her noona and the adult part where he's plays a differnt person under a different name. and wonder how that romance will work.
i have no complaints so far and only have high expectations and hopes for it , so drama u better not let me down
