Character previews abound with tension for Gap-dong

Gap-dong, the serial-killer-returns drama from tvN, has released a set of character teasers to whet our appetites for the thriller, and while they’re only bite-sized previews, they do quite a nice job capturing the intensity and fierceness driving the characters.
The cast is led by Yoon Sang-hyun as the cop who wants to avenge his wrongly accused father, whose character posters were recently released; we can anticipate a steady stream of releases to come as the other characters get their turns. The latest character ones to come out are Sung Dong-il’s shots, pictured below, featuring him as the veteran detective who worked on the original serial murder case who wasn’t able to capture Gap-dong.
As you’ll see in each preview clip, there’s a common theme running though them: So you were alive… Gap-dong has kept himself hidden away for twenty years and let the trail go cold, and the plot jolts into action when he resurfaces in the present day. The characters greet this news with varying reactions: Yoon Sang-hyun with hatred (“Thank you for being alive”), Kim Min-jung with trepidation (“Like me, you were alive”), Lee Joon with surprisingly creepy anticipation (“My hero, you were alive”), and Kim Ji-won with fear (“No way, it can’t be… you were alive…”).
This is gonna be good. At least, it had better be. Gap-dong premieres on April 11.

Yes when I first saw these I was just all over Yoon Sang Hyun being intense.
And Joon is super creepy...he's going to get typecast lol

Wow, I didn't know he's been doing mostly serious roles. His trailer here was really creepy.
I only know him from Running Man as the heodang(?) who ran too fast and hid so much, he lost his VJ.
Turns out he squeezed into this really small closet full of electrical wiring. O_O Like, the kind of closet you'd expect a kid ghost to come out from.

I can't wait for Gap-Dong to premier! I love this kind of stuff with serial murders etc. The more tension the better!
YSH and SDI look fierce and I am more than anticipating their chase of the murderer =)
Joon looks creepy which is great but I really hope that some time in the future he gets cast in a rom-com. I really want to see him in something light and fun for once! Though he does creepy and despicable quite well^^

This gives me the feel of TEN which I lovee. Plus there's Kim Ji Won, one of my bias atm, Idc if she's not lead yet, as long as i can see her on screen often! and also Sung Dong Il. This gotta be good, hopefully it'll get subbed *prays*

This looks intense and Lee Joon in 10s legitimately creeped me out. I remember reading about him as a barista that we assumed would help out YSH but after this preview, um is he going to be a disciple of some sort to Gapdong? Either way I'm excited.

I am so ridiculously excited for this! Yoon Sang-hyun is one of my very first kdrama loves, and I think it's a great career move for him to do something dark and twisty. Lee Joon looks like creepy personified, and I'm very much looking forward to Sung Dong-il's performance, since I've only seen him in the Answer Me dramas.
To be honest, I don't usually go for revenge dramas, but I won't be missing one minute of this one.

AHHH I can't wait!!! I'm likin' the cast so much! Kim Min Jung is unfamiliar to me, but she looks pretty cool in that brief 10 seconds. I love Yoon Sang Hyun, Sung Dong Il and the others. I'm so ready for a who-dunnit mystery!

You could easily locate all the assassins and serial killers in Seoul in one night if you just put out a national alert for everyone to take their bill-caps off at once. The guys who have them crammed down to shield their faces are all murderers, spies, and hit men.

Dear Drama Gods,
I know this is asking a lot, but can it be True Detective mixed with Hannibal and a nice sprinkling of The Following (leave out the messy bits) good please and thank you. Also I would appreciate if you would not having me falling for/kinda rooting for the bad guys cause they are just far more interesting than the inept good guys.

I have a question that maybe someone can answer. Wasn't Yoon Sang Hyun supposed to headline a drama back in 2012 or 2013 called I Love You, Ajusshi? The idol one where he wakes up and he's 17 again? or something like that. Whatever happened to it? Did it get cancelled? I can't seem to find any information. Thanks

The 10 secs teasers are so thrilling!!!
This drama was low on my radar, but now I am very interested in it!!
And oh my god! Lee Joon looks like a creeper....didn't find the guy normal to begin with and now....sorry MBLAQ fans...I like their songs though kekeke
