Joking aside though, uber-makjang and Song Seung Heon do not go together, unless they are going for comedy again. 'When A Man Broods' was brain-numbingly silly.

But let's see where they go with this. If nothing else, it should be good for laughs.

ah, actually i expected Go Ara to appear in a mini series as the lead character1. After AM1994, i become her fan :D . She proved that being in SM (and almost become a SNSD member), doesn't mean she isn't a bad actress and i think she's the best in acting among other SM kids (don't count SM C&C actress :) )

and i think her portion won't be as much as other lead cast.

on the other hand, MiYeon noona!!! i'm glad she's finally comeback to kdramaland. still worried about her concern to not back to dramaland

Another cliched gangster sucker from SSH. What happened to his vow that he will do lighter stuff after success of My Princess? I loved him in that drama.

Awesome cast... my favorite gangster Song Seung-heon needs to be matched up with the sweet Go Ara. Who doesn't want to see the bad boy getting a good girl! I can't wait.

the title "three foolish brother" is the first thing that attract my attention

The plot reminds me of a couple of old bollywood (hindi) movies, except in those the oldest brother becomes a gangster , the middle a police officer and the youngest ,grows up loved and pampered ,so happy go lucky

SSH, I don't like much for his acting, but looks, his humbleness, his adorkable appeal (on occasion) and his personality that you can't quite hate.

Despite the cast I have to say I'm a hardcore story fan. I'll watch ugly people act beautifully a really great story. It's my curse in life.

SSH needs to stick to comedy. Why does he always attempt melo? It's clearly not for him LOL And I see MBC has him on a lock. Does he hate the other channels?

So this is the Korean version of old Bollywood movie, Amar Akhbar Anthony.

The thing about SSH is that each time i see him i don't really see a vast improvement -- let alone an improvement at all. That puzzles me considering he's shown awareness and was honest about his lacking acting talent. Shouldn't he work at building his craft?All these years in the business and the only time i thought he was putting on a decent performance was in My Princess (rom-coms seem to be his stronger suit).
But he has a pretty face and a nice body so why am i complaining.
That said, i'm not cuttin' much slack for him since he's been in the k-drama industry for far longer than Kim Hyun Joong(in the current AOF) and yet KHJ manages to wow us (or me atleast) -- not only physically, but mentally. and emotionally. You see that improvement, that desire to reinvent himself as an actor.

I really enjoyed Swallow the Sun and I'm a sucker for stories about siblings, so I'd prolly give this one a go based just on that.

If they manage to lock in my Lee Bum Soo, then I'm sold. I'm totally down for another 20-25 eps of him.

I'd really have preferred Ji Sung as the gangster sibling, on account of him being a better actor and he's worked with this PD-writer team twice before. But I guess it'd be pushing it to cast him three times. lol

To be fair...I usually like SSH in gangster roles even if I 100% agree he's terrible at acting. Plus he's pretty and he seems like a nice person in real life. I can sit through him acting if everything else is great.

The biggest reason I had a hard time with Dr. Jin was cuz nearly everything else was a train wreck too.

I'm praying to the dramagods that the main sibling is Lee Bum Soo but something tells me it's gonna be the gangster middle brother instead. :/

Song seung heon alone is enough to keep me the hell away from this but go ara too?this will definitely suck.

I really like Lee Beom Soo (for Salaryman) and Im Shi Wan's (for Equator Man) so far. Song Seung Hoon- should stick to modeling. I normally either like a drama or am indifferent to it. Dr Jin was BAD (the original japanese one was GOOD though), bad enough that even with Lee Beom Soo on the show it was still bad.

Dr. Jin was the first drama I saw either in. And (until it imploded near the end) I was enjoying it. (I had just discovered Korean Drama and hadn't found this site yet--which has really helped me pick "winners" with the ratings. Still, I liked all the actors in Dr. Jin. The writing just was really strange.

SSH >> not really a great actor. because, he always play character that in his comfort zone. he is very rare to explore other genre, other character. thats why i think SSH is very lame as actor. made me bored whenever he tried melo. clearly because he is not really good in melo.

but as individual >> SSH is a very charm with his face and hot body.

as an actor , SSH and his fans had to have a big heart to receive any critic. critic is good for an actor because means atleast there are some viewer want SSH be better as actor in future. but if SSH and his fans could not take a critic in very good way, i suggest SSH change his job from actor to Monk.

i really like LBS >> to me , LBS is one of great actor in korea now.i am very in love in his new drama : Prime Minister and I , very sad because next week is the final episode.

i dunno, but after the disaster drama on earth : DR. Jin, i think i said no to this new & reunion drama between LBS and SSH. Because Dr. Jin made me very traumatized until now. one thing, that drama can not give me an answer is about the "fetus" >>> there is no anwser about fetus thing in final episode. arrgghh

LBS-SSH hot guy bromance? GUd, but pliz keep it in real life. It's painful for me to handle another reunion from them. Even Yoona can transform amazingly when acting along side Lee but SSH... haizzzz, i doubt there is any hope left for him, unless he's going through special courses from his hyung @.@ Now i just hope one of them will reject it. But if not, then jakganim 'd better give us lots of topless manbattle or hot shower of those two as painkillers XD

SSH is soso cute, fans will always watch. I mean really, that man was clearly created in a lab by some scientists somewhere, people are just not that pretty! And he is not so bad at acting (so much hate people, calm down), he just needs to step away from melos & stick to lighthearted romcoms - play to his strength of charming and pretty, &maybe not be afraid to be dorky sometimes too, 'cause that would be endearing.
