Why Do Dramas Do That?: The Book Launch!

Guess what, we wrote a book!
And it only took us a gazillion years! We finally got Part 1 written up (thanks monkeys) and ready for launch, and we promise we won’t take a gazillion more years to roll out Parts 2 and 3. Or maybe we promise to try. Because yunno… there are DRAMAS to watch.
In case you missed the first announcements, our ebook series is called Why Do Dramas Do That? and it’s about… uh… why dramas do that. We cover a whole host of our favorite (and okay, not-so-favorite) drama tropes, like oppas and birth secrets and live shoot madness, and dramaland’s regular company of players, like the Candy and her noble idiot prince.
The book is available via Amazon and Smashwords (links below), and between those two distributors you should be able to find a format compatible to read on your Kindle, Nook, Sony Reader, iPhone, iPad, PC, Macbook, or Android device.

I love your writing and it has influence my writing as well. I have also just written a book about my experience of living in shanghai. Since I am not american it is difficult for me to put in on smashwords. it is now on available on kobo.

Would us fans be almost as willing to purchase it at $2.99 instead of $1.99?
$1.99 = $0.70 royalties (35%)
$2.99 = $2.09 royalties (70%)
That's $1.39 more to javabeans/girlfriday for each ebook sold. Amazon ebook royalties is 70% from $2.99 and up. But only 35% from $2.98 downward.
To me as a fan of this dramabeans blog, $1 extra is so worth it because one of my favorite bloggers is making $1.39 more.
Please javabeans/girlfriday, change the price.

Btw is there a way of knowing what happened at the Seattle meetup? Like whether it was over-crowded, if there were any awkward moments, what was discussed, what food there was...whether anyone got drunk or a fire broke out etc.
Couldn't find any traces of the meetup on the DB facebook page or the latest open threads. Or will it be a closed thing for the people who met up only?
