A very, very, very busy fall season this year in kdramaland. Hopefully all the dramas premiering will be worth the hours we'll be spending to watch 'em instead of doing other useless stuff like sleeping, eating, or working...

AM1997 left great impression on me, it's so memorable that made Seo In-guk my first bias and became the most favourite drama of 2012. Because of it, I wonder will this drama surpass it? Or at least left the same impression on me? I know it's unfair to compare the two, I just can't help it. Until now, I guess no new series can replace AM1997 in my heart, but I trust the crew so I will watch this. Hope for the 1997 cameo!

I thought I saw Yoo Ah In there in the picture and was about the be puzzled the hell outta my head because YAI is so not in the cast list..... and then you guys listed the dude as Baro.

Thank you for the info! I'm really looking forward to this. I really liked Reply 1997 (up until the time skip) so I hope this will be as fresh, entertaining and full of heart. But since I didn't like INR 2 as much as its predecessor, I will try to temper my expectations.

The poster really hooked me! I don't know why though, it's like the poster told me : "I'm entertaining, please, watch me."

Oh...to me the time slots don't really matter since I watch them whenever I am free =) just can't wait for it. So far this year's dramas are not as outstanding as last year's like Queen In Hyun's Man and Answer 1997 =)

Trusting the crew behind the camera will produce a "really good" and at worst -a "decent" drama. I love AM1997 that I kinda hope AM1994 would not surpass it or else I would have another drama that I will spazz for months. Hahaha.

Anyways, i think the episode format will affect this drama a lot. AM1997 was a like a bundle of joy that is brimming at that short format..

But cable dramas are an exceptions (yes I am talking about you Vampire prosecutor, you my dear crime fighter with the super power crime solver as well the Flower Boys following)

And I am definitely MOST excited, ecstatic and pumped up to the hundred times over for this drama. I am helplessly waiting and I even booked that whole day as a DATE with them.

I think this will be the fun day when it touches down OCT 28. So looking forward to watching this since its gonna be the work of PD Shin Won-ho as well as writer Lee Woo-jung.
Answer me 1997 was the most prefect drama ever. hahaha from cast, plot, Staff, directing and writing. But for me the, writing is what really did me in. The writing was perfect!!!!

I agree with @Shy! AM 1997 was sooooo great that i dont think comparing the new version with the old one is a good idea.
I will watch the new version as a drama not related to the one i know. At least i will try to not relate both.

This post literally made me squeal. I can't wait for this drama! I'll try not to compare it too much to Answer Me 1997, but it'll be hard. That has been one of my favorite dramas a ever.

I think Go Ara was miscast. She lacks that spunk that Eun Ji I guess set for any following female leads in sequels or follow ups.

I can't wait for this drama. The first one was written so well and the best part was that many could relate to it. Hopefully they keep that same quality.

He Was Cool was the first Korean movie I watched and Jung Woo immediately caught my eye. Even though he had a small part there was something about him that made me want to see him in more movies/dramas. I had to wait for years but I'm so glad that he's finally made it and his talent has been recognized. He is, by far, the biggest reason I'm so excited for this drama.

My opinion on Go Ara is based on variety shows and talk show but I find her to be very likable. Like others I don't see her having that same sassy spunky personality that Eunji brought to her character as Shi Won but that's ok with me because I would be pretty disappointed if they made the new character the same as the first. I remember seeing Go Ara on Running Man a couple times and I thought she seemed to have a really fun, cute, spunky personality. She really put herself out there to have fun and participate in the games. It didn't seem forced on her part and I was actually thinking I wouldn't mind seeing her as a regular member since she got along so well with the cast and maybe have a love line with KJK lol. I had the same feeling with Ji Hyo when I saw her on Family Outing. I've gotten off topic, but based on her appearance for this show I'm thinking her character might have that same fun, cute, spunky personality so this may be a tailor fit role for her.

Not a fan of Go Ara but I'll still watch. Won't be as good as 1997 though

I can't wait for the this drama to air! But it will be on during midterms (I'm finally in college!! :D) so I won't be able to watch it with all of you dramabeanies. :( But after they end I think I will marathon the episodes to catch up with you all. :)

I love 1997's casts better for now, because I was already familiar with all of them even before the drama started.

I have high hopes for 1994 though, since it's from the same PD and script-writer. I don't have anything against Yoo Yeonseok even he usually plays a jerk, and I want to give Go Ara a chance to amaze me.

Anyways, Friday & Saturday time slots is amazing for those who watch it with subs internationally :)))
This way we can watch it Saturday/Sunday. (No more waiting for school to end on Mondays)
