I was really happy when I discovered that PSH and LMH were gonna be in this together, but now with YH again? jesus.
Well LMH is the lead guy so most likely YH will be the second and pinning for her love (which isn't that like YB?) anyways, I'm more excited for LMH and PSH than anything else.
I am sort of waiting for YH to de-confirm this...
*sigh*, but oh well, it's his choice~

Reports have already suggested that he doesn't even have a loveline with PSH, so I don't get what the big deal is. His character will probably be more like Kim Bum in BOF. He'll have his own loveline separate from the main couple.

I hope the 2nd ends up w the lead already. Lee Min Ho always gets the girl anyway. Time for a change.

You're beautiful is my guilty pleasure (BOF not so much), but I'm really hoping Park Shin Hye's character is nothing like Geum Jan Di, the pretend tough girl or Go Min Nam, the naive and vomit-inducing cutey...Please, please, let the characters be 3d. *begs on knees* lol

Writer Kim Eun-seok doesn't impress me anymore. Her two recent dramas, Secret Garden and A Gentleman's Dignity, were all fluff and no heart. They were only memorable for the small moments, but overall the dramas were forgettable. I don't even want to watch them again.

I will mostly be watching this drama, but fast forward some of the scenes.

Yonghwa's acting is mediocre at best, and that's stretching it far. I was getting all excited when PSH was cast, but now I'm not so sure anymore -__-

If you read the comments, for the bloggers here nobody is good. None of the actors or the writer, neither the storyline and settings (which they do not really know).
I hope all of you are very beautiful, know how to act, know how to write...and are perfect in everything you do. NO drama, story or actors are going to be perfect for you. If you want perfection, DO IT YOURSELF! If not, just sit relax, enjoy or if you do not like the drama...switch the tv channel and watch something else. Some people are going to like it and others will not...that is life, that is everything. The bad part is when people take it too seriously as if they do not have a life. At least somebody is working hard and putting some money to make a production you can enjoy. If you do not like this one, wait for your turn. Take it easy and be happy! Ah...you do not have the right to talk bad about anybody...unless you are perfect!

again!! why?! i think they look good together, but I don't feel the chemistry between them when i'm watching. It feels kinda of force, even in you're beautiful. Enough with the Boys Over Flowers, partial remake!The script is soo over done ;( I'm 95% sure I'm going to skip this one, even with Lee Min ho...

The writer seems to be a BOICE. JYW's guesting stint in AGD was a forecast of her next drama plans.

I hope that JYW would be last IDOl to be casted in this show.. good heavens..

I hope they would not cast Jung Eunji for the 2nd female lead role.. (please NO.. I love her so much that I can't allow her to take just ANY drama..)..

I have nothing against who these actors are on their own, but together, just not feelin' it.
This has nothing to do with their personality. Im just sick and tired of PSH esp not venturing out of her comfort zone and lee min ho regressing back to his highschool days (BOF). Can't KES feature newer, newbie stars? Give em a break.

I loved LMH in City Hunter although it was not perfect and then Faith came along, bleh. I forced myself and just couldn't endure it. I had high expectation of his drama after Faith hoping he would prove to be a solid actor. Now this, I am so frustrated. No offence to PSH and YH but put all three together in a high school setup, chaebol heirs and all, it just looks so predictable. Why can't LMH do something that will make us all sit up and not know what to expect? He needs to take on more mature roles like his peers are doing. There are younger actors coming up, it would be dreadful if he were to be compared with them. Imagine how great if LMH were to act a gangster or villain? That'll be something to look forward to.

I don't mind him being in the new drama with Park Shin Hye but I hope her and Lee Min Ho end up as a couple and JYH has another love interest. :)

The only reason I'm bitter of this news is that PSH and JJH are working for the third time together yet they can't pair Kim Bum and Kim So Eun in a drama again!!

Wow, the amount of hate in this comment section is actually pretty hilarious for how over the top it is. Folks are making predictions about plots and love lines and then getting themselves all worked up about it! It's like watching a toddler who started sniffling to gain attention work himself into a full blown scream fest just for the dramatics. That one comment with death threats takes the cake.

LOL I'm looking forward to this, especially if his role is going to be closer to his real personality - bright and bubbly - as he's hinted during a press con in Singapore last week. He was great in the 2 minute cameo in AGD - that side eye to JDG was epic. More of that please!

Some rumors that may or may not allay the fears :)
1. Likely not going to be a love line between JYH and PSH. Focus is more on LMH and JYH.

2. High School part may just be a small part of the drama to set the stage.

Wonder who YH's love interest would be this time? And looking forward to JYH-LMH bromance - if there's one thing this writer does well, it's that!

i like the fact that Park Shin Hye & Lee Min Ho is in the drama but I'm a bit dissapointed with the casting of Jung Yong Hwa, sure he was popular in You're Beautiful but i'm not really a fan of his acting sorry to say this but its true >___<

I didn't know what to feel when my dtr texted me that YongHwa has been confirmed as one of the casts for Heirs opposite Shin Hye and Min Ho....boy oh boy...

now i'm really interested as to how the story will play out seeing that the writer had personally chosen the lead casts and now YongHwa...

i just hope that everyone will have an open mind with the possibility that this can be a phenomenal hit like the SG etc...i'm keeping my hopes up since I LOVE Park Shin Hye, Lee Minho and CNBLUe esp YongHwa...

The storyline behind Heirs doesn't sound that great either... Rich high school kids and their relationships. That just reminds me of Boys Before Flowers. Srsly. -___-;;

wow! so many comments... I enjoy reading some of them. I wonder if anybody reads all the comments. This is really getting more interesting. I wonder when and how will this end with all the back and forth comments. The writer of this article knows how to catch peoples interest. This makes everybody run crazy and wild just to give comments. To the writer of this article, good job and two thumbs up!

I love the casting no matter what other people say. I'd like to look on the positive side of things who knows they might get personality overhauls with this new drama (at least that's what I'm hoping) We might get a timid LMH, a dorky JYH and a bitchy PSH. Just the possibility of that happening makes me excited. Though if we never do get that (I'm still praying drama gods) at least we'd get some eye candy and I'm sure a hit OST from CNBlue or JYH or PSH. Haha!

Coming from watching Hong Kong dramas my whole life, the repeat pairing isn't really a big problem for me. Hong Kong is a small place and their major pool of acting talent is even smaller, so repeat pairings happen all the time; and depending on who gets paired together, we get these same conflicting feelings of: "Ugh, them again, how about something new?" or "Ooh, I love seeing them together, this will be an awesome drama!"

Granted, South Korean entertainment is a bigger place so there are enough actors, idols, etc. to cover a wide range of pairings. Basically, I'm just saying that it doesn't bother me, and if that particular pair has good chemistry, OTP or not, they're worth a watch. I'm more open to repeat pairings, maybe only because I'm used to seeing them a lot in Hong Kong.

As for Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye, I thought they had pretty good chemistry in You've Fallen For Me. To be totally honest, that may have been the only thing going for that series that kept me watching it, because the rest of the series just sunk. Park Shin Hye is charming, but Jung Yong Hwa is better off sticking to music. I love Jung Yong Hwa and I love CN Blue, but I have to admit that the boy can't really emote to keep me interested.

But I WILL admit that I'm a superficial fan-girl on this particular train this time. Between Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye, I was already onboard -- both are charming and skilled and beautiful and two of my favorite of the younger actors/actresses, and since they're probably the OTP, I'm fine with it. Jung Yong Hwa is going to be a "wait and see how he does" for me, because while he wasn't great in any of his roles, he wasn't completely repulsive either.

Now the story line is what I'm worried about... older people being cast in high school roles usually doesn't bode well with me. Especially when you can clearly see that they don't pull off the teenager image at all. (Such as in Delightful Girl Chun-Hyang, or Jung Il Woo's Ramyun Shop role despite how much I loved him). Park Shin Hye maybe could do it, but the boys... I don't see them as high school age material.

My only hope is that this series isn't entirely set in high school. And no, I haven't seen Boys Over Flowers, so I can't very well judge the looks of it... but from the posters and pictures I've seen, they don't quite look like high school students to me at all.

Honestly, how about we change the setting more for college... or try casting actual young'uns in high school series?

OMG and LOL at how divisive this casting article is. I'm a CNBlue fan and I am the first to admit that he isn't the best actor (not even in his own band) but my hope is that he will have improved a bit more in his time off. I think Heartstrings was a bit of a mess (I didn't finish watching it) because he wasn't nearly ready to carry a drama. As far as PSH, I like her and I am interested in the LMH pairing. The ship Yongshin irl and the bts videos are always adorable but I'm a little suprised that they are going to be in a drama again because unless the characters are EXTREMELY different (doubtful since it's called heirs) that's a bit redundant.

Casting rumors for Yonghwa in this appeared before Shin Hye was added so I think people need to lay off a bit. The drama team seems to like him for the role and he was in a pretty hilarious cameo for AGD, so I'm going to keep positive. I'm more worried about this high school thing, because I would prefer if they were all college kids and LMH was a grad student or something.
