Speaking of Goryeo i just watched 1st ep of 'The Great Seer' and i cant help but see our current established Gongmin and Nogook of Faith in the ones playing there! And the baldy Yuan villain, i can so see him and Ki Chul being bffs! I didnt necessarily understand half the story but i guess its worth sticking around for and figuring it out eventually. Plus Jin Hee is a riot!!!

I agree about the Dr.Jin fiasco. If SSH really wants to continue as an actor, he should take a sabbatical for a year and study acting intently with a great tutor. I have seen better actors than SSH in high school performances. Eye candy is not enough - fine for modeling, but not for real acting.

He should improve his acting first before indulging with sageuk dramas. He can do rom-com (just like My Princess, i like him there), but a big NO-NO for heavy dramas..it doesn't suit him.

oh no, please ... not another sageuk. I so love sageuks, usually. Why don't you do a fluffy rom-com instead, Mr. Song?

Yoon Jae Moon should be great, he was great in King 2 Hearts. SSH should really just stick to rom coms

Why do people think rom-com isn't serious acting. That it makes us laugh shows good acting. It's not easy to be funny, you also have to have good timing and delivery. A lot of facial expressions also go into it. I didn't watch Dr. Jin only because the story was not compelling and what I have seen people complain most about so far seems to be about the writing and the directing. I have no doubt SSH could have done a better job either but I don't agree that he is a terrible actor since he does certain characters well. He needs to work on other type of characters, especially new types like the one in Dr. Jin. It's probably the reason he chose another Sageuk character right away so that he can keep practicing. I admire him for that and he obviously has something since they keep picking him. It can't be his looks alone, Hallyu is full of good looking men.

I loved SSH because... well he was my first drama crush from Autumn Tale... (jeez that was a long time ago) but after watching Dr.Jin... all I have to say is thank goodness he is pretty too look at... and I think I am going to skip this one.

Oh Ye Gods! Why are they letting this man take up another project? WHY?

After the hot mess that was Dr. Jin I am completely stumped here. I mean he IS pretty but seriously...that's just it.

He needs to take a study break. Please Drama gods...hand him over to someone who knows what they are doing. I mean, I love that he tries but surely he must know there are people not willing to suffer through another Song Seung Heon debacle.

the reason why he has that project is because he deserve it..he’s the one who deserve to play that role..that means he is better than anyone you are talking about…because he is very talented………..yah thats it..

SSH's acting may not be too strong but the bulk of why Dr Jin was bad was because of the writing and directing. Even Lee Beom Soo's role lost its shine in the end. No idea where the show or its characters were heading.

Look, like it or not, SSH obviously has something special about him and that's why he keeps getting cast into major roles. He has even turned down major offers. (yeah, surprised that he gets offered so much?) Think it's mere prettiness? Fine, that's your opinion (cos, without personality, prettiness can only get you so far. He obviously has something else besides that in order to have made it this big and this far, especially in Asia).

Wish that Lee Jun Ki or someone else you deem more worthy got cast? Well, they did not. Can't stand it? Hate SSH? Well...BAD LUCK, LIVE WITH IT.
