Park Shi-hoo bares skin for serial killer role

Helloooo, nurse! It seems decidedly wrong that a serial killer ought to look like Park Shi-hoo, but then that’s sort of the slick twist on his new movie. It’s an action crime thriller called I Am a Murderer, about a serial killer who literally gets away with murder… and then outs himself as a bestselling author and true crime celebrity, making him rich and famous for killing people. Jeepers. Jung Jae-young stars as the homicide detective determined to make him pay for his crimes.
The story is pretty awesomely twisted: Park Shi-hoo stars as a killer who successfully evades capture for fifteen years, and then once the statute of limitations passes on his crimes (ten murders in total), he writes a shocking tell-all biography called I Am a Murderer. It makes him famous overnight, and suddenly he’s enjoying life in the lap of luxury (hence the hotel swimming pool and team of hired bodyguards). I just love the sick true-to-life commentary on how being a handsome and well-marketed killer could get him fame and fortune.
Park Shi-hoo is chillingly cunning in the trailer and stills — publicly asking for forgiveness for his crimes like the guilt is what’s driving him, all the while enjoying the notoriety like it’s all a game. Jung Jae-young plays the lead detective on the case, or rather the ex-lead detective, as the case is now dead in the water. He’s the one person who refuses to let it go, and thus begins the game of cat and mouse between the man who got away with the crime of the century and the cop who’s hellbent on getting justice.
What a great setup; I can’t wait to watch mind games unfold. Bring it on. I won’t be fooled by the Pretty!

There is a statue of limitations on murder in Korea? Wow... that's really tough on detectives & prosecutors.
This kind of thing drives me crazy. :) But seriously, i hope he gets some justice in the end. He looks so good in the role as in devilish and evil.

Oh wow i really love the idea behind this movie! i've always hated the thought of there being a statute of limititations for crimes. And i see that park shi hoo being the murderer is going to make me conflicted! Can not wait!

I first watched him in Family Honor (or Glory of Family) and I totally loooovvvveeed him.... squeeeeeal
After that, I went back to watch him in Prosecutor Princess, Perfect Neighbor and Queen of Reversals.
I suffered through the Princess' Man because of him. I can't watch Iljimae because his character is so sad. So there....
That's how I got started with my fixation on Park Shi hoo. Siiggghhhh.....

good thing i started to watch Iljimae. at that time, i'm a big fan of LJK..then when i watched Prosecutor Princess, it made a PSH fan out of me..HA! then i decided to watch The Princess' Man and How to Meet a Perfect NEighbor.. :-)

Oh, god, creepy! I got chill in my bones just by looking at that smile and stare of PSH.
So far I've been impressed by Lee Jun Ki, Song Joong Ki and Park Shi Hoo's acts, how they can show this mean/sadistic streak so subtle and then change into your "perfect flower boy neighbor" in a snap.
It scares me because it means there are people like that in real life. *shudder*

omo! you've mentioned all my favorite actors!!! they can really do dual personality characters..
i love the three of them..but i love PSH the most..second will be SJK, third is LJK..
you can also add Joo Won..he can be mean and gentle at the same time..

Ok trying to contain myself, but the inner Park shi hoo fangirl is, well FANGIRLING out!!!!! I will and must watch this movie, I have been actively waiting for it ever since it was announced on dramabeans after the Princess Man. I know PSH is going to be creepily awesome. It will be really cool to watch him use his Charisma for evil instead of good. Above all I love him for his acting/connection he creates with his characters.
But also I love him because hot DAMN he is HOT. I can't even..... His smile is indeed killer!! If he wears sunglasses and smiles simutaneously then I might have a bit of trouble rooting for his demise. Hot + evil is still evil right!?!
Makes me even more excited for Alice to come out! Pictures from that please!!!

Park Si~ Hooooooo! I'll hate myself for drooling over this scene, i know he suffered much for it. ㅠㅠ
The wait for COM has been long overdue, but i know it'll be worth it; the marketing/PR team for this film has taken full advantage during the promo period. Setting up a site for LDS, churning out excerpts from his book and interviews from professionals/fans/etc. It's really a creative approach. There were some new footage released and the atmosphere is definitely chilling; PSH as LDS is chilling. What i'm enjoying most at the moment is PSH and JJY's chemistry on- and off-set, they make a pretty fun and wise duo!~~ COM Team fighting!
