Kim Min-hee and Lee Min-ki cast in new romantic comedy

Well this is a pair I could get behind. A new romantic comedy film is in the works, called While Breaking Up, starring Kim Min-hee (Moby Dick, Love and Marriage) and Lee Min-ki (Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Chilling Romance) as a couple who break up and make up over and over again. Kim Min-hee hasn’t confirmed, but the prospects are good, and Lee Min-ki is reportedly signed on to be the leading man.
The movie will follow the roller coaster relationship of a workplace couple. They’ve been together a long time, and have managed to keep their relationship a secret from everyone they work with. The story recounts their many break-ups and make-ups, and they’ll come to discover that their love is the real deal… in the process of breaking up. Of course. You never know how much you want it till it’s gone, yeah? Sounds like lots of bickering peppered with adorable cuteness, if all goes well.
At the helm is a female director, Noh Duk, who earned acclaim for her short film The Secret Pride Within the Mask. This will be her first full-length feature. With those actors headlining, it’d be a tragedy if it didn’t live up to its potential. No pressure or anything!
While Breaking Up plans to head into production next month for a release early next year.

Sounds cute! I've missed Kim Min Hee in dramaland...hope she'll make a comeback some time this year..afterall this has been the year of comebacks for so many actors

At firts, I thought it was a drama... reading further... it's a film.

I want a drama, too! I'll watch anything that Lee Min-ki is in, but somehow I don't think that films bring out all of his awsomeness the way that dramas do.

I remember that he's the main reason why I watch SUFBB anyways so I was disappointed that he's only doing a cameo. Good thing SUFBB was a great drama.

Funny as I read the plot of workplace couple who kept their relationship secret from their workers and the breakup and makeup they go through and adorrable cuteness, the only thing that came to mind was Hotaru no Hikari with Ayase Haruka.
But's it's going to be mostly breaking up and making up over and over again story I might have to pass.

The story little bit like I need romance 2012.. they've been together for long time.. and they had this break up-make up over and over.. but hopefully those workplace makes it lot interesting..

Ah damn! I got too excited and somehow skimmed over the word "film". I thought this was a drama until I hit the words "feature length" and was like wait, what??? and scrolled back up.

I am glad to hear about this news! But, I thought it was supposed to be a drama, hahaha. I really want to enjoy while watching drama, ofc. :D Well, I haven't seen this actress Kim Min Hee for a long time....I wondered why she still isn't back to dramaland....hmm...??
