Rooftop Prince’s cast pose for sel-cas

The youthful cast of Rooftop Prince poses for a few light-hearted sel-cas featuring a mix of Joseon-era garb and modern-day wear, which in Yoochun‘s case translates into a tracksuit topped with a kingly hat. Even a prince has gotta be comfortable on the set, don’tcha know.
Above is the crown prince’s posse, which consists of Choi Woo-shik, Lee Min-ho, and Jung Seok-won, all of whom travel with him to the 21st century to confront newfangled current-day Korea with (I’m hoping) hilarity and hijinks. Because that premise is just made for hijinks. A crown prince confronting computers and cell phones and toilets? Not to mention the look I want to see on his face when he realizes that the monarchy is long gone. Sorry, buddy, you’ll have to stand in line with all the other commoners.
Pictured below is series lead Han Ji-min as the princess, who’ll have a modern-day doppelganger who captures the prince’s heart. Man. And I thought King Hwon’s eight-year pining for a dead girl was extreme. That’s a drop in the angst bucket (full of teaaaars, naturally) next to Princey’s 300-year torch-carrying.
Rooftop Prince airs on SBS beginning March 14. I’m crossing my fingers for a fun ride.

I am so looking forward to this drama. I like Yoochun and loved Han Ji Min in Yi San. So I can't wait for the pairing. Plus, the plot seems really fun and interesting. I can just imagine all the shenanigans. Like someone mentioned I would love to see them watching a Sageuk and how they react to it, LOL.

heard that this drama gonna air on the 28th of March because of the extension of the Captain (sorry can't remember the title lol!) drama by 4 episodes. is it true?
fans of this drama posted so many photos from the filming sites and it seems that the prince and his minions really is gonna have super hard time adapting. even the LQ photos from the filming set bring laughter lol!

I have been following the Take Care of Us, Captain drama and have not heard of any extensions. It is actually gathering fans internationally. It is a good human drama, with warmth and depth. Good acting from all the cast. Low ratings do not equate whether the drama is good or not. Of course the Moon and Sun drama is a ratings hit. If there is an extension, it will be to give the Rooftop Prince a good start so it won't go against the Moon and the Sun. I hope not, as I never like extensions for any drama as it will only make it draggy.

Yupe I've been following Take Care of Us, Captain too and as far as I'm aware, it's 20 episodes and will broadcast its last episode on 8 March. Haven't heard anything about the extension.
I think SBS wants Rooftop Prince to start the same time with King 2Hearts; as we've heard that TMTETS may be extended by 4 episodes. But TMTETS PD has denied the extension rumor.
And please no extension for both TMTETS and Take Care of Us Captain. Both are actually great dramas, I enjoy both of them. Agree that low rating doesn't mean the drama is not good.

I'm looking forward to Roof Top. But in the meantime I've been watching Take Care of Us Captain and loving it. Too bad about the rating it's actually quite good. But never heard of any extension I thought it was for 20 eps.

Sorry, to bring this up here, but I have to correct this. She didn't just touch his face, she hit him across the face, with enough force to turn his face to the left, and create a sound. She was reaching up to do it again, so he grabbed her wrist, but since her hand was by her head, it looked like he grabbed her hair.
Hey, don't get me wrong, I was one of the people that were ready to crucify him at first. Then it came out that the video was a rumor that had already been dismissed in 2009, as fake.
It did seem strange that both spread fancams were 17s and 19s each, when usually fancams are long and filled with tedious Kpop fan nonsense (sorry Kpop fans). Plus, the continued protest from the Korean fandoms that the story just wasn't true.
Finally, I showed the video to someone who knows about videos and has nothing to do with Kpop, and he said from the direction of the hands, the girl hit the guy. And looking at the contrast in the video, it is unclear if the guy held her head, while trying to grab her hands to stop her.
Sorry, for the long post. Just adding my 2 cents. I do feel bad, because I fell for the initial rumor, and contributed to the unjustly smearing of Yoochun.

I don't see how this one can lose.
Of course, that is someone who believed the original premise of METS was going to blow me away and it didn't deliver.
But really, when isn't kingfish out of royal pond not funny, and as you said, the past dealing with modern day conveniences?
The jokes are easy and make us giggle.
The cast is cute and fun.
Interested to see how Han Ji-min does opposite Micky. Since she is the noonah by 4 years, that dynamic will be different from hers and Jung Woo Sung's. JSW's pure masculinity, confidence, and, I don't know what to call it - being good with his hands? - made their interactions in Padam Padam compelling. She just needed to show up and react to him to sell that chemistry. [drifts off thinking about being in JWS's hands...]
I will be watching this for sure!

I guess Chunface would really help hilarity of the story, esp. when imagine that they cross 300 years to modern hi-tech society. It seems like everyone anticipates this promising story. When I first saw a clip of the quartet shooting in YT, I thought they were a bit awkward. But, after seeing this selca and so-into-drama characters tweets between Yoochun and Minho, it seems they're getting along well and looks more chemistry now.
Is it me or just the 1st photo that yoochun looks a bit aged? ;p

Me three, when I first read the plot, it reminds me of Kate & Leopold. I hope it's gonna be as much fun like K & L.
Saw the pics of the Power Rangers, it's hilarious.. I bet they don't spend too much time in the Joseon era, and Micky travels jump probably starting from episode 2 onwards.
