Of course it is. It portrays realism. People must shower so they can be clean. Its good to have a dose of reality in a work of fiction.

I don't know if it's necessary or not....but I can never erase that visual given me when watching him with his bare butt exposed in "He Who Can't Marry". Wait, or is it "She Who Can't Marry". See what his butt made me do? It made me forget the title of that drama.

agree with your comments Isabelle; wish they would have her in a different hairstyle!! Where's the imagination? I guess i will skip this drama - the stills are not enticing enough. Not even the shower scene!!

I agree with GHS kissing scenes. They don't look romantic at all. And her hairstyle is not helping.

Message to Gu Hye-sun,

1. You should have considered changing something in you , so we could feel we are watching something new – the same hairstyle in consecutive shows is not working for us.

** I agree with you regarding with the hair change, I hope that the Please Captain hairstylist will read your note**

2. Are those one hat fits all ? May be you can ask for a smaller hat, that looks like you borrowed someone elses hat.

1. can you not have any kissing scenes with GHS and anyone ? coz it actually kills the romantic pairing if there existed any – it was only coz of Lee Min Ho that BOF pulled through.

** Are you kidding me, only LMH that BOF pulled through!!?? You should watched the BTS video of their kissing scene., and hey, GHS is already a STAR and LMH is just a neophyte actor in BOF. Again the Director wanted the kissing scene to be that way in BOF. Who knows, you will be surprised with GHS and JJH romance in this drama.. WELL fasten your seatbelts sweetie! because GHS and JJH will fly you high up in the sky :)**

I think that they are scared of the competition : Have you seen all the shows starting at the same time ? And with big awaited stars. They are trying to attract as many viewers as possible, using the cards they have in hand. I can't blame them for that honestly.

The answers to your questions:

1. I highly doubt she's gay. She sports that hairstyle because it's CUTE. Longer hair would appear less cute. Cute short hair means she can act cute and forever 18 and pull all those expressions that she is a master (mistress?) at.

2. I think she has long passed the age where Korean girls are deemed too young to kiss. Emphasis on the LONG.

3. I doubt she's religiously-inclined and frowns on kissing. She would have become a nun and not an actress if she had been so inclined. But the nuns would probably have cured her of the many expressions she is fond of pulling. But this is beside the point.

So why does she clamp her lips tight and squeeze her eyes shut when she does her 'kissing' scenes? The answer is obvious. She is shy. She hates kissing in public. With a million cameras, lights and eyes trained on her, she freezes. There is a name for this. It is called Public Kissing Phobia, PKP for short.

Public Kissing Phobia (PKP):
This is an affliction that strikes many Korean actresses. Some recover, some don't. Some are driven to desperation to cure this affliction. No man or woman is safe from these desperadoes as they grab and practise their kissing skills on them before the Great Scene. Cameramen and extras have been known to suffer the most from the actions of these desperadoes. Thankfully, GHS has not degenerated to this level. Yet.

Actually, I've seen so many complaints about various horrible kiss scenes that did not involve Gu Hye-son. Han Chae Young, for example, has been accused more than once about her lack of kissing skills.

No, we do not watch for the kissing. But we do hope that if you're going to sell your romance, that you're going to try and make us viewers believe you are in love, we need the kiss to sizzle. Even a closed mouth kiss can sizzle if done right. And if you as an actor/actress can't convince the viewers that you are a OTP, than you just wasted the viewers time.

Dear, for me I care less about the kissing.

What important is the acting and she failed at that. Very badly. There are many subtle way of portraying an awkward first kiss etc but major complaint is she CAN'T act.

The way she laugh, smirked, an exaggerated expression, similar expression for almost everything, no substance etc.

Goo Hye sun is the best choice to portray the JANDI character in BOF.

Her comedic timing is amazing, I didn't see that acting/skill in other actors. She made me laugh, cry, stunned in this drama.

I feel as if I should watch any one of her dramas and see what the hoopla is all about. Boys Over Flowers was a long while back, and I skipped through it a lot because it was "meh" to me so I have no idea if she's as good and/or as bad as people say she is.

I agree with you. She and LMH had great natural chemistry in BOF. Love them in BOF and so did many others who thought so. BOF is very popular all over Asia.GHS also had great chemistry with SJS in Pure 19.

am I the only one here who didn't think they have a chemistry during BOF? Even Soeul couple outshines their chemistry on screen *IMO*

As much as I was mad for BOF back then and the Jandi-Junpyo pairing, I did think that she had more chemistry with Ji-hoo and that Jun-pyo had more chemistry with Jae-kyung.

Maybe the kissing scene wasn't memorable in BOF, but I remember that I still squealed out loud over it. Oh, wait, now I remember the scene where Jun-pyo swooped in to kiss her in the street. Now that I liked.

If it's a great kiss scene, I'm happy. If it's not, I'm still happy. I look for the feelings/emotions behind that scene more than the actual kiss itself. I'd rather choose to see a simple peck on the lips with all the pent-up feelings behind it than a random torrid kiss just because...or to raise ratings.*coughltmcough*

There is no way on Earth I'm sitting through another drama with GHS. And I've seen Pure 19. It's a shame, because I love JJH and LCH. Sorry guys, I'll catch your next dramas.

She's a regular Renaissance Man - perhaps she'll find some area to excel in and focus her talent - but I seriously doubt it will be in the acting field. Producing or directing, maybe, but acting? No.

I think it's not that she's an interesting person ... it's more puzzlement than anything else ... like trying to get the answer to a perplexing riddle. I think she was lucky to have a one time hit in Pure 19 and was able to ride on that success with BoF with the help of the popular and handsome male cast but her luck is definitely running out.
