Go Jun-hee joins cast of Twelve Men in a Year
by javabeans
With the leads cast in tvN’s upcoming rom-com miniseries Twelve Men in a Year — that would be Yoon Jin-seo (Runaway Plan B, Return of Iljimae) and Oh Joo-wan (My Love By My Side) — it’s time to turn to supporting leads. Go Jun-hee (What’s Up Fox) joins the cast as a stylish, free-spirited photographer.
Her character is a pro about her work life, but not too concerned about things like romance. That’s not a lot of info, but she’ll probably be the friend to our heroine, who embarks on the mission to date twelve guys in the year before she turns thirty. Perhaps she’ll advise her, or maybe she won’t be of much help at all, given her indifference to dating. In any case, I can see Go Jun-hee in the role easily, since she’s a former model and known for her stylin’ fashion sense, and also has played slightly offbeat types before, like in What’s Up Fox (when she fell for the cranky, eccentric ajusshi 17 years her senior).
Twelve Men in a Year will premiere on February 15, a Wednesday, which means that cable channel tvN is expanding its prime-time programming to cover more nights. Ever since they joined the prime-time lineup, they’ve been sticking to one original drama per week (they do have other original dramas, which air outside of the standard prime-time broadcast slots), such as I Need Romance and Birdie Buddy.
When this drama hits airwaves, the channel will have Shut Up: Flower Boy Band on Monday and Tuesday nights, and Twelve Men on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It’s a great thing for diversified programming, but oy! A terrible thing for those of us already conflicted up to HERE (points two feet above head) about what to watch and how we’ll have the time to squeeze it all in without going crazy, or blind.

Last time I've seen her she was quite ineffective as second lead in Can You Hear My Heart?
I like her presence on my screen but she doesn't do well sexy confident type. At least in CYHMH Hwang Jung Eum was more than flashy in those young sport style yet ahjumonish clothes. Maybe is just me.
I loved her in What's Up Fox? and in Hello My Teacher.
BTW she meet this with her co-star from Hello My Teacher Jung Eui-Chul in Yeosu (released in 2011).

I actually really liked her in What's Up Fox and CYHMH. Her character "types" were such that she could've played them straight up unlovable, but she added such charm to the roles that I actually really liked her.
I think she did a great job there and just might be fun to watch here as well... :D

Her relationship with Cow Ahjusshi in What's Up Fox was why I kept watching that show. I wasn't really interested in the main couple.

Oh Joo-wan!!! Yay!! Let me say that I discovered him and his vests in My Love by my Side and fell. Hard. He was the baddy, but I didn't care. God, that smile...
Anyway, adding this one to my list. Also, can someone please tell me where I can find Chosun Police (Season 1, 2007). I've looked everywhere!!!

I've liked her in everything I've seen her in, frankly it bothers me that no one's let her try a leading role yet, at least not that I've seen
