2011 Beanie Awards: Vote for your favorite dramas of the past year
by javabeans
It’s that time of year again: Polls, polls, polls!
To keep up the Dramabeans year-end tradition, here we are with the Best, the Funniest, the Crackiest, and yes, also the Underwhelmingest dramas of the year. (To see how past years shook out, take a look at the 2007 Polls, 2009 Polls, and 2010 Polls. Yes, I skipped 2008, which was a decidedly unpopular decision, so who am I to mess with tradition?)
As in years past, this also kicks off our annual Year End Review Extravaganza. In the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out our wrap-up reviews summing up 2011’s offerings, so keep your eyes peeled for them! Past years can be found with this handy-dandy Year In Review tag.
But for now, it’s time for YOU to cast your votes and tell us what rocked your socks, buttered your toast, and tickled your fancy this year.

Warrior Baek Dong Soo is falling so far behind in the votes!): Looks like there aren't really that many of us here, after all. :/
WBDS was quite well-liked in the Chinese community...
And for the best Bromance, really? I voted for Un-ah and Dong Soo.(YSH and JCW) because well...as much as we all want to bash DS over the head for being such an idiot and letting Un down...he's still the only one who even remembered to mourn for Un after everything ...all the jerks who went on to live happily ever after and forgot about Un!)':
^^; LOL. I rant too muchXDDD

I'm I the only one that has a passion for Royal Family or what? I honestly think that was one of the best dramas of the year. Deep and compelling story with amazing acting and character development. There was no fluff, it just got right to the point and stayed there. Hardly predictable and it kept you on the edge of seat throughout the whole drama. And the ending OMG one of the best endings I ever saw. All the epsiodes were so intense except for the last one. It was like you able to take this breath of fresh air for once. Thats how intense the drama was and I thought that was excellent layout. You will not get bored trust me unless you dont like serious/complex dramas. I found some people to be annoyed/frustrated because of that. And man the chemistry between Lawyer Han/Ji Sung and Madame Kim/Yum Jung Ah was FANTASTIC. The drama does not revolve around romance a whole lot which I think is a nice touch to the drama, it revolves more around betrayal, redemption, loyalty, power, money and all those other aspects. But I was satisfided to see Ji Sung basicly go gogogaga everytime he saw her. Honestly Ji Sung is like the Perfect Man in this drama lol. You would have to watch the drama to understand. I want to say more but I might spoil it lol.
Wow I really love Royal Family XD. I honestly think this was the most underrated dramas of the year :(.

lately i've been follow TV drama 'Brain', with Shin Ha Kyun as the lead role (and i loved his acting ^^ brilliant!)
.. and i think it's one of the best korean drama this year. Although these is not the first medical drama, but i think the storyline is so refreshing .. and twisting (two thumbs up for the write)
I can't believe that this drama wasn't even on the list :(

Flower Boy Ramen Shop had good looking guys, but that was it. Nothing else to the drama and I was bored out of my mind. Perhaps I'm the weird one because, for the life of me, I cannot understand why so many were raving about this one.
