How is it that the same person can have a face that goes from 12 years old to 40 years old??? Kim Bum in the first picture is in his 20's. In the red jacket and in the yellow shirt he's in his late 30's to 40's. When he grins he's 12.

And I gulped at that newsprint shirt picture. That stare. Made every part of me stand at attention. Yes, sir, Kim Bum, sir. Whatever you want, sir.

I do not understand the obsession with Kim Bum. He does look more manly from his BOF days. I do believe with hard work, and experience ,one can improve. Picking the right role definitely helps a lot. Many A-list actors will tell you that the plot/script and character development are the first things they look at.

This drama may turn out to be interesting and the lead couple look adorable together.

It's so simple if you don't like the actor don't watch the drama. Simple.

I personally think with effort people can become great at whatever they choose to do.

Personally Kim bum is a very young actor and still relatively inexperienced. He is not goddam awful nor is he great but I think with time he could be.

I never get when people say that a certain actor just needs to find the right role. Because technically if you are an actor then you should be able to play any role regardless of whether it suits them. It's all subjective anyway- since I may think someone did well on a role while another person may think

Kim Bum's best talent isn't his looks it is that his characters always have this sense that there is a lot of enjoyment in life even when life isn't good. It isn't just angst.

Even if he doesn't grow to be lead material, he could become a new 2nd lead to break our hearts. :)

Sorry but actors like Kim Bum, Jang Geun Suk and Jung Il Woo are just commodities being marketed for their beauty but talent none!

Actors on the same league like Lee Min Ho, Yoon Shi Yoon, Hyun Bin really are actors for having talent! Baeksang and network acting nominations are clean proof that their acting is being recognized by the credible people in the industry and not fangirls!

Sorry, Yoon Si Yoon won recognitions including baeksang for top actor! Few can only do that since it is the years top 5... Yoo Ah In is talented but still needs his big break! :)

Kim Bum is be-still-my-heart-gorgeous, but I believe he sacrificed a few pounds to get those cheekbones. Noona says to eat more protein and just a little more heart healthy fat. You can keep the cheekbones if you also do a little weight-training. That said I still saved most of your pics :)

Finally! Shots where (to me at least) Bummie looks like a grown-up and not a teenager going through his awkward I'm-too-tall-for-my-body phase. I just knew they had to exist. Thank you, JB! You've re-made me a believer ;)

I dont know why but i really love long hair on most if not all korean actors, its soooooo sexy, or very short cut /not for army/, i really dont like it when hair is covering forehead and it goes to eyes /there are some exeptions eg. best love dgj/...

I've seen Kim Bum in BOF and some of him from TWWSWTM (but, I didn't finish it...) but, I never really payed attention to him. I like that this drama doesn't stick him into a "pretty boy" role because even though he was pretty (I'm glad he's more mature looking and handsome now) those roles didn't seem to suit him imo.

I'm gonna seriously pay attention to him in this. I also like the idea of him as a street smart, ex-criminal, guardian angel type. Looks like he suits more serious roles more.
