Lee Dong-wook added to Wild Romance

So the rumors were half-true: Yoon Eun-hye isn’t taking on romantic comedy series Wild Romance, but Lee Dong-wook is.

He’ll be joining Lee Shi-young, who was recently cast as the female lead, a judo athlete turned bodyguard. He plays a baseball player, and their relationship gets off to an inauspicious start with some “unpredictable bad luck.” I foresee lots of comedic clashes in their future, before the antagonism turns to love.

I love Lee Shi-young — she can make even the worst writing somewhat watchable (see: Poseidon) — and I think Lee Dong-wook has solid comic chops, so I’m looking forward to this pairing. But more than the casting, I’m particularly keen on this drama because it comes from writer Park Yeon-seon, who wrote Alone and Love and Mixed-up Investigative Agency, both of which were standouts. Directing is PD Bae Kyung-soo of Infamous Chil Sisters; actor Oh Man-seok has also joined the cast.

The drama is set for 16 episodes and premieres in January. It’ll air on Wednesdays and Thursdays, in the post-Man of Honor timeslot.

I think LSY is a great leading lady even though this will only be her second as a head. She's a pretty good actress.

the perfect lead actress for the role is Lee Da Hae. She
work well with Lee Dong Wook.

I dont think so. Lee Da Hae is too weak for this role. All she wants is to look pretty. For this Judo/bodyguard role it is required that the actress can kick butt and LDH doesn't fit that criteria.

LDH was unwatchable in "My Girl" and I'm afraid her acting hasn't improved much (based on "Chuno").

LDW kinda has a double-double eyelid thing going on.

57 button eyes

Nobody's mentioned, or noticed, that LDW has had his eyes done. They are now so distractingly round, like button eyes, that I don't think I'll ever watch him in anything again. Plus, in the top picture, you can see that he's wearing eye makeup, but very subtle, like we're not supposed to notice. Check out his old pix if you don't believe me. Just praying that Lee Jun Ki doesn't have HIS eyes done, when he gets out of the army!

I mean...make-up for an actor is nothing new,lol, so I don't see that being a big deal.

But besides that, his eyes look the same as they always have--the right eye (his left??) is still a little droopy-lidded. I feel like if you're getting your eyes done, that'd be the first thing you fix. Looks like he's wearing colored-contacts though, so that could be a reason why his eyes look bigger to you.

But, yeah, he's a favorite, so I'll be looking forward to this drama. :)

i just watched the first episode i didnt expect it to be nice and attracting but it kinda was.
i liked it. i will watch the rest!!!!!!!!!
