Gong Hyo-jin cameos in Flower Boy Ramyun Shop
by javabeans
Huh — did you know Gong Hyo-jin and Jung Il-woo were good friends? Me neither. But thanks to their friendship, we get this special cameo by Gong in tomorrow’s episode of Flower Boy Ramyun Shop.
This particularly tickles my fancy given that this drama started out as an updated version of Biscuit Teacher Star Candy, which is where Gong Hyo-jin played a young teacher and Gong Yoo was her Cha Chi-soo. Kind of. (Ramyun Shop definitely diverged in its own direction after a few episodes of the school-centric, Biscuit Teacher-esque setup.)
Given Gong’s Pasta background, I was hoping for a little Chep-related inside jokery, but instead she’ll play a record store clerk. Chi-soo asks her for help in locating the tune that Eun-bi’s always humming to herself, which, Awww. Something tells me his request is likely to be ridiculous rather than romantic, though. Just a feeling.
Gong said regarding her cameo, “I’m enjoying the show. [Jung Il-woo] is really doing a good job. I even found myself becoming a fan of Chwaaaaa Chi-soo, too.” After finishing the shoot, she said, “I’m excited and trembling to be appearing in Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, which is enjoying such hot popularity. It’s only a short part, but it was fun to come to the set and act with Jung Il-woo and Lee Ki-woo. As a viewer, it’s such an entertaining drama.”
Gong Hyo-jin’s appearance comes in Monday’s Episode 9.

Actually, I prefer this hair to her greatest love hair, she looks gorgeous here, while she looked more plain there. But I love her what ever her hair style :)

I thought her hair looked cute. I didn't think it was very helmet-y. I could have a bias since I had a similar haircut years ago.

Yay. Awesomeness. Does any one else think she slightly looks like After School's Lizzy (best known as a previous cast member on Running Man)? Is it Monday night yet? No? Darn.

No, I see Lizzy. I think it's the hair colour and the nose shape? Maybe even the shape of the face?

This is a Good News day. I was just thinking about GHJ a few minutes ago! I'm excited about her cameo but also a tad disappointed we won't get the awesomeness that a "Yes, Chep!" would have been. (Why, oh why, aren't JB and GF being hired as script consultants?!)

Good to see GHJ on screen again. Amazing how a hairdo can make one look so different-I didn't recognize her at first! Can't wait to see her mainlining another show. Thanks for the heads up JB!

Biscuit Teacher is definitely worth checking out. Took a while to get used to Gong Yoo as a high schooler but once I was onboard, he was totally captivating. Very charming and heartfelt performance from him and of course GHJ is terrific.

Totally bought him as a high-schooler (he's got that goofy charm), but found the whole second-lead guy and his plotline tiresome after the first half or so.
Still worth it for the adorableness of Gong Yoo!

She looks cool, makes me want to paint my nails.
And it's Monday, yay!! But I just read on en.korea.com that the director said: “It’s both possible that Chi Soo becomes Eun Bi’s boyfriend or that Chi Soo grows up as Eun Bi and Kang Hyuk finally fall in love," What??!! sfdsgjhgghfghft I seriously don't think I can't take broken-heart-Chwa

if it's the latter i'll be kinda heartbroken!! While i do find KH adorable, hot, et al. I don't find that scintillating and sizzling chemistry with EB yet that CS shares with EB!! sure, he's still a high schooler and all....but gahhh this show'll be the death of me!! :/

THAT CANNOT HAPPEN. No matter how hot this 'Panda' is I'm still wary. He 'thinks' he can do *it if it's Eun Bi - Hah! Not good enough for me! I want firm and resolute assurance of My Fantasy Ramyun Bliss.
And in My Fantasy Ramyun Bliss their is absolutely no wiff of doubt that Cha Chi Soo can deliver. That chemistry, it's sizzling and I'm burning from it's cold laptop screen presence.
I think I'll go into depression if he doesn't get his girl and 'grows up' - ahgoihsdogh what does that even mean!?!?? Arrggggg.

She's my favorite actress next to Kim Sun Ah. Love them both so dearly! Now I'm even more excited about the upcoming episode! Never thought that would be possible but I'm happy to be wrong.
Never would of thought she would be friends with Jung Il Woo. But then again acting circles are amazingly large, diverse, and intricate. She's probably friends with a crap load of people we would never have figured.

LOL!! Poor girl !!!!!!
So first a tyrannic Chef that sees her as a goldfish VS the mysterious Cactus admirer.
Then a Narcissistic Star that needs his heart to be recharged and kept between 60/90BPM VS a smitten gaga doctor.
And now the Lazy Panda VS Crazy Prince Highschooler ???
Damn, that woman has really a talent to find problem guys.
She should try a therapy with the Me Too flower psychiatrist Mr Park. Just try avoiding a certain Sexy Double Life Pain in the ass valet parking and maybe also Smirking Smexy Vampire Prosecutors.
What ? i'm out of context ? "baldonde ??"
I can't help it ,i definitely adore korean dramas boys and gong hyo jin seems to have so much in common with me...:))))
