surprised to see so many comments abt KHJ's nose..oh well, if he picks a light and fluffy drama, i might give it a try.. and yes, he rocked the Perm look..i watched a few epis with him in tht hairstyle just to satisfy my eyes and heart:)

I liked him only on WGM with his 4D character, paired up with Hwangbo was awesome. I couldn't watch BOF just because of him. His acting is/was awful. I even didn't try on PK though ISWAK,the taiwanese one, is one of my all time favourites *sigh* I don't know him as a singer but wouldn't they be better off as SS501?! but they had some agency troubles too, so maybe it's difficult to go back.

is it just me or does KHJ look every time like another person but not really himself?
I dunno whether he has undergone some serious plastic surgery in the last past years(okay his eyes and nose look like plastic surgery.. but who knows right?) or someone's got serious issues with too much Photoshoping...

LOL, he was so bad in BBF, not much better in PK, but I actually liked him in the latter. He seems so random it´s hard not to like him or his bad acting. TBH despite their huge popularity I have never liked those two particular stories - I was ashamed of the girls and I disliked the guys from the bottom of my heart :-)) Those 4 were jerks and the other one was Mr. Meanie - Kim Hyun-joong made it more fun with his "acting".

I am not a fan of his acting in his previous dramas, but with hard work and experience and good directing he will improve. The key is pick a role that will bring out your acting style. In my humble opinion, a bad boy character will suit his style better. Of course pick a drama with a good plot and script. You can never go wrong with a wellwritten script.

Please just don't ruin anymore dramas. PLEASE. KHJ, you are a singer, not an actor.

harassment comes in different shapes and forms,it could be subtle or blatant….as far as l’m concerned picking on somebody’s physical appearance is considered one. i’ve been there…. i was made fun of in school because of my pug nose, my fat legs…. then when I came to the u.s. … it was my english accent… it was a painful experience… ironically we adamantly fight against “h” in school and work place. sadly based on a lot of the comments, khj is an okay and fun target of such treatment. khj works very hard to get better in whatever he does. yeah, I admire this perseverance and dedication; given time, he’ll do well in acting…. huh, i guess I have to brace myself with the negative comments coming my way for being his fan.

IMHO, I like his acting. Since BOF, I watched him without knowing him at all (i.e. don't know that he is a singer). He has his own charm in a gentle way. His role does not provide him to sharpen acting skills. But my tear does drop when Jihoon cried... Anyway, after that I followed up him and found out that he is actually a singer (who is quite talent in terms of development). I believe that it would be nice if we give him a chance to prove himself. He is a person with good mind and always try hard in whatever he do @^_^@

The nose is not bad, it's supposed to be just like his natural nose. I mean, if he wanted to get a pretty nose he could have just gone ahead and done it, but this nose looks a little squishes, just like when he first debuted.

Just to clear things up, the first surgery he got was back in 2008, before WGM. I'm guessing that's when he broke it and decided to "get it raised". But it ended up looking weird, so at the beginning of this year he got another surgery to get his "original" nose back.

About his acting, U guys seriously need to tone down.. I can feel some deep down hatred for him but if it wasnt for his acting in BOF and PK how do you think he got the huge fanbase he has now.. I was totally in love with Ji Hoo and he's completely opposite from who he is which just proves he did a pretty good job in portraying the role.. And though I dont like teenage themed dramas, PK was really well made.. I didnt watch it just for KHJ..

The best acting he ever did was playing himself on WGM. That was pretty convincing. He gained a lot of fans after that acting job. He portrays a young man falling head over heels in love with a noona so convincingly that the coupling is still gaining fans to this day. If you haven't seen his WGM cuts, you'll see a side of Kim Hyun Joong you've never seen before.

I really enjoyed KHJ`s acting.When I watched him for the first time on screen I didn`t even know that he was a singer.After that I searched for him and I found out.So it might be possible that everyone else who thinks KHJ is better at singing than acting is because of the fact that he first sang and then act...My opinion:he`s succeding at everything he puts in his mind.

I think its safe to say Hyun Joong's fans are more attracted to his charming 4D personality, though his looks and dancing sure helps *DroolZ*

Well while on the topic of noses, I think Lee Min Ho's nose looks more refined in City Hunter compared to his BOF days...

There are 2 types of actors--the natural actor who came out of the womb with a skull in their hand and a soliloquy on their lips, and the other kind who needs training. Some people only need a bit of training; some need a lot.

I can tell you right now that the only thing that makes someone who isn't a natural actor good at their craft is practice and hands-on execution. That's a wordy way of saying that you can take all the classes in the world, but you won't get what we call "chops" until you actually get in front of people and practice the art of creating a fantasy. All that having been said...

Playful Kiss was the first K-Drama I watched, and I enjoyed KHJ's performance. For me (as an actress), it was real. I really believed that he was a cold rich boy who deep down was capable of strong love. When I watched BOF, I honestly didn't have a problem with his performance, either. After doing a bit of research and finding out that it was his first gig, I can tell you from 20 years experience that he did a d*%m good job for a first-timer. Anyone who has been in the craft for as long as I have that wants to refute that (based on knowledge of actual acting training), then I challenge me to show me footage of your first show and gauge it using the same meter they're using to judge his performance. The child did a fine job. No, he doesn't have the range of Lee Min Ho just yet, but he will get there as he gets older, gets in touch with himself, and learns how to connect with his character. Just my opinion...
