Han Go-eun joins Me Too, Flower!
by javabeans
Another actor has officially been added to the cast of MBC’s Me Too, Flower!, with Han Go-eun (A Man Called God) now confirmed. She joins Lee Jia and Kim Jae-won, who were cast earlier this week, and plays a sharp CEO, described as “an impeccable amazon businesswoman.” Yeah, I can totally see it.
Lee Jia plays a petty policewoman, with Kim Jae-won as her love interest with another girlfriend on the side. At first it sounded like he’d be a straight-up two-timer, but now his parking-attendant-by-day, lingerie-company-owner-by-night character Jae-hee is also called an “undercover boss.” I wonder how that plays in…
Han Go-eun’s character discovers Jae-hee’s talent and helps him get to his current position of success. I suspect she has an interest in Jae-hee that she doesn’t act on right away, because she starts to feel jealousy when she realizes he’s got an interest in that policewoman Bong-sun. As a result, she starts to manipulate Bong-sun’s stepsister, Dal. (Ah! Dal was described as Jae-hee’s nighttime girlfriend, so reading between the lines, I’m guessing it’s Madam CEO who makes that happen.) Ah, why is romance so complicated?
Some rumors have named Seo Hyo-rim for the part of Dal, and while those rumors appear rather vague, this drama has had a pattern of: rumors, deny-deny-deny, then confirmation of casting. So who knows, maybe she’ll end up signing on after all. As good as she was at being bitchy and manipulative (Scent of a Woman), Seo can also pull off wide-eyed innocence and liveliness just as well, so I’d be happy to have her cast.
Me Too, Flower!, which comes from the writer of My Name Is Kim Sam-soon and the PD of Queen of Housewives, will premiere in early November.

Oh God, it's the AMAZEBALLS Vivian in A Man Called God!
:O
She's amazing. I'm glad she got another project. Wasn't she in some movie recently? The lesbian-themed movie that became controversial in Korea?

As wacky (in both good and bad ways) as A Man Called God was, I really enjoyed Han Go-Eun's Tor!Tured! Vivian. Mainly because she added to the campy humor, albeit unintentionally, but also because deep down she made me care about her Tor!Tured! misguided self.
Whether or not Seo Hye Rim gets cast, I do love her being cute. I still remember the SKKS episode when she and her friends go to the betting ring to follow the details of the great archery contest. She was bundles of cute. And she has the big, big eyes and grin that stretches from ear to ear to play wide-eyed innocence down pat!

I wish she was the main, not Lee Jia...she gives off such a sexy independant woman vibe. Gotta love her for that. I especially loved her in Capital Scandal...
ugh, whatever.

IKR! IMO, HGE is a better actress than LJA. Ugh. I still can't accept that KJW will be partnered opposite LJA. I really hope that HGE will have much better onscreen chemistry with KJW so that maybe *crossesfingers* she'll be made to end up with KJW's character. I know I'm getting ahead here but it's just a wish. I'm still trying to psyche myself on how I will bear to watch this drama with LJA in the cast. Ugh. I hope HGE + KJW would prove to be enough incentive for me to watch this one.

Me too! HGE is an amazing actress with very strong screen presence. LJA is no match for her. She'll easily upstage LJA. What are the directors and producers thinking?!

She's the 2nd in my list of forever favorite actresses, after only Kim So Yeon. Fell in love with her since Bodyguard.

She was more than fantastic in Capital Scandal, I don't understant why she wasn't given more offers after that...
This is good news ! I also think she's a better actress than Lee Ji Ah, although I loved her as Sujini in The Legend.
Thanks for sharing the news ^^

She is so hot (coming from a girl). And i love her deep, husky voice. Girlcrush! She's the kind of bada** woman that I'd like to see more on screen.

"Lee Jia plays a petty policewoman, with Kim Jae-won as her love interest with another girlfriend on the side".
I thought for a moment that this meant she had a girlfriend on the side...my hopes went wayyyyy up - then settled back down. Sigh!
I'll watch it anyway but, javabeans, you really has my heart beating for a minute.

I've always wanted a drama with a long triangle involving one guy and two girls. The one girl and two guys thing is overplayed. Love Kim Jae Won, love the KSS writer, and looking forward to HGE, so definitely looking forward to this drama.
