Kissy stills from Scent of a Woman

Lots of Scent of a Woman stills these days, not that I’m complaining because I have high hopes for the weekend SBS show, heroine-with-a-terminal-illness premise notwithstanding. Plus, I’m a big fan of both leads, Lee Dong-wook and Kim Sun-ah, shown here in Okinawa almost kissing (but not quite — curses!).
Not to be a downer, but they’re not really heading for a kiss in the scene, although surely we can dream on. Ji-wook (Lee Dong-wook) is actually fastening a necklace around Yun-jae’s (Kim Sun-ah) neck, which she receives as a gift after participating in a beer-drinking contest.
Scent of a Woman is an upbeat romantic comedy about an ordinary woman who decides to enjoy her life when she finds out there’s not much of it left. Eom Ki-joon and Seo Hyo-rim play spoilers in the main couple’s romance, but judging from the stills so far, our leads look like they’ve got some great chemistry going. Ain’t no second leads about to take them down, am I right? As for the sickness storyline, I’m actually pulling for a Joe Versus the Volcano scenario here, where the death issue is resolved with humor and satisfaction. (Hey, it’s a good movie. No, really. Don’t judge.)
The drama premieres July 23.

also, i didn't think that i would really like KSA and LDW together, but they look SO GOOD! (although i think they both look a tad gaunt...) hopefully there's even more chemistry than meets the eye!

Gong Yoo in S Diary and She's On Duty, Lee dong Gun in When It's At Night...all my favourite actors but she's such a great and awesome actress that she needs good co-stars :D can't wait to see how the chemistry will be like

Oh, and I think not many actresses can convincingly pull off the 'death is nearing but we can till laugh' direction. I trust KSA in this area!

But my favorite is Cha Seung Won with her. Although I can't wait to watch this drama since I miss Lee Dong Wook so much, but I hope she gets to act with Cha Seung Won a second time. But I think she can pull some chemistry with any actor if they're good enough :P

I've been looking at the latest stills for the whole day and I simply can't get enough of it. And then I'm happily surprised that JB has started another thread for Scent of a Woman~
I think LDW and KSA together look just absolutely cute. I can't wait til July 23!! Lord please would SBS keep giving us goodies like this so that I can get through the period of waiting?

Suna, looked so gorgeous in every scene. Playful as always, i`m just happy that she is having fun while working and hopefully after this drama she wont leave her fans for years.

You also deserve to relax, one hour of not studying during weekend, is not so bad, after watching this drama, i`m sure you have the energy to go on with your studies...hehehe.
I`m just thankful that my 3 kids will have their exam on the 18th, meaning I`m free on the 23-24th of July.

I wonder if Kim Sun-Ah purposely made herself that skinny to play the role of a sickly dying woman in this series. Looking at these stills, especially the last one with the beer, she's very fragile.

She acted in a movie Fighting Spirit and she portrayed the role of an ill wife, so she had to lose a lot of weight.
I`m surprised that she accepted this drama, wherein she will be dying or may be not. Lets wait and see!

So many movies with happy endings that this show's premise can be compared to that I wonder if this show will even let our feisty heroine live and give us a "happily ever after". Aiyo~ I'm excited and yet am worried about the potential heartbreak. Eeeeeeeeh~

Sorry. I have a hard time with plot lines involving cancer. Or any terminal illness, really. 49 days was sort of okay as a whole, but I still felt kind of gypped at the end.

If a consumate COMEDIC actress ends up dying in one of her shows , it'll shock the dickens outta everyone!! I for one , will be paralyzed & zonked into a stunned mummified state! Like , " Wa..Waa...What...happened?! Huh..? Is there a catch to it...? Er...is someone gonna wake up to a bad dream..?ERRR..Wa..Waa.." AND the shows gonna bomb cos NO ONE thinks its creative or artistic to kill off a star known for Romantic comedies! Unless , the writer hs a 'death wish' upon his work , he won't kill our Sunah!! ...unless ,as i said , he's CRRaZZZYY! (@_@)

OK, I LOVED Joe Vs the Volcano. Tom Hanks won't even talk about it, like he's embarassed, but it's one of my favorite TH movies, and has WAY more to it than the silliness would lead you to believe.
And you probably won't see this comment, since this is a 2 month old post and I just saw it, lol.
