my first thought was that it was reminiscent of haeshin (emperor of the sea)'s plotline.

and then i realised, oh right sageuks are always based on such a plotline.

the actors really do interest me, but the shots less so. i tend to judge sageuks on the richness of the costumes and the set i think, which hasn't done me wrong in the past. not saying that i judge a drama by what it looks like, but it tends to be a good mark of how much is invested in the drama.

I'm a fan of history (historical dramas and films) and Sageuk brought me to K-drama land so this is a treat for me.
I'm currently watching Gwanggaeto the Great and although there is no English subs I still enjoy it. I'm waiting for King Geunchogo to be over so KBS can air Gwanggaeto here in the States, hopefully with English subs.

Im not digging the main poster eeeesssh too many swords, I hope that means there will be a lot of actions and less politic. I love the veterent and child actors for this drama. I'm not familiar with the lead actors except for
Yoo Seung-ho.

Hmmm....the poster does need some work. I hope the drama is more artistic in its delivery. The English scanlation of the manhwa was started since week and since I'm always interested in the original work I'll be reading that too. I'm hoping this drama delivers because right now I'm feeling for another sageuk.

Would you just look at that cast!? Salivates.

Still a bit put off by the fact I was lured into this drama following Nam Ji-hyun and now she's just some small, insignificant character who doesn't even have a spot on the poster. We waz conned!

Though that poster... erm, could be better. Yeah, that's kinda a compliment: Could. Be. Better.
