LOL great storytelling javabeans. If only the real drama could be as interesting...:D I'm especially enamored with the "fantasy" concept - the guy died and saved by the Maria-like Park Min Young angel XD
this drama seems to suffer from an identity crisis. The trailers were weird. Some shows can blend genres well, like...Desperate Housewives (not saying I like all the dramatics), but my hunch is that this show will just be schizophrenia on steroids...

Actually I don't find the posters at all outlandish.... they match perfectly the moods of the original anime series....

Mother/father tragic sob story is there in the original, Happy team picture also features in the original (pink pants must be "in" this season in Korea I guess.... XD) Mastermind criminal enemy, check; kinda tear-my-heart-out-because -I-don't-think-we-can-safely-be-together, check, even the waterposter makes sense, just watch the ending "my name is woman" from the original OAV...

So to me the elements make sense... I'm more cautious about how they'll actually translate in this new remix of plots....

Lee Min Ho's arms distracted me for a minute and I tought Hey! This could work!...Maybe not. Or maybe Im wrong and this would be awesome. Judging by the poster i doubt it, but lets keep the hope. If it turns to be really bad, at least let it be the funny bad.
I hate Lee Min Ho's hair. I know that half of the men in Korea have it (maybe 3/4?), but its not for him.

muahhahaha... i def think this is going to be a fantasy story about a hero who dies and floats in limbo…in water…above a city at nighttime…guided by an angel in the sky. TOATS. anyways, this plot works for me since i've been starving for some lee min ho and park min young ain't so bad herself, though i'd wreck her in judo any day. esp for lee min ho.

Such a contest with the Ripley posters.. Intriguing and unique compared to this!!! The only pic which is good is the second one. Were they trying to jazz things up with different versions.. Of different themes??? the strangest one is angel/drowning one!! Lol

So watched the trailer. Since he's doing secret ops/ emo stuff after they already met, I'm getting "Time Between Dog and Wolf" vibes here (which i believe also had some scenes in Thailand), along with "Rivals".

I think i'll try to watch a bit of it for some eye candy but if it's the crackfest I imagine it to be then...i'm out to keep up with the 50 other k-dramas out coming out soon.

Though I gotta agree with you. I honestly don't know what this drama is about. The posters are so misleading...cause you honestly don't know what the posters are trying to tell you. You can get it's gonna be an action packed drama but then the whole angel in the sky while falling &the gone with the wind just makes it look super cheesy.

&what's with the fonts for the drama title it's so Iris-ish..seriously is that the only font they have for all of these action dramas?

I'll still watch it cause I like the Mins so I'm hoping they have chemistry, if not then such a fail

The commercial marketing at the end of 49 Days seems just as all over the place. It starts heated romance and then switches it and gets action drama on you.

Tough stuff to swollow, I hope it comes together when the drama starts.

UM...I hope ya'll chose young actors for a reason. You can't mix heavy war stuff with young, fresh zeal! Unless you have some with proven, solid acting chops...meep. It's either win or lose with this one I think....I'm hoping it's good though! I've never been a huge fan of LMH, but the more I seem him acting...he grows on me. And he's actually a fairly good actor--looking forward to it.
