Could there BE any more stills from 49 Days?

(I just love the above shot. I love the placement, the curious look from Jung Il-woo to the soul-in-limbo, Nam Gyuri, and that’s just the plain image from the photo shoot. A finalized, photoshopped promo image ought to be mesmerizing.)
There have been a whooooole slew of stills from 49 Days, such as yesterday’s batch, and I hope this overexposure doesn’t turn potential viewers off before the drama even airs, in the way that I recall growing tired of the constant promo stream from other dramas in the past. But I’m so intrigued by this cast and premise that I’m just eating it up. (More, moar, MOAR!)
Below, we’ve got the entire (very, very pretty) main cast together, who are, from left to right in the first shot: Lee Yo-won as the hijacked body, Seo Ji-hye as a potentially villainous frenemy, Bae Soo-bin as the smart businessman fiancé, Jung Il-woo as a Reaper offering afterlife guidance, Nam Gyuri as the body-hijacking soul, and Jo Hyun-jae as an architect from the U.S.
These promo/character stills also give us a better clue into the pairings in the drama. And while we can hardly draw conclusions from mere promotional images, the stories suggested in them offer pretty good clues as to how things will unfold. For example, Jo Hyun-jae has top billing among the men and he’s paired with Lee Yo-won, so we can bet he’s the main love interest, not Bae Soo-bin, who (sigh) is again Mr. Number 2. One of these days, Bae Soo-bin, one of these days… (Just not one of these 49.)
Ha, I’d wondered what turns Seo Ji-hye from friend to rival, and I shoulda guessed it was a man. Isn’t it always the way? Again I’m drawing inferences here, but it’s pretty clear the ex-BFF moves in on her friend’s man pretty quickly after she’s out of the picture. And not in a nice, respectful, decent way: We know from all that black eyeliner. With that much kohl in play, we’ve got proof enough of her perfidy. It’s like a rule, isn’t it? (Plus, there’s those shifty side-eyes she’s making.)
Jo Hyun-jae’s still the biggest question mark for me, because we know the least about his character. It’s nice to see him back from army duty (despite the fact that he’s dropped an almost alarming amount of weight, no?), but I confess to wondering about the chemistry between him and Lee Yo-won, which I worry may be on the low end…
Why, hello there, Hot Reaper Boy. You spare lives AND you play the guitar? Swoon. Finally those curious headphones you’re always wearing make some sort of sense…sorta. But whatever, do I care? It’s Iljimae Jung Il-woo!

Gosh, even a mention of That-Drama-That-Must-Not-Be-Named sends a punch of despair into my gut. =[
I'm totally with you, saving any expectations until the premiere. I won't ever let a drama do that to me again! You let it get close, you believe its empty promises and then... *dramatic swoon*.. heartbreak.

for MSOAN, i've felt not good just by hearing the story, it's sound so boring,
and Jang Geun Seok becomes Musicians AGAIN and AGAIN? MEH !! Boring !!!
but different case for 49 DAYS, not onle by the pretty 6 casts, the story really caught my mind !

I still like MSOAN because of its great cast. I wouldn't watch it again and I wouldn't recommend it. But because the maincast was so great and the chemistry betweem the leads so refreshing...I love looking at great actors its just like that...and actually this drama will always stay in my memory because it was the first time that Jang Geun Seok really hit a nerve. I didn't really care about him in the other dramas. Even YB was so great for me. I rather liked the second lead. And I really wanted to like JGS i just couldn't. Or maybe it was just the hair... xD
Anyway I always loved MGY...that played a big role

I prefer Seo Ji-hye as the female lead.. I'm fine with either of the men here to be the main...they are all hard to choose....although if I must out number on them...
1. is the Iljimae, 2. is Mr. nice guy from Brilliant Legacy...no need to mention the 3rd. he's still a mysterious one.

This is gonna air in less than 2 weeks, right? I'm keeping my expectations low (as always!) but I'm excited to start watching a new kdrama soon. Been so bored since MP & DH ended. I even finished Tdrama Sunny Happiness (which was surprisingly easy to watch) coz had lots of time after DH. However, still didn't have the urge to watch Paradise Farm or Athena (sorry, dear Siwon!). Maybe I should watch Sign (heard good things 'bout it) before 49 days start?!

wow..Seo Ji Hye and Bae Soo Bin seem to have gr8 chemistry...i hope he gets the girl here....even if it is the second lead because if he doesnt I might end up pulling my hair out!...Jung Il Woo looks very pretty..he's a veryy cool reaper indeed....Since they have paired him with Nam in the stills, I wonder how their relationship will work through in the drama?

Chemistry! That's the vibe I was getting with Seo Ji Hye and Bae Soo Bin. I recently saw Bae Soo Bin on "Hurry and Tell Me" (or "Go On, Say It"). He was adorkable there. Can't believe he's 35.

I really hope this drama doesn't end up being a dud since it's the only drama that I find interesting enough to watch (after just finishing up Crack High!) but with actors such as Nam Gyu Ri and Jo Hyun Jae - both of whom I find very wooden - I won't be holding out too much expectations...
However, with such a passionate actor such as Bae Soo Bin, I really wonder why he hasn't ended up being a lead actor in trendy dramas and such. Well, I hope that if this drama lacks proper acting chops (like the late and great Crack High) from Nam Gyu Ri and Jo Hyun Jae, I hope the writers make up for it (LIKE the late and great Crack High).
Notice how many times I said 'hope'? Coz I'm holding out that much hope in this drama since there's nothing else to watch...

i think the PD has pair a fit couple pairings.
Jo Hyun Jae - Lee Yo Won
they're a Class actor and actress and in the same age
Bae Soo Bin - Seo Ji Hye
both are villians, so it's nice to see villian paired with villian
Jung Il Woo - Nam Gyu Ri
i don't have any idea since JIW is in sprit mode, and so is NGR.

Lee Yo WOn and Jo Hyun Jae have been paired twice in SEEYA MV - Ice Doll and Love Greeting which i think sooo good !!

so i believe this time LYW-JHJ will have the chem too.
about the couple stills of JHJ-LYW which we consider as not-so-hot , i thinks it doesn't matter, since their relationship was unknown each other from the first.
JHJ just knows NGR as his past love, and he helps and interacts with LYW for the sake of NGR (IMO)
to make them pose so hot this time is TOO EARLY, becoz we haven't know how the story will go..

the reaper must be a musician in his former life as human. He must have committed suicide and therefore his soul is hanging between heaven and earth, and as punishment been given the duty of escorting souls to afterlife. but he doesn't remember what he did wrong that caused him to receive that punishment and until he figured it out, he will remain as The Reaper.

are you kidding? her character in Fashion 70s and Surgeon Bong Dal Hee were a kind of comical animated role i think, esp in the earlier episode of SBDH she was so fun and comical.
so as in Queen Seonduk, when Deokman still a nangdo, it was a cute and unique character she brings and her chem with Uhm Tae Woong is cute <3
as for deokman transformed to be Princess and Queen, those comical character must change due to the role developement.

Nopew i'm soaking up as much of the photos from 49days as much as i can. The top photo looks like reaper boy wants to suck out her soul. oh wait she's died already. hahahe.
I don't mind reaper boy coming to get me. Maybe he died with the headphones or he got them to block out the complains from the souls he's set to watch over. i can see this soul doing to complaining. :P

i have seen teaser 1 and teaser 3, those are great . and i can't wait to see the real drama.
what caught me the most is lee yo won's role, i'm curious to see her double character. and i like to see her play comical role like in teaser 1 and teaser3
