Yoo Seung-ho back in uniform for iRiver

Yoo Seung-ho may be playing a few years older than his age in his current drama Flames of Desire (his first adult role), but he goes back to school for his new shoot advertising iRiver mp3 players. In fact, he looks like he’s stepped right out of his 2010 drama God of Study, where he played a wayward high school senior buckling down in a special class to attempt to get into the nation’s top university.
For those viewers of Flames who are currently trying to forget that Yoo Seung-ho is only 17, I’m not sure this ad campaign is going to help neutralize that Inappropriate Crush on a Much Younger Man. Not that that’s a bad thing…
Flames of Desire broadcasts on Saturdays and Sundays, and recently enjoyed a little surge in ratings once Secret Garden bowed out; I think it’s safe to expect its numbers to keep growing from here on out.
Ah, they grow up so fast… (and yet not fast enough?)

Hmm whenever I see stuff like this it kind of makes me mad. 60 year old men date 18 year old women and they call the 18 year old women gold-diggers. 60 year old women date 48 year old men and they call the women cougars.
What about the men? I know this is off-topic but it seriously rubs me the wrong way every single time I see the topic of "being a cougar is ok!" It's not about "being ok". It's about WHY women should be mentioned as "cougars" in the first place when men, what? There isn't even anything for them to be called.

Hehehe. I'm 22 now, but my first kdrama addiction was at the tender age of 11. I never did tell my parents the reason I never missed an episode of Kkokji, but it was because I was madly in love with Won Bin, of course;)

Lol, I am 16 too!! 17 in 2 months!!! Yay!! Quite happy to discover I am not the only teen here!! Wow, I can actually have a crush on a guy who is the same age!! All the actors that I have had crushes on were in their twenties *Kim Hyun Joong * *taecyeon* *Kim soo Hyun* yoo seeing ho is soo cute though, I have only seen him in god of study but planning on watching the rest of his shows as soon as I finish my exams!!
I have been watching kdramas and Asian dramas for 6 months but I have become soo addicted to them and have seen soo many my friends who have been watching them before me now call me an expert!! LOL

my korean friend also watches kdramas and says its so weird because it feels like she's talking to a crazed korean fan. and i'm chinese....

Kim Chun Chu rocked. That was the first time I came across an older Yoo Seung Ho, wondering who the heck was he until I realized he was that little bratty kid in 집으로 (Not sure of its English translation but something like To Home or The Way Home). Couldn't believe all that time had passed so that little jerk I wanted to knuckle ended up growing into a very awesome young actor.

Too young for me. I draw the line at 20 - and it has to be a mature 20. (And, dare I say it, his eyebrows are funny.) Fortunately, whenever Shin Eun-kyung is on camera, the world narrows to just her. Seung-ho is an acceptable actor, but she sets my world on fire.
I will take that kitchen, though.

I totally remembered him from Precious Family (부모님 전상서) suddenly after looking at these pictures. Why? I don't know, it just popped up. BUT Yoo Seung-ho was completely awesome in that show. I wasn't as interested in kdramas back then, but when I saw him, I seriously thought he was slow. He totally convinced me back then, and look now, he turned out so adorably cute!

I guess that I am getting really, really old because he looks like a young kid to me. I totally couldn't deal with Flames. There are so many handsome korean actors in their 20's. It seems absolutely creepy and exploitative to use an underage actor in an appropriate role.

In total agreement that it's absolutely inappropriate to have cast an underage actor as the husband of a 25 year old actress!
Also in agreement that I must be getting older. Sometime in the past 2-3 years, I went from being able to find young-mid 20-somethings hot to finding such boys too young. So, while I totally think Yoo Seung Ho is very attractive, I think of him as a very attractive boy who's about to become a young man. Of course, as a teen I would have crushed big time on him, but I who am not a teen look forward to how he'll mature in 8-10 years.
