Novel version of My Princess published

With the success of the drama My Princess these days, MBC Productions has hastened to adapt the story for another format with a novelization.
The novel features a plot that, like the drama, focuses on the development of love amidst the quarreling and clashes of its two leads. However, it purports to differ substantially in its more detailed exploration of the characters’ inner thoughts and struggles.
Still, the book’s probably not too far from the tone of the drama, as scriptwriter Jang Young-shil worked with the novel writer Sohn Hyun-kyung in the adaptation process. The two had also worked together in novelizing Jang’s previous drama, Lovers In Prague. The book also comes with color photos of the leads, for fans out there who love collectibles.
They’ve worked pretty fast to put this out, given that the novel was published before the drama was even half over. They must have been pinning their hopes on the show to be a hit, since I doubt it was written in the three weeks since its premiere. And I suppose novel format gives the characters more time to develop than we see onscreen — though really, at this point, no amount of humanization could make me like Yoon-ju or her ugly lopsided bowl cut. Even if she doesn’t have one in the book. It’s in her soul.

The drama is very exciting, very good! I love the drama & SSH, KTH.
Anyway, if writer publishes the novel, everybody buys books & reads the whole story to calm down their curiosity, so there will be no urge to see drama immediately on coming Wednesday & Thursday nights any more. It means they can delay to see the drama because they has already known the story. It will be not good for the ratings.
Thus, writer makes stupid decision & reduces the ratings.
If writer is prudent, writer will publish the novel right after the drama ends.

I'll eighth the 'it's in her soul' - pfffftttt!
About the hair though - I finally watched episode 7 with the subtitles, and the bit with the wig is actually quite funny (or funnily translated), with Seol saying that she's not going to cosplay as YJ.
YJ also compares Seol's feminine hairstyle with her own hairstyle, which she describes as masculine - and implies her hairstyle signifies intelligence.

its the car from ep 7-8! but why is jungwoo wearing mittens? gotta love them collectibles, even if the drama fails now, these will sell like hotcakes cuz both leads have tons of fans

Y'know, now that you mention it, it also looks like they're posing in front of Buckingham Palace (not that I'd know for sure). I wonder if the mittens and picture of the palace are visual foreshadowing, or if it's a fluke not caught by the art-team and way of signally "royalty." *ponders*

After seeing this for the fifteenth time, I also noticed he's wearing fairly serious boots. It sorta looks like he was late to the photo shoot and they didn't get him completely changed. :s

Awhhh, that's such a shame that there is no English translation bc I'd love to dive into the characters' thoughts through the novel. Bummer. Surely they'd produce it English for non-Korean speakers, please????

Bought it from a Korean seller on ebay. Just search for 'My Princess Novel' and it should appear as the only one. :)

Will this novel be available in the Philippines? I also really wish to read this book but since I'm a Filipino, I can't also read Korean and wish to have an English version for this novel because I really liked "My Princess".Hope thre will be an English version for this novel. I'm begging! PLEASE.
